I feel completely cheated
I feel completely cheated by onlinelebenslauf.com. I paid 1.95 € to create a CV and suddenly got charged an additional 34 € for a “3‑day plan” I never knowingly agreed to. This makes my CV more expensive than 3 months of Netflix or Spotify, which is absolutely ridiculous for a simple document.
The cancellation options are hidden and confusing, clearly designed so people forget or fail to cancel. It feels like the whole business model is built on tricking users with tiny print and pre‑ticked options instead of offering honest, transparent pricing. I felt so cheated that I even seriously considered going to the consumer court over this.
I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this site. There are plenty of free or fairly priced CV tools out there that don’t rely on misleading subscription traps and surprise charges.
UPDATE: After my comment here, the support team from the company was very kind to review the case and refund my money. I appreciate that. But the process was unclear, the plan is expensive, and it wasted a lot of my time in the process.
