Poor experience with order of candles for my wedding. Still not dispatched 30 days after ordering, had to cancel and buy elsewhere.
Ordered candles for my wedding from onestopcandleshop (aka Northern Lights) confirmation email was received so I had to first email for one. They responded to say the order had been received. After two weeks I had not received candles, nor had I been charged, so emailed to ask if they had been dispatched. They replied to say that 'custom' orders could take up to 30 days (this was not made clear at time of purchase) and specifying a date the order would be ready that was one month after the order, furthermore that custom orders could not usually be cancelled after 2 days after ordering. That week came and went and still no candles so I again emailed and they replied to say that the candles were out of stock and would not be ready for another month from that date (they had not even the courtesy to email me to tell me this earlier). The later date would be far too late for my wedding as I needed them the following week so I cancelled the order, this was no problem and no payment was taken. I was left with one week to wedding needing to source candles in a rush from another vendor. Not a great experience.
