This company contracted with me to…transport a car
This company contracted with me to transport a vehicle from Florida to Ohio on March 30th. Asked for a $100 deposit, which was paid through PayPal. Then the day they were supposed to show, didn’t and when I contacted them they stated they were still working to find a driver. Promised they’d show the next day—did not. I was on a time crunch and ended up having to transport the vehicle myself via a car trailer behind then moving truck. I sent a demand for a refund for my deposit which they have yet to refund. Assured me 4/1 I would receive a refund, which they have still not sent. And then today contacts me by text asking if I still need my car transported. I was also contacted by another party who told me this is a brokerage company and they had my job “on the board” looking for a driver, and showed me a screenshot of it, and warned me they would contact me and ask for more money…. Which is exactly what he did on 3/31 & 4/1 prior to me demanding a refund. Not one time during the discussion of the transport did they state to me that the price may go up or that they were a brokerage firm. I have a signed contract on agreed price. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and am writing review everywhere I can to hopefully save others
