Nucleus Network Australia
My experience with Nucleus Network in Melbourne has been exceptionally poor, not only because of how my clinical trial screening was handled, but also because of the organisation’s subsequent conduct.
Following my screening experience which involved astonishingly unprofessional conduct by medical staff, I provided detailed negative feedback. In response, Nucleus Network agreed in writing to delete my personal information, as I wanted no further association with the organisation. They also offered to compensate me for the time I had spent participating in their screening process, in recognition of my poor experience.
Despite making both commitments in writing, Nucleus Network subsequently explicitly refused to honour either of them.
What I find particularly unacceptable is that these assurances were made in response to a complaint, yet the organisation then chose not to follow through.
Clinical trial volunteers should be able to expect professionalism, transparency, respectful treatment and reliable communication. My experience has left me with very little confidence in Nucleus Network’s handling of complaints or its commitments to prospective participants.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering participating in a clinical trial with Nucleus Network to reconsider, or at least ask detailed questions about screening, compensation, personal information retention and the complaints process before proceeding.
