Unprofessional Company

Paid to use OCO as through Southwark Council Leasehold service. The OCO engineer didn't know what they were doing damaged the boiler and then said it was broken before they turned. I luckily got a refund from Southwark and their member of staff told me that they wouldn't use OCO based on the number of complaints that they receive about them from residents.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from OCO Limited.

I had an engineer booked for a gas service, but the entire visit lasted no more than five minutes. During the appointment, after he finished one of the pipes started leaking assuring me that the leak would stop on its own.

Unfortunately, the leak did not stop. I contacted the office to request that the issue be properly repaired, only to be told that they would not be carrying out any repair work.

As a result, I am now left having to pay for another engineer to fix a problem that was identified during OCO Limited's visit and handled inadequately. I find this level of service completely unacceptable and very disappointing.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company.

Horrible tailgating driver

Despite providing dashcam footage of the OCO limited driver ( LC19 OTW ) who was tailgating me while aggressively honking his horn and flashing his lights. It was so horrible he could have easily caused a collision. He caused me great distress on my journey home.
I was doing the speed limit and he could have easily overtake as there was two other lines beside the lane I was driving in.

Lastly after his reckless driving even after he overtook, Some miles earlier, I could not have been driving that slow that we both exited at Kidbrooke. I was directly behind him and manage to take videos and pictures on my phone. His behaviour forced me to be using my phone to capture him while driving, something that I shouldn’t be doing but his actions forced me to.

His behaviour was obnoxious and reckless, he needs to face the appropriate consequence for his behaviour, and also be informed about the dangers of tailgating, it increases the chances of collision, should the other driver brake suddenly or traffic stops suddenly . If a collision does take place it can cause injuries like whiplash, spinal cord trauma and back injuries. How it makes the driver being tailgated feel intimidated, scared and bullied. It feels aggressive and personal.
I hope this matter is taken seriously.

Despite email and evidence being sent over to a Trevor Stephen on his request. After receiving the evidence there no further communication from Trevor Stephen’s.
I am disgusted to see there are still reviews just like mine about the drivers at this company. Why even ask other drivers/ road users to comment on how your drivers are doing if it is not taken seriously.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. No heating for the past 3 weeks and no real hot water for a few years now, mostly lukewarm. Everytime they send an engineer, they are in and out in 10 minutes, never take a thorough look around, say the hot water will return after a while, and say they will follow up the next week, and are never to be seen again, where then I have to call and the loop continues. I had someone over recently to try fix the hot water in which he obviously failed, no surprise there, and in doing so, he botched the heating and now we have had no heating for 3 weeks. I’ve been calling daily, and have been getting the same response and excuse of needing a “new part”, yet my heating was fine before they came over. Absolutely applauding, and these lot should be avoided at all costs.

Unsafe, negligent and distressing experience with OCO

My experience with OCO has been completely unacceptable and deeply distressing. I am a registered disabled resident with a condition made worse by cold, yet I have been left without reliable heating and subjected to repeated failures and unsafe behaviour.
Jobs were raised to the wrong address, so I waited in all day for no one to attend. When engineers arrived late, one smelled strongly of alcohol, which was intimidating and unsafe. They carried out a meaningless action, promised the heating would return, refused to wait, and left. It never came back on. They later falsely claimed there was no light in my property.
They also interfered with my hot water pressure which was fine before. No temporary heaters were offered and my radiators are now freezing. I have tried to contact OCO since 9am and the phone lines are not working. I have been ignored and left in severe pain. I am now seeking legal advice.

You could say a mistake or accident…

You could say a mistake or accident happens and one can't judge a business on one incident, but for a few years now my elderly mothers boiler and piping were incorrectly installed, we raised the issue with the local council that (Southwark) and they sent out OCO Limited believe it or not they told my mother it's designed that way at first. Basically to get a no faults found repair I can only assume.

Further issues and other engineers later - that's not the case, after reporting it again, going through the process, the next dodgy engineer even tried to con us by saying the pressure gauge never was meant to work, as it was reported and then pointed out that it's broken. Previously they even tried to say they contacted us, but have no proof to provide.

If you're going to pay these people - DO NOT, you've been warned. I am angry that Southwark Council contract these people. They are cheating public funds.

Finally got the piping booked to be redone, but issues with the boiler causing the heating to not work properly, the engineer that came out a day late doesn't bother to read the previous inspection reports suggests theirs no issues.

I call the office to ask what's happening and they try to claim "it's a different department" hence why he didn't know. Lies. He claimed there's no fault with what we said.

I question why it's a different department, and question why these repairs are being treated separately and if the boiler is packing it should be replaced rather than multiple call outs and fixing each issue individually, as the water tank is already being removed basically then the rude agent tried to insinuate that boilers are expensive and Southwark aren't going to replace it for nothing. Yeah, you're just going to milk Southwark instead!

OCO Limited is terrible beyond anything I have ever experienced. I do not say this lightly - AVOID. If you're going to pay for their services or products, you have been warned.
