A perfect place from which to explore the beautiful island of Samsø…
Stayed here last week with my two kids (12 and 10). It was perfect and very much worth it. Our room was light and cool with plenty of space, beds very comfortable. There was lots for my active 10 year old to do (badminton, basketball, trampolining). Breakfast was amazing too - a huge variety of cooked and European breakfast plus endless coffee. The owners are quiet and left us to ourselves but extremely helpful and accommodating when asked, we needed an early breakfast on the day we left and the staff went out of their way to allow us to. It’s about a 12 minute walk to Nordby and 15 mins down to the beach (oh the beaches in the island!) on a track directly opposite, we didn’t even bother to hire bikes. Mårup is also about 15 mins the other way. We stayed in 4 different places in Denmark and this was the best value for money, the most comfortable and had by far the best breakfast. We will be back!
