SKAM - Stay away

I would give zero stars. When you purchase, you are offered a special discount. If you accept, they will withdraw both the discounted amount and the amount without discount. I got some of my money back, thanks to PayPal. But they are now saying that they cannot technically pay back the remaining EUR 49?!?!

Absolute scam. AVOID !

Absolute scam. Followed a link to a free 50p trial. I quickly realised it was a load of rubbish and they were recommending an 800 calorie a day diet, which is quite frankly dangerous! Before I even had time to cancel the trial £79.20 was gone from my account. Much like the other reviewers, it was impossible to find a way to cancel on their website. I emailed and they offered me a free lifetime membership. I politely declined and used the paragraph that another reviewer had shared. The agreed the refund thank goodness! Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Please avoid this scam con artist “ company “ at all costs!! The worst customer experience I have dealt with!! Was in tears at how they handled my enquiry. All they want to do is steal your money and do not care about the rest. They are an absolute fraud company and are very dishonest sneaky people.

I was lured in with the 0.50p free trial and was prompted with so many pop up ads asking to get a full membership with discounted price. I specifically clicked “ skip now and continue to free trial” and all of a sudden, the next page said thank you for your payment of £80!!!!!! I was absolutely gob smacked as I did not agree to this and know exactly what I clicked which was not that!

Straight away I emailed them explaining what happened, and they replied back with a fake screenshot of the page I would of seen before I agreed to the terms and conditions and said because I agreed their T&C, that I cannot get a refund. I must of sent 50 emails back begging for my money and explaining this was an error and something I did not click, only for them to gaslight me and tell me they will only refund me my 0.50p and nothing else and the only thing they can do is offer me a 50% off their current membership! And to top it all off, I did not even receive any of the services. As a single mother of 3 disabled children, £80 is very steep to me and has put me out for the month, especially in this cost of living crisis!!

I then contacted my bank after getting nowhere with them and because of the way, they sneakily took the money - it was very hard for my bank to dispute this. I’m still awaiting to hear back from them but would strongly tell everyone to avoid and not use. The few good reviews on here are fake written by them! They are scammy and con artists & horrible people! Karma will come for them eventually!!!!!

Same as everyone i guess, signed up for 7 days trial when all of a sudden i am paying 79.2£ monthly for an app that doesn’t do much more than a free app. Do not get fooled by it.
Cancel you subscription at the bank and freeze your card. Still in process of getting a refund hopefully from the bank.
I am more than happy to sue them as their subscription is not clear and the amount of money is not clear on their website, which consists with fraud.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!
As per almost everyone else they offered a 7 day trial for 50p, but when my daughter signed up they took 50p for the trial followed immediately by £79.20.
They refused to refund this despite her emailing them straight away. They tried to say the terms and conditions are clear and she had chosen to skip the 50p trial and go straight to the 3 month plan. This was not the case at all as she has screen shots of her purchase. Why did they take the 50p first for the trial if she had said she wanted to skip it?!
It doesn’t appear in the subscriptions on Apple to make it even harder to claim back.
I have sent them the email stating the law from here as per previous people who have also been scammed. Fingers crossed she gets her refund as that was all her Christmas money from family.

Terrible app and customer service

Terrible app and customer service. Don't waste your time or money. They says Money back guarantee and they will not refund you. I would rate a zero but it doesn't allow. Do not use this app. Use the free versions of this app. I asked for a refund after only three weeks of using and they insisted that I record via screenshots or video why I don't like the app. When I told them that I would not send them video they apologies and offered me a 1 year free to this sorry ass app. They refused to refund me. It's a terrible app. Don't waste your money or time.

PLEASE READ! How I got a refund from Omo

As everybody before me had said, this is a complete scam and it is designed to trick you into giving them your bank info so that they can take your money in underhand ways. The company then refuse to refund you the money (in my case £79) stating that you have explicitly agreed to the transaction.

HOWEVER, I managed to get my money back in the following way: I simply told them the app wouldn’t work on my phone. They asked for my phone make/model and I told them a Huawei (I actually have an iPhone). They then asked me to prove this via screenshots which I found online via Google image search. They also asked me for the app error message but I told them I wasn’t even able to get onto the app to access this.

I got my money refunded in 48 hours which was a massive relief as I’m a full time parent atm and £80 is loads to me.

Scam 1000'%

Scam 1000'%. Same as others. Followed the cancellation process on my trial period well in advance of expiry and still took subscription. Emails sent requesting refund. But they claim I didn't follow all instructions but I totally did and I have requested information about the missed step twice but they have not answered me and offer me a year full access. The problem is the ad alludes to hormone help but it definitely cannot do that. I asked the question. They did not answer.

STAY WELL CLEAR

STAY WELL CLEAR - SCAM!

Whilst looking for fasting options I came across this ‘free’ app! Having answered what felt like a million questions, I was happy signing up to a trial at the cost of £3. I then accidentally managed to subscribe to an annual fee of £63.36, only realising when the notification popped up from the bank saying it’d been taken!

Contacted them immediately for a refund to be told basically, it’s tough you’ve pressed on the wrong thing, but we’re not refunding you no matter what you say.

So I’m reporting to the bank tomorrow and going to trading standards. It’s obscene they’re getting with this sort of ‘business’. Shysters!

DIRTY SCAMMERS AVOID

AVOID. Dirty scammers. I paid 50p for a 7 day trial and then they trick you by making you skip through loads of popups of them asking you to pay £63 for 3 month membership subscription. The last button I clicked on, I believe on the fourth or fifth pop up, said ‘skip membership and continue with 7 day trial’ and then I immediately got a PayPal notification saying I’ve been charged for a membership subscription with Omo, which i definitely didn’t sign up for.

Luckily I got a refund after I emailed and I also cancelled my subscription via PayPal. I imagine it would be a lot harder to cancel if you paid directly with your card or Apple Pay.

This app is a total scam

This app is a total scam. Offers you a trial for £0.50 & shows you the billing information for that payment, then once you've approved it, it shows you a trick button (says something like 'commit' with a greyed out button underneath that says 'stick to trial') and slaps on another £79.20 if you accidentally click it. No way to get a refund through the company - and I tried my best. Eventually had to get a refund through my bank and then Omo had the audacity to pretend they'd chosen to refund me.
Worst part is there's nothing worth even remotely close to £80 on the app. It's just like any other weight loss app and you would find this out during your trial period but then there's no way to unsubscribe before being charged £79. There's no unsubscribe button anywhere in the app.
I honestly think the creators of this scam app should be prosecuted for the money they're tricking out of people. £80 is no insignificant sum, it can be the difference between putting food on the table at the end of the month or not. Vile, deceitful behaviour.

Like the other 98% of people on this…

Like the other 98% of people on this forum, I will say this website/app is a con. They will leave you sign up for the 50 cent but after pop up after pop up they eventually catch you for actual membership which cost me 63.36. DO NOT SIGN UP. My bank actually stopped the payment but they still managed to get the money!! I'm looking forward to their read the policy reply which unfortunately doesn't mention the mind boggling page after page of asking you to join and you eventually get caught. STAY AWAY. Imagine the policy says no money back once you sign up that's it unless you meet certain circumstances which can't be met!! What company does that? Thanks for the stress Omo and there you are supposedly trying to help people.
