Disappointing After-Sales Service Experience with Nissan Turkey
I purchased a brand-new Nissan Qashqai in December 2024 from an authorized Nissan dealer in İzmir, Turkey, expecting the level of quality and after-sales support associated with a global brand like Nissan. Unfortunately, my experience with Nissan Turkey’s authorized service network has been highly disappointing.
Within a few months of ownership, I began experiencing recurring issues, including a complete electrical failure where the vehicle would not start at all. Despite the vehicle being taken to the authorized service via Nissan Roadside Assistance more than once, no clear fault was identified, no written technical explanation was provided, and the issue has reoccurred. As of today, my vehicle is still at the authorized service center with no transparent or satisfactory diagnosis.
In addition, a manufacturing defect in the steering system was identified and repaired during a separate service visit. However, I also repeatedly reported an ongoing issue with the right-side mirror, which frequently fails to open and close properly. This issue was not inspected or addressed due to the lack of attention and follow-up by the authorized service, despite being reported.
Overall, what should have been a reliable and stress-free ownership experience with a new vehicle has instead resulted in significant time loss, inconvenience, and loss of confidence in Nissan Turkey’s after-sales support. My concern is not only the vehicle itself, but the apparent inability of the local authorized service network to handle recurring issues in a professional, transparent, and responsibility-driven manner.
I strongly believe Nissan should review and improve the quality, accountability, and customer-care standards of its authorized service operations in Turkey, as they currently fall short of the expectations set by the Nissan brand on a global level.
