I reported matter to nyp and received the above reference. I didn't hear from them which is passive aggressive behaviour. I email them and eventually they reply deciding not to do anything about it.

In short, on 23.10.23 at 11.23, royal mail successfully delivered a purchase to Londis shop, 132 Haxby Road, York. On 29.10.24 I go to collect it. First man refused to release it to me as I didn't have a bar code. First man picked up parcel, and marked item as collected in his notebook. He didn't amend the entry, ie non-collection. I returned and second man asked for an FM code. I contacted ebay who said FM code issued once L process parcel which then generates an email to me with an FM code.

Londis shop refused to release to me my purchase. To date, they have not returned it to the seller from whom I purchased it.

As rm successfully delivered the purchase, the seller cannot recover the loss. The seller did refund me, which they didn't have to do.

02.11.24 I email nyp and have email exchanges with different plod. They clearly FAILED to read, or just couldn't be bothered, for one referred me to the consumer rights act! It has NOTHING to do with the CRA. I asked if he/she was aware of the postal rule.

Attempted to explain to nyp plod that if Londis shop do this to me and keep my purchase, they're likely to do it to others, ie theft

nyp are utterly, utterly useless and pick and choose. It's also about deliberately manipulating statistics etc.

USELESS, UTTERLY, UTTERLY USELESS.
