Do not buy a Nokia phone

Do not buy any Nokia phone. Especially the 2.4. They are all complete utter rubbish. It is a waste of your money. I have been using this phone for 2 years and there is nonstop lag and the apps are so slow you can't do anything. Shame on Nokia for selling a phone they tested and knew it didn't work. Do better.

Nokia phones are the worst phones ever…

Nokia phones are the worst phones ever and they need to be shut down and closed. They lie about the speed and the quality. They lock up there slow and stick all the time. If there was an emergency you would die because the phone would just freeze on you. Do not ever bye Nokia phones. All the phobes need to be crushed in a compactor and done away with.

Not recommended

I was unhappy shortly after purchasing my Nokia 3.4 for a variety of reasons.

One good aspect was being able to double tap the screen to open the ‘desktop’. However following a recent ‘security’ update this facility no longer works despite the settings showing this as selected. I am now even more disappointed. I will never buy another Nokia and am considering replacing this and putting it in the dustbin. Not recommended

Fragile

The most fragile thing I ve ever seen . Phone kept in a flap case falls. The protective glass is fine but the display breaks ! 🙁What even is this ? Functionality is fine . Camera is also fine . Both are worth the price . But this ? It's build? I would never recommend buying it .

Total failure with recent Uber Eats /…

Total failure with recent Uber Eats / Nokia promotion, false advertising and the promo code didn't work after hours of requests to customer service. What a waste of time. And then you can't return after 14 days, which is a terrible restrictive policy.

I will never shop here again.

NOKIA is not what it used to be. Stay away.

As a person who is born in neighboring country to Finland all those years, I've been loyal to them. In recent years I felt bit unhappy about Nokia phones, but I tolerated it. Not anymore, since:
1) I can't transfer files (photos, music, etc for offline use) via cable. Now I have to use cloud - ONLY. To fill the online form with several photos it took me two hours to complete it. That's not normal.
2) Almost every time I unlock the phone the NOTIFICATION list of email, application and SMS-message and other stuff is falling over the home screen. Then I swipe it up and then it falls down. Then I swipe it up and then it falls down again.
3) Sometimes I make phone call and screen goes black as if I decided to lock the screen.
a) Well, if person on other side is not responding to phone call, I can't stop calling because I don't have access to my phone controlls. And then it is redirected to voicemail. Few times I needed to restart the phone.
b) Also, I can't use "Speaker Mode" while having conversation or monitor call status.
HONESTLY, SAY AWAY FROM NOKIA.

Keep away from Nokia - Liars and scammers

**As an update to this. I was forced to contact my bank and ask for a chargeback as this useless mob never responded.**

Bought a simple Nokia 105 single sim mobile, online from Nokia, for my wife as a backup for emergencies. When it arrived, it didn't work properly - there was no ringtone. I contacted them via their chat service, which on the surface, looks good as it is answered quickly. After an hour of changing setting, resetting and carrying out a full factory reset, it still didn't work properly. i the told them that I wished a full refund as it was faulty and I only had it for a matter of days. They agreed and said it would be refunded to my card within 5/7 working days. They even said I didn't have to return the faulty phone. That hasn't happened and I have been in touch with them now on nine occasions
via the chat and their support email address. Each time I get fobbed off with a story that it is being escalated and will be dealt with soon. It's utter b*llshit and they are professional liars. Whatever you do, keep away from them. They are a bunch of shysters.

Customer service is reachable and cordial, but not helpful.

Lets just say that if their customer service for their products is as bad as their customer service for a website not functioning where they are trying to sell their products, then it could be a big problem for purchasers later. I contacted customer service (who was actually reachable), because they were offering a 10% discount for any products if you signed up for their mailing list. The feature does not work and gives a message that they ran into a problem. I figured it would probably help for them to know there is a problem, and I was interested in placing an order with that discount. However, I contacted them through chat and email, they basically do the same thing. They tell you to send them a screen capture, try another device, then try a different web browser, Try the same web browser but delete your cache, try it later, etc. But they didn't even try to replicate the problem to see if they have the problem too (I asked them if they did!). They are not even aware of the offer on the website. So one can waste a lot of time with them as they send you in circles. If a customer has a problem and they won't even check to see if the problem is on their side or with their product, that is a problem. I think that their full training for their jobs is on how to be nice, not how to be helpful, how to solve a problem, how to escalate a problem they can't solve. So they are cordial and make it seem like they really want to help you. But they have no way to help it seems. It seemed they just wanted to keep me busy trying to solve the problem until I gave up. ..... and I did.

I bought a Nokia 7.2 smartphone on…

I bought a Nokia 7.2 smartphone on January 2020 and after a while appeared problem, especially the person I were speaking couldn't hear me when the phone was near my ear. After some communication's with the mobile care were I done restarts, hardware resets etc (Lost several months to do and feedback the results) I sent it for repair. I received back and after 3 months the same problem appeared again plus the battery appeared high temperature issue, problem that I had not before the repair. Communication again, they helped me to do all these steps I done first but the warranty has been finished, so they can't repair it for free, although it seems that something gone wrong with the repair 6 months ago. I spent some extra money to buy a quality Nokia mobile phone (as I were believing) and was the worsted phone I had. Never again Nokia I will buy a cheap China mobile believing that will be better (if no, I can buy a cheap phone to change it every year). I' ll publish this review at any site I know and I 'll make a special full review video on my channel on YouTube.

Nokia 110 4G work phone didn't for long

I bought a 110 4G as a work phone I could afford to lose or break. It seems ok to start with, but it started beeping in the middle of the night, for low charge, which was strange as it was fully charged when I went to sleep. Low and behold, battery was totally flat in the morning, so I charged it and it held its charge no problem, but I bought a new, genuine battery to replace the original genuine battery, and two weeks later, same thing happened. I can put this down to two things, firstly the genuine batteries are junk, or more likely, Nokia is running the battery down deliberately to make you buy a new phone, either way, I bought an apple instead as it was cheaper to get insurance and keep in contact with people.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY

I bought a Nokia 2.4 about a year ago. I am only reviewing now as I generally do not complain about products or services, I prefer to just never buy the product again. However, if there is one product that consumers should be aware to NOT purchase, it is this Nokia.
During this time, there has been numerous updates of the system and one would think with the updates that the system would be faster. The answer to that is NO. IT GETS WORSE.
My phone rings when someone is trying to call and the screen goes black, so I cannot answer. I can NEVER rely on it to pick it up and open an app or make a quick call because it takes AGES to do anything.
I have gone on Youtube, the Nokia community. Cleared caches, gotten a SD card (by the way, you can't move apps to SD card, only images/music)
The contacts are forever syncing and when I try delete contacts (even on google contacts) they come back when you switch your phone on/off (which happens A LOT).
Also MOST apps make this phone slow, so I have an empty useless phone that still does not work properly.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY.

Nokia phones & repairs is just a scam & greenwashing

This first time my phone broke it just turned off and presented a black screen that would not turn back on. All I ws doing was playing music, not even touching the device.

The second time I sent it for a repair was because it started being very slow and not functioning correctly, taking minutes to close a window and to react to me touching the screen so nothing would open or apps would crash straight away. When I sent the phone off this time there was no repair done, apparently they could not find the issue. I received my phone back on the 19.07.2022 to find it in a worse condition than when I sent it off. It was stuck in an update (2GB) that it needed to download but once downloaded it needed to restart which caused the phone to crash each time and resulting in the factory reset screen. I find this appalling - Obviously who ever had looked at it would have seen this and sent it back to me anyway? Or I have received someone else model as the sim card slot is now different.

I now have to send it off AGAIN for a 3rd time yet I cannot create an order to send it off because the DHL delivery takes 48hrs to sync. So again I am out of a phone for an extra 3 days on top of however long it takes to repair again.

Now 28.07.22 I have received my phone back in the EXACT same unworking condition. Completely broken yet I am expected this to be a working product? Not only have I expressed this against my salutary rights but Nokia did not seem to care and came out with the usual S**T of we have to follow procedure or sending it off for repair...... for it to only not be repaired again.

Do not trust them, their customer service is useless - you cannot get in touch with anybody who can actually sort your issue.

What's more frustrating is that my warranty is not extended, but will eventually run out and my crappy phone that’s faulty will no longer be fixed through no fault of my own. What a scam.

Furthermore to all this one of the perks was that it planted a tree to offset carbon emissions created from the green product. Yes considering my phone has been sent to Hungry 3 times from the UK to be repaired I don't think this is particularly sustainable to me - a Complete GREENWASHING SCAM!

Maybe one day I will get some justice for this appalling service.

For reference I wasted £120 on the Nokia G10 for it to work for 4 months.
