Goods not fresh at all!
I have been a customer for a long time. However, late last year, I had the worst experience with this company. The pistachios that I ordered were rancid. Very old merchandise that they discounted for a reason. And the walnuts were the same. I had to throw them in the garbage. Despite me writing to them twice and complaining about this, no one bothered to reply to me. It's the last time I order from this company.

They are much cheaper than the major supermarkets and always have products that I cannot find elsewhere.

No despatch fight for refund
Ordered and payment taken same day. 5 working days no update on order. 2 emails from me and Facebook message AND two telephone calls with no info on delay. Requested refund but apparently that takes 3 working days...... this place needs to be closed down. NO customer service and fight to get your money back. Don't order from these guys
Really poor quality control of…
Really poor quality control of macadamia received. But be warned If you don’t mind more than 80% broken loose pieces then order from them. Need to resort throwing them out as the pieces is way too broken
Ordered items over a week ago
Ordered items over a week ago. No update so I called 1 week later and was told there was MASSIVE shipping delays but the items had a shelf life of 1 year! Irrespective of the shelf life, over 1 week to pack a few items and get a courier to pick up is not acceptable. Thank god they say they will refund me - I will go back to the reliable nutgrocer.com.au for my next order. At least they fulfill the orders within a day.
Spearmint leaves from Nuts…
I bought spearmint leaves from Nuts About LIfe and they were delicious. When I'd bought them from the supermarket they were hard and tasteless, so I thought I'd try online. I was very pleased that I did as the spearmint leaves were the fresh, chewy lollies I'd enjoyed in the past. I've satisfied my addiction for the moment (and shared with others)but will be happy to buy from this company again. Lorraine

The nuts I ordered were amazing and the website is so easy to use.
Expired products
I made a purchase on the 29 December 2022 and received the order on the 6 January 2023. I ordered 5kg of Beetroot powder and the expiry date on the product was the 10 January 2023.
I contacted the seller via email and requested a full refund of the purchase price.
In their response I was told to consume the product and don't bother about the expiry date.
This is a product that I would likely be consuming on a regular basis and this company does not take responsibility for anything. Health and Safety issues does not matter to these people. They are greedy and don't care about the customer service and relations. I raised a dispute with PayPal and they could not believe the arrogance of this company. PayPal have escalated this issue. Please consider carefully before purchasing anything from this seller. I have lost all confidence and trust and respect in their ability to conduct a positive shopping experience. I have taken photos of items and copies of all the emails.
Will be reporting this to the Consumer Affairs Victoria office.
Worst customer service from a food company
They call themselves an Australian company yet they tried to treat me like in a manner which would be considered unAustralian by most of this country who have morals and care about customer service. Overall, this is not a good place of business! I shopped here for about a year, it was ok at first but then I noticed a big drop off in the quality of customer service. Unlike other reviews I did not notice the nuts were rancid, but I did suspect some of the Brazil nuts tasted pretty old. I tried to contact omar via email, but I was ignored! That was their first mistake! A friend of mine tried calling the company when our delivery went missing and they responded in a very uncaring and unprofessional manner. That was there second mistake. Not taking me or my business seriously, that was their final mistake. In a ironic way though I guess I should be thankful. By being such poor salespeople, they have actually saved me about 700$ a year. I found other places to source my shopping needs that are much cheaper in the long term Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there again. Quite a nutty business model indeed! Hope this helps other customers who are wise enough to read reviews!!!
Nuts About Money - nothing else
Fatima (aka Emma/only service operator) who apparently runs the company (into the ground) hasn't a clue about Australian values in business.
I highly doubt this is a legitimate Australian family business at all.
I was told if I returned the package they sent I would receive a full refund, a bit hard to do when the business' return address that THEY put on the box is a fake one. After 5 weeks the package is still sitting at Australia post undeliverable to them because of this.
They couldn't care less, so I'm boycotting this company due to its poor customer service, its over emphasis on money and under emphasis on competency.
Fatima's idea of a solution is to just keep waiting and 'let's hope' the package turns up.
Just Pathetic. Not to mention that if you need customer service during business hours another company answers the phone and says that Emma has left the office for the day (at 2pm) so call back another day. Very helpful. A business making 1.4mill a year can't afford to put on a full time service operator? That's just greed and laziness.
This company is a joke and not a funny one.
