Loved the the experience with Yves, very professional, explained the history of the of the watches and you could tell he loves his work. Truly tickled my scrotum, 10/10 would recommend

The Good: The gentleman we spoke to was very polite and transparent.

The Bad: Our experience was significantly below par compared to other Rolex stores. If you're a serious buyer or not a full-time resident in Sweden (folkbokford), I'd recommend avoiding this place to prevent wasting your time.

Summary: This establishment feels excessively transactional, lacking a focus on building customer relationships. Overall, it was a waste of time and a disappointing experience.

Here's a detailed account of our visit:

We are preparing for our wedding next year and were eager to purchase two Rolex watches, having been customers of Rolex for years while living abroad in the Middle East, South and North America. Now, residing more frequently in Sweden, we aimed to establish a connection with Rolex Sweden, given our roots in the country.

Around 3-4 months ago, I reached out via email to schedule an appointment, considering our part-time residence in Sweden and the United States. Despite a prompt initial response, I was instructed to follow up closer to our desired appointment date. Reaching out again approximately 1 month prior, I received the same response, which became frustrating.

However, the situation escalated when, even two weeks before and days leading up to Christmas, I attempted to secure an appointment for a date before New Year's Eve, only to be told that they couldn't schedule that far in advance. We decided to visit the store, hoping for a different outcome. Regrettably, we had to wait in line for 45 minutes, and to our dismay, someone who had booked an appointment weeks prior bypassed us.

Upon finally entering the store, we encountered a courteous gentleman. Yet, it swiftly became evident that Rolex Sweden was unwilling to add us to a waitlist or sell us anything beyond their in-store stock due to their policy, which excludes tourists or individuals who aren't permanent residents. Despite being Swedish with a working and active personnummer (for non Swedes, this is an ID number given at birth or when you move here to verify that you are a Swedish citizen) and having property in Sweden, they seemed fixated on my future wife's American background and that we reside there as well as a dealbreaker, insisting on only catering to full nationals.

In sharing this review, my hope is to assist others in similar situations—non-Swedish or not full-time permanent residents—to save time and avoid the hassles we faced at this particular Rolex dealership. We saw a few go in and leave pretty shortly after which is disappointing that they can't be transparent about that upfront. My future wife is already looking at other brands which is unfortunate as we love Rolex and the brand.
