Nuts about mutts is 👌🏻

Lottie is like my best friend and no matter what I'd give her the best, fact is she has been going to nuts about mutts since she came home at 10weeks and she has been very looked after every time she has gone there .
Although I live across the road if Lottie isn't on a lead she will make a beline for the front door at nuts about mutts, this tells me she loves it there ? Would any dog run there if she didn't like it there ?
Whether Lottie goes there for a couple hours to a couple of weeks I know that she is safe and happy.
Never had a bad word to say about lois or the Care Lottie receives and seeing other dogs leave and return tells me it isn't just Lottie who likes going there .
I really think the socialisation Lottie received there as a pup is the reason why she is one of the best tempered and loving dogs I've ever met .
Will always bring Lottie back when i need too.

Super, superb, amazing!

My dog is my word and I would do anything for him, but I needed a holiday and sadly him coming with me was not an option.

Family and friends were not in a position to help, but I had a look online and found Nuts About Mutts to be just round the corner from me.

Being rather picky I went and viewed here and a couple of others but the friendly welcome, and vision of happy dogs told me this was the place to go.

So with that he was booked in.

Several weeks later the holiday came and it wasn't easy for me but I was made to feel at ease.

Not going to lie the holiday was great fun and I missed my little furball, but the welcome surprise of a message and a picture of my little boy was a welcome surprise!

An returning home I went straight round to get him to find he was busy running about in the garden with the other dogs, happy as Larry!

Overall great price for the week, great care and attention and whilst I don't require regular service of dog care I know where I will be going next time.

Great value, happy dog.

In urgent need of someone to look after the dog whilst the wife and I were away on business, I was directed to Nuts About Mutts.

Simple and easy to get my hound in and to be honest good value considering the last minute notice.

How dog day care should be - 2 years on still happy!

*Update 5/8/15*

My last review (see below) was back in July 2014. I felt it was worth updating this as I have now been using Nuts About Mutts for a further year.

Has my first review or opinions changed? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Averaging 2-3 days of care each week, try as I might I can't find fault with the service offered.

My 3 year old lab has become more confident, but socially aware as a result of day care here. He loves going and confidently walks himself in.

I have used more frequently over the last 12 months and had several overnight stays including 8 consecutive days whilst away on holiday. Naturally, we miss our pets, so when Lois lets you know that they are ok and all is good, you get that warm and reassured glow when you are away that you can rest easy.

Lois is flexible and will accommodate if she can.

On many occasions I get a breakfast refusal from the dog, but Lois will gladly offer it to him later in the morning, perhaps when he is ready and will do whatever it takes to ensure the uppermost care is given to your dog.

With the service and competitive prices I have no reason to consider using anyone else for looking after my dog.

If you need someone to care for your pooch, give Nuts About Mutts a try.

I have been using Nuts About Mutts for a year now and can speak openly and honestly about just how superb the experience is for me and my four legged friend.

The service received from day one has been friendly and professional.

Since using their services I have not come across any issues. In fact Lois (the owner) is very accommodating and for regular clients will work to find a solution for you when necessary. For example on one day I needed to arrange a drop off at 7am but with an earlier pickup. Whilst outside her normal hours of operation, she did this for us.

Run from home, the dogs are within a family environment and not stuck in kennels and left there until it is time for a walk. They are free to run around the back garden & play as they like.

Unlike some sitters where they take a maximum number of dogs and charge more as a result, with Nuts about Mutts the number of dogs cared for varies, but makes for a good social mix for the dogs and helps with their learning.

My dog is never afraid to go, generally comes back worn out.

What makes Nuts About Mutts different is that they are firm and caring. Dogs are taught right from wrong, to play nice, to socialise and be well behaved but to also be fun loving creatures and when needed show the additional care.

On one or two occasions my dog has not been too well on the morning when being dropped off. Lois kept an eye on him and let me know when and if things got worse. One did and I am thankful, because he needed surgery. She looked after him before and after, at times I couldn't.

I can't to date (after 12 months) fault the service and experience I have had with Nuts about Mutts and can only recommend it.

Go, take a look, speak to them and see if it is right for your dog.

Should not be allowed to look after any living creature

Was looking for a kennel for our mini dachshund whilst we were on vacation. Found Nutts about Mutts and everything seemed fine. Handed in out dog as agreed with bowls, bed and food and went on vacation.
10 days later, our otherwise fit and healthy dog was a shadow of himself. He came to me creeping along the floor. He had lost nearly 50% of his body weight - he was a very fit and healthy dog going into the kennel, now his bones were clearly visible. He had 2 deep cuts to his nose and his lip was split. I was told he'd cut himself on a thorn bush in the garden. And the stench that followed him was horrible - it stemmed from feaces and urine.
I immediately booked an appointment with the vet who was horrified at the state our dog was in. The vet could also inform me he had been bitten by a bigger dog and was severely under weight. He immediately got stitches and penicilin and we started controlled feeding to get him back to his normal weight 5kg).
I have shared my experience with friends and one insisted I make others aware of how Nutts about Mutts maltreated our dog.
Find another dog kennel if you like your dog.
