I was born and grown up in italy

I was born and grown up in italy , my family used only Fratelli carli oiive oil so i was very happy to see that they sell in USA too. For many years i used this company for Christmas gifts and i always bought panettoni and colomba because of the delicious taste and 1 kg size. With very surprised this year i checked the prices and they were too high for less quantity than the past years , so i used for my gifts different companies less expensive and good quality , but i ordered 5 panettoni . It was a big surprised seeing the price incresed to $29,99 ( it was almost $5 less ) and the size is less than 700 g. Sad but it was Last time i use the company

I have been buying Fratelli Carli olive…

I have been buying Fratelli Carli olive oil for years. I have never been disappointed. I know when I place an order it will come in record fashion and it will be top quality olive oil. I have purchased other oils when in a pinch because I ran out and failed to order more and I can tell the difference in the quality of flavor.

The prices are very reasonable as well.

This was my first time ordering from…

This was my first time ordering from this brand and I received my order today, but everything came frozen. The olive oil when thawed back to room temperature became cloudy, so I hope that doesn't affect its taste.

Dear Mary, first of all thanks for your recent order. The olive oil you received is slightly frozen. Low temperatures can cause olive oil freezing during the carriage. As a matter of fact, olive oil starts to get cloudy at about 50F, and if cold is persisting, it congeals. However, freezing does not harm olive oil, which will return normal when warmed. You do not have to fear any change in its quality or in its taste, and the expiry date won’t be affected in any way. Sometimes it takes the oil several days to return transparent, even at room temperature.
You can speed up this process, by putting the bottles in a basin with warm water. Please do not hesitate to ask for any further information!

My go to place for many delicious products.

I have purchased from here many times, and even purchased from their shop when in Florence Italy.
I love all of their products.
My last order included more of their Borettane onions, which I love in a salad.
Pastas are excellent, as are the many pasta sauces.
I tried something new in this order- a bottle of their balsamic vinegar, which is pure vinegar and must, but cooked slowly for 36 hours. Very Tasty! Thick and flavorful.

Poor Customer Care and not understanding the needs of customers

The order was received damaged with the shipping box looking like a spilled oil. The bottom of the bottles got broken into small pieces. I called Customer care and they requested to take a picture of the broken pieces of glass and broken bottles. I explained to them that it is dangerous for me to handle a box with small broken pieces of glass. They didn't understand my concern of touching the oily box with many broken pieces of bottle glass. Finally, very carefully I had to handle the box with broken glass so I don't cut myself--I took photos and emailed Customer Care. They issued a refund.
The customer care at Carly were not understanding of my concern of handling broken bottles and small glass pieces, although I email them photos of the shipping box that was penetrated with olive oil.
I was offered a replacement, and I refused getting it, just in case the replacement shipment comes with broken bottles again and Carli Customer Care would be asking me again to handle broken bottles and pieces of glass in order to take photos.

We would like to point out that the request of pictures was not made because we doubted your good faith. This depends solely on the fact that when the goods are damaged in transit, it is the shipping company who is responsible for it and must also respond for the damage.
In fact, when we open a claim, we must also attach pictures in addition.

I love the products, but no delivery to Croatia

I love the products, however, its a shame the company is not willing to deliver to most of the countries abroad, eve the closest ones. I'm in Croatia and had to order to the friends address in Italy, from where she had to forward the package to me. Unnecessary procedure, in my opinion. Hopefully, Fratelli Carli will change their delivery policy and it would be easier to order their beautiful products.

Unfortunately we are not organised at present to ship to all foreign countries, but only to certain countries (France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium) where we have agreements with transport companies that guarantee us an accurate service.

I ordered the olive oil for the first…

I ordered the olive oil for the first time both orders were damaged so they say and one oder got all the way to saint louis mo and was damaged. These are crooks . Most of the reviews are in Italian go figure. I turned the situation over to the credit
Card agency. They will get to the bottom of it . I should have checked the reviews then I wouldn't have ordered from them.The don't deserve one star.

Great product

Made me and anybody else I come in contact with a CUSTOMER for life. Can not say enough about KELSEY and her OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Respectful, kind and VERY THOUGHTFUL.
