I ordered fabric worth £34.50 (incl. delivery )on 11 May 2026.

On 15 May I sent an email asking about my parcel, as according to the information on their website delivery should take 2–3 days.

Today is 18 May and I still haven’t received any response, therefore I have opened a PayPal case requesting a refund.

i ordered 5 metres of fabric. After 8 days,i contacted the company. They said that the address was not the full address . I looked back into my receipts ,and there was nothing on there,except thank you for the order. I know that the they would have had the full address,and if they didn’t why not contact me. i never received the order,they kept the postage £6.49 ,and asked me to pay postage again,to have it resent! Obviously i certainly would not be doing that. The lady on the phone was extremely curt ,and put the phone down on me,when i questioned their integrity,as i feel this is a disgrace. I have never had anything like this before. I shall never use the company again.

Online fabrics have fabulous materials
I can usually find everything I want from Material cottons elastic etc
Staff are really nice and helpful I have bought from online fabrics for years and never been disappointed
I recommend this store to everyone

I needed a large fabric cloth for an event and found these guys as they had a big variety. I ordered samples which arrived promptly and the fabric was too thin so called them and the lady that I spoke to was very understanding and polite and she told me what fabric I need and sent our a sample for free. After I got the sample, I knew that was the fabric that I wanted and I placed my order which arrived really quickly via DPD. The fabric was fantastic, very high quality and it was used to cover a stage. It did the job so well and we are so happy we used this company and would highly highly reccommend to others!

Fantastic service from the team. Placed an order which I realised required amendment - emailed on Saturday morning and received an email that day followed by a call on Monday to process the amendment. We have used this company many times over number of years. They are always quick to deliver (even when we have needed something urgently) and when we had to return some fabric due to it not being right for what we needed they were very helpful and made no fuss. I have always dealt with Dee who has been helpful both on the phone and on email. This level of service means that we always try and use this company whenever we need fabric.

I visited Online Fabrics to find cotton fabric for my quilting project. I had been sending off for samples of fabrics online to other fabric sellers and wasted a lot of time and money as I couldn't find the specific shade of blue I needed to be the edging and backing for my quilt. So I went to Online Fabrics in person. They have a fantastic range of cotton fabrics, at excellent prices. I found the exact colour I needed in a good quality fabric with a high thread count. I also bought a number of haberdashery items that were keenly priced. Online Fabrics will be my fabric store of choice from now on and I recommend it to other quilters. I'm going back later this week for more fabric.

Purchased a large fire resistant material for stage curtains. 32m.
Arrived damaged with holes. Meaning 3m off one side was unusable.
Discussed with customer services who asked for photos and videos so they could go to manufacturer. Supplied on 1st March 2025.
No response. Follow up email - no response.
Cost of loss is £34.20 and additional seamstress costs £30 - £40
Under sale of goods act this was clearly not fit for purpose but we have been ignored - although initially looked like they would get us the refund.

I've never ordered from them before, but my first order i was so impressed. I put in the notes I needed the fabric asap as I had a project that had a very short deadline and had massively underestimated the work involved, i ordered Thursday evening and they got my fabric to me on the Friday! The fabric itself was a lovely quality and really good price, can't fault them atall, what service!

I was sent a product that wasn't what I ordered, or pictured on their website. I emailed asking them to rectify it but had no reply so I am stuck with the wrong product.

I ordered from France a 3mm Scrim Foam. I received it on time and very well packaged. The fabric was as described in the web site.

I have been using online fabrics for a number of years now and I have never had any problems. Always friendly staff to deal with and I will be using them for a number of years to come. They have a wide selection of choice of vinyls in stock at a reasonable price as well. 👍

Always happy to help have the most amazing range of materials. Family and friends have been using them too. Nothing is too much trouble if they don't have something you want they will find it. A must for all your fabric needs. Delivery is on point no issues.

I needed material for upholstering banqueting chairs but wasn't sure what would be best suited for my application. The team at Tahims had been very helpful over many months as I had probably visited their Coventry showroom 20+ times , asked loads of questions and bought nothing. However every time I walked in I was always welcomed and served very well having my queries answered.

Because I wasn't sure what type of material would be best suited for my upholstery use case, online-fabrics were able to offer me many samples from the race in store, which was really useful whiten discussing with the rest of y team.

When we finally placed the order all the material arrived very swiftly within a matter of days.
