They banned me without notice or reason right after I paid for 6 months of service. I had just created my account and didn't even message anyone. I had no nudity in any of my photos and no cursing in my about me section. I'm guessing it had something to do with politics.

Ive only been a member 3 days and i can see its just full of fake profiles sont me wrong the women im being shown are beautiful but lets face reality when you join well known dating sites its hard to get any attention on here im getting left right and center the membership is too expensive aswel even if i was tempted i wouldnt waste my money i shall be deleting my profile pointless keeping it

paid about 100+ euro for 6 months. The site has few dead profiles from girls in netherlands (maybe 5 are active) and literally hundreds from indonesia, phillipines, kenya and mexico. None of them are transparent about their intentions and all of them are time wasters. They love to waste men's time and think that we're on a DATING site to make pen pal friends with girls across the planet that are, respectfully, EXTREMELY dumb. I politely told one that she should change to her real location. She went off a rant about how she speaks 9 languages and works for 27 companies bla bla. I said "it's agains the site rules to mislead people with fraudulent information". And a quote from someone's profile: "dont ask me why i change location haha i just feel like it". No commitment to move to europe, no plans, no transparency, no honesty. Women who expect men, as always, to do literally everything for them. I quote "maybe you're too poor to get out of your village". So apprently they expect YOU to move to THEM. For a person like that. And don't expect them to be beautiful, either.

Also, for all I know these could be catfishes who want you to send them free money.

I wrote so much on them because they're literally the only users on the site. Not a single match, not even a "hello" from someone in netherlands.

I reported 50-100 of these profiles and gave up. I accept the fact that this is a phillipino website now. If that's what okcupid wants, ok. But they should've told me that before I sent them the money. I sent them an e-mail and they refuse to do anything about it. This is their official stance despite them denying it. Okcupid is a website where you buy a wife (with a nasty personality) from indonesia, kenya or phillipines. Hey, don't blame me for it, I'm simply writing my own experience, if they had a wonderful personality, I'd mention it.

And by the way, you can see a green dot for who is online, that's how I know women from netherlands don't use the site. There's only about a few hundred profiles in total, so it's pretty easy to count. But who knows how many of them are dead profiles from 5-10 years ago, or fake profiles. Remember, companies can legally pay employees to make these fake profiles and write fake chats with real men - the police will refuse to do anything about it. In fact they actively encouraged luring men (example: chris hansen show).

After using the app for many years, I got banned while traveling abroad for no reason. Upon contacting customer support I was told it was for "suspicious activity" with no further information and my appeal got denied. Both the app and the employees are a complete joke. I have never even insulted anyone on the app let alone been suspicious about anything, I merely changed location and IP often while backpacking, which is not only normal, but also not against any terms of service.

I can only recommend everyone to NEVER USE THIS APP or waste their time contacting customer support.

They ban the actual women from the platform.
They keep up obvious fake accounts, even when users report them.
Customer support does not respond back.
They refuse to offer video calls as a paid service to prove that the user is real.

There are some or few good people to date with on this site. Although, I give this two stars due to too much ghosting of my messages & scammers. Also, one tip for anyone reading this never give anyone on okcupid your money until you meet them in person.

I have met really cool ppl in the past. The site SUCKS now. You have to verify every time. I was reunited with someone and before getting their number I was Banned! I had no nudes or bad language. Girls running around booty out and I get banned?!!

Same story as scores of other reviewers: I paid for premium and then found out this level doesn't allow you to view or contact anyone! they billed me for 3 "boost packs" (whaterver they are) So I lost $200 in one day. NEVER AGAIN!

This company is nonsense lol! I paid for the subscription and they refuse to show me the profiles who are interested in me. Never again. I knew these apps were trash. I will find my wife regardless, no apps will stop me lol. #scamLikely...

Beware of misleading paid packages! I purchased 15 Superlikes, but only 6 were properly sent. The remaining ones were deducted from my balance but were instead converted into regular free messages. It's incredibly difficult to verify the use of your purchases, and OKCupid seems to rely heavily on users' trust. After reaching out to customer service with technical evidence and the results of a test I did with a friend, they acknowledged the issue but only offered me a pack of 4 non-functional free Superlikes in return.
As a man, I’ve also noticed that most of the profiles who like me are either fake or from overseas, which makes the app feel less genuine. On top of that, the app is frequently buggy, further complicating the experience. Overall, these issues make using the platform frustrating and unreliable.

This dating site is a con like most others and they will try and trick you into paying by saying that somebody has liked your profile but you can’t see any image or details unless you pay. These types are a complete con and I found the Facebook dating page is far better & 100% free. I know what the response will be from Ok Cupid will be and as they will say it’s free to see people who have liked your profile which is a lie. It’s a shame you can’t upload a picture to prove that they charge you to view supposed person liking your profile

Trash scam site.
I created an account, paid for premium, got banned right after they received the money.
I didn't even get to talk to anyone, but apparently I did something I shouldn't?

Scam scam scam. F*** those people.

And on top of that, every time I send them a message, they say I do it wrong. Done it right every single time.

They will not respond, not delete your account - and you continue getting spam no matter what you do

i paid a membership to these people to “view who has Liked my profile”
what i experienced out of ’96 likes’ received was that 98%!! of all who liked me , were LYING on their profile about where about they actually lived!!! out of 96 likes **only two profiles i found were being honest ref where they really live ~ thee vast majorly were people Lying / “PRETENDING” to live in the uk when they actually live on the other side of the world!!! and have no intentions of ever meeting you** their aims are nefarious…

i contacted “OkCupid” who completely ignored my contact and refused to be engage on this subject!!
OkCupid not only condone this type of deceitfulness , deceiving their members , but they actually use this underhandedness to entice people into paying money for potential contacts that are unreachable and false!!

this deceit is continuous!! even now… virtually every one!!! right now!!! whether on the “recommended section” or “cupids picks” or “match %” is currently lying about where they live.. and these fraudsters OkCupid not only encourage it to "fool" customers into paying for memberships but then Profit from this deception…

A lot of scammers with good profiles and decent pictures. You have to check by Google photo. I have found many of them lying about their age, their marital situation and many other things.
The app makes you answer a lot of questions but you can find 1 on 10000 matching really with you. As you cannot choose the profiles in a list but the app gives you the profiles to choose, you have no choice.
The app blocks you for any "wok.." reason, don't want you to ask for real video calls for example but doesn't verify and check the profiles.
So, there is a lot of "sexual" profiles, low quality ones and mainly, even with bio well written, false ones.

Always check by the pictures on Google images. You may find surprises and mainly will protect yourself from many who try to steal your money. A lot in OKC try to do that.
