Nicholas Camera Co 

Today I went into Nicholas Camera to purchase my first film camera upon a recommendation from a friend. I could not have been more delighted at the service from both men in the shop. The older man (who I assume was the owner) talked me through a whole range of film cameras and took about 40 minutes to explain all features, lenses and film. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! It is really rare to get that kind of customer service -and really happy with my new camera… thanks so much.

Purchased a lense. With 3 month warranty in March 2023. Whilst lense was in my camera bag it broke snapped. Manager of Nicholas Cameras Camden town would not do a exchange as my right by British law. Instead he expected me wait several days and to pay for another telephoto lense. If this was Jessops, camera world etc etc I would have received an exchange in keeping with British Retail law. The shop is full of con.

I came with my 15 year old granddaughter with the thought of replacing her non-functioning Minolta slr and its generic 30mm-80mm lens. The manager was affable, opened up the camera and repaired the shutter in five minutes, pronouncing it a camera worth keeping. He opened up a discussion on replacing the lends and offered simple and sound advice to my granddaughter to whom he did not talk down. She followed his advice and enjoyed the experience. Altogether satisfactory including the price.

The manager was so lovely and diligent with helping me choose a camera that was right for me, and was prompt and prioritised superb customer service with everyone who walked in. Very very very happy and will be recommending to everyone :)

Great service. went to this shop yesterday asking for advice on some equipment and John was extremely helpful, he even gave me a chance to write the details down. GOOD OLD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Not only the rudest person I ve ever met but also incompetent and a liar. For your own sake avoid like the plague.

Awesome service, John took allt he time to explain to me differences between lenses. Felt like a photography class. In the end I got some pretty good lens and with the opportunity of trying them and returning or changing if I was not satisfied. He also gave me a free UV filter to protect the filter.
Could not be more grateful for the service and the kindness, besides, there is so much to browse

The mans rude. Google further than these trust pilot reviews and you may see a different story to the ones shown below. I left after he was rude to me without any reason. horrible place.

This place was awesome! I had called ahead of time to see if they had what I needed and sure enough they did! When I came into the store everything was near and in order. The employee that helped me was friendly and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need; which is awesome.
