New York Times is now unfiltered zio propaganda

The New York Times has become a very unreliable source of news. These days it prints Israeli propaganda without any consideration of the truth. The lies from October 7th, about mass rape and beheaded babies were used to justify Israel's genocidal war. Shame on you!

NYT Customer Service oh my...

Just have NO words how awful NYT customer service is..due to NJ Star Ledger closing...there is NO customer service email, except for their automated emails that one can't respond to, horrible chat, customer service people giving me wrong information, a supervisor assuring me the problem is solved & literally TWO hours over FOUR days for resolution..

A shameful newspaper

A shameful newspaper. It distorts stories, it serves dictatorships as Chinese Communist Party to suppress innocent people. In history, it supported Nazi as well.
Please boycott this newspaper so that people will not be deceived anymore.

The New York Times is so bad

The New York Times is so bad, they lie so much and promotes what basically amounts to propaganda, it so scary how many people listen to them and believe everything they say, If I was someone normal I won't listen to a single thing they say.

A News Outlet that Distorts the Facts

The New York Times has become more of an opinions paper with an agenda and narrative vs. news. They distort the truth so readers need to be really aware of the propaganda they are reading and always check other sources of information. I used to think this was a credible news source, but it’s really gone downhill over the years. Former NYT journalists have also admitted to how biased the newspaper is. I would take everything written by this news outlet with a grain of salt and I always check other sources before believing what is written.

NYT is unethical and inconsiderate

I signed up for free so I could read an article. They almost immediately blocked me from reading articles and started ramming themselves down my throat with unwanted emails. I have unsubscribed several times but they keep sending me unwanted and time wasting emails. NYT is unethical and inconsiderate and I would have to use abusive language to express my feelings!

Refuses to issue a refund

I am flabbergasted at how such a world-renowned journalistic institution can have astoundingly suspect business practices and non-existent customer service.

NYT refused to issue me a refund due to my payment information not being updated and claimed (or rather lied) about their system having a deadline for refunds.

I changed my subscription thinking it would only affect future subscriptions (as is what usually happens in my experience). NYT cancels my current subscription instead, that which I already paid for in advance for the entire year - of which I still had 6 months left.

They then send me an e-mail that they would refund the remaining six months. Afterwards, they e-mail me stating I needed to contact customer service to update my payment info to receive the refund which didn’t go through (I recently got a new card, which voided my old one).

The agent I talked to was polite and quick to respond, but ultimately useless. He claims that NYT’s system doesn’t allow them to give a refund as there is a supposed time-limit (cue eye roll). I LITERALLY GOT THE E-MAIL YESTERDAY!!!! Forgive me if I don’t believe or buy this blatant lie.

I’ve always respected and looked up to the NYT. Today, they just lost a potential life-long subscriber.

Account: 182536300

Edit: I contacted them again to inform them of the date of the e-mail, and the new agent reiterated I had to contact my bank and promptly left the chat without waiting for me to respond. It seems to me they are doing all they can do avoid sending the refund.

No notification on monthly up charge

They hiked up their subscription rate a substantial amount without notifying me. When I vouched to cancel and receive a refund, I was promised a carousel of months they would be willing to reimburse me, or was told their policies do not allow them to refund at all. They landed on giving 3 of 6 months worth back to my account. I am left confused with the huge variation of empty promises that were made, and don’t understand why there was such a back and forth that lead to waiting 2 hours for them to make up their mind.
Overall, they have poor communication with their consumers, and lack consistency on policy guidelines amongst staff. That being said, I appreciate the people I was talking directly to as they were trying their best with what they were given. Unfortunately, I will be left frustrated with this situation as long as there isn’t a full refund, it’s totally unprofessional. They aren’t worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor, buy a cook book & get your crossword kick from a local news paper instead. Big companies that operate like this make me sick.

I am a subscriber

I am a subscriber. I just looked at the business section and it is horrible. Business should be about business and not Trump, the Fed, the Maui fire, another Trump article, and what the parties think about the economy. It would be nice to report on a business profile, a CEO profile, maybe even something about the New York real estate market. But no, there is no escape from politics in this crappy paper. If my wife did not like the book reviews, I would cancel.

Terrible customer service

Paid for an online subscription but couldn’t sign in. Called their support line and TWICE the person on the phone simply hung up on me when they couldn’t quickly resolve the problem. And yes I was calm and polite both times. Wow.

New York Times is definitely worth it…

New York Times is definitely worth it if you’re looking for quality, in-depth news. They cover a wide range of topics from politics to culture, and I always feel like I’m getting accurate and well-researched information. It’s not just news, it’s insightful commentary that helps me stay informed about what’s happening in the world.

Beware subscriptions!

Without my knowledge they changed my $4/month games only subscription to $25.21/month. When I found out 4 months had passed so I cancelled & tried to get my money back for the difference. They absolutely refused. I am now trying to pursue it through my bank. Terrible customer service! Stay away from these criminals! Do not get duped like I was!

NYT gives Trump a pass onthe execution of Liz Cheney…

New York Times representing under the two largest and much more productive states has always managed to keep the public informed as to the increasing violent rhetoric and actual violence forthcoming and in the past on January 6 from Donald Trump yet now they can standby why he threatens to execute not only general Millie but now Liz Cheney daughter/former congresswomanof vice president Cheney by execution by firing squad. It doesn't matter what he says of his intent with that rhetoric it is a fact since January 6 that many of his Maga group take it dead seriously but New York Times doesn't even mention it and you can see New York Times falling into the grips of a dictator which would be the end of free journalism as we know it.

can't even get games right

I only subscribe to the games. The app is atrocious. Every single time I open it I have to enter my password twice, then reject a promotional offer, then reject an upgrade offer. The navigation and the graphics in Spelling Bee are dire.
Interested to note that the journalism is also rubbish!
