Cancelled my VPS and they continued to…
Cancelled my VPS and they continued to charge me monthly. When i caught the error and contacted them via their ticketing system, i got the response multiple times that they were forwarding it to my billing team. That's where it ended. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!
Service Never Delivered, Support Runaround
I purchased a "Hybrid VPS" from nextarray on 12/07/2022. I was surprised it wasn't provisioned immediately, but decided to proceed anyway, two days(!!! typically an operation that takes seconds or minutes) later I receive an email that it is almost ready. On the 21st I went to check in on the status, and I found I had no access (typically you would expect a control panel that allows you to access VNC, mount ISOs, etc, this was not present). I filed a ticket late in the evening and was pleasantly surprised to receive almost immediate support, which gave me access to the aforementioned control panel.
At this point, I found that I could not install any of the provided OS templates, nor could I use the "provide your own ISO" option. All options failed at the "booting system" operation, which suggests to me that perhaps there was never a real VM provisioned to me. I engaged support immediately, received another very prompt response, and waited. I continued waiting, checking for status updates occasionally, until I received an identical canned message a second time. I looked back and found that most messages after the initial response had been sent exactly on the half-hour, contained very similar verbiage, and were often not particularly relevant to my question.
For instance, early on I asked this: "Thank you for the quick response, is there any update yet? I see in the control panel that my VPS is being deleted."
and the response was:
"Hello,
I am forwarding your request to our concern team, they will keep you posted on it.
Thanks,
[REDACTED]"
I received nearly identical responses in the interim, and then this identical response on 12/27. This prompted me to ask whether this was an automated responder. At which point I received another message
"
Hello Daniel,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, I am forwarding your request to our management team. They will keep you posted
Thanks,
[REDACTED]
"
Note the *nearly* identical verbiage (yet again). I gave them another day then asked for a refund, I received no response and have not heard from them at all since. Escalation to the "concern team" seems to be a complete black hole.
There is clearly a real, helpful, person running tier one support, and apparently nobody else at all at this company when tickets are escalated.
If you actually want to keep your data - don't bother
If you actually want to keep your data, don't bother. NextArray use disks that are either really cheap or just crappily made, they fail after so long and always have really high power-on hour values - mostly Seagate stuff. Disks have failed on me twice now, one being replaced and then we got new disks from them and a RAID5 array setup by a staff member (which failed because it wasn't setup properly) and actually lead to the second dataloss when we actually just had our partition table wiped.
Response times on tickets take forever but once you've got them usually the issue is resolved within like 72 hours or whatever.
Maybe just don't go with them, avoid.
Total scam / waste of time and money
Total scam, be carefull, credit card process charges you but they claim its not, your bank wont revers that transacction so thats on my ... should know from there.
Any server will be up only for one or two days after that all will be problems.
Server wont boot on for long times,
Server will lost conection every 14 hrs for arround 8 or 12 hrs and will be back online for a few hours
Support takes 24/48 to attend urgent tickets and they think getting a server online its not urgent so
then they will just stop answering till your account be delete ... make sure not leave any CC on they recors ...
HORRIBLE.
BEWARE. HORRIBLE COMPANY.
My experience with NextArray has been nothing short of absolutely HORRIBLE.
Summary:
Their platform had a glitch that erased my VPS and Snapshots due to a "Glitch" in their billing/management software (even though I recently pre-paid a year for multiple VPS servers) and their support team does not seem to have any plans for resolving the matter in any reasonable way that would recover the data or make up for the thousands lost in developer fees and potential-clients loss.
More details:
We purchased additional snapshot storage and created snapshot backups for our VPS.
While restoring a snapshot, there was a "Error" message on the NextArray platform that erased my entire VPS and snapshots. Screenshots of NextArray admitting this as a "Glitch" on their platform is attached to the review left on their google business listing when you google "NextArray, LLC". I would add it here although there's no upload option.
My original support ticket was ignored for about a week, after following up multiple times. I finally got in touch with somebody named Richard Adams via Discord after posting a complaint about being ignored for a week(and the complain was deleted from discord almost immediately, I wonder how many more complaints they delete)
Richard is listed as the company's CTO(Probably the owner) and promised a 24hr response from the dev team.
The team was absolutely unhelpful and has been mostly unresponsive with zero sympathy. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I followed up with a message to Richard asking for an ETA on data recovery on 11/18 (two days ago) and have been ignored.
The support staff is forwarding my issue to the "Concern Team" which based on my experience of originally being ignored for a week, feels to be their way of saying "We don't care and plan to ignore you"
I am sharing this experience in hopes that others can avoid the potential of experiencing the same loss.
So again, BEWARE. I would hate to hear of anyone else having their Website, VPS, AND Backups erased completely while having to deal with a useless "customer service" team.
I've had a very stressful week caused by NextArray.
I can't wait to read their corporate cleanup reply asking me to send them an email as if they cared or would compensate my loss, acting as if their horrible handling of customer service matters is abnormal, possibly trying to blame it on me even though my screenshot proves otherwise... or even best, maybe they ignore this hoping it goes unnoticed although it won't be ignored as I share my experiences on every platform possible so that people like you reading can ask yourselves if using NextArray would be worth the risk of going through a similar experience that I am going through.
What wasn't wrong
What wasn't wrong? Initial ticket was opened and it took them over 3 days to give a response. I run a hosting company myself and make sure to response within 5minutes of a ticket being made. 3 days is absurd. I paid for colocation and the server has been at the DC for about 3 days now and I have yet to hear anything from them. Overall terrible support.
Obviously I had to ship the rails however regardless whether the rails were there or not they still had 24 hour response times on tickets and insist on charging you a boatload of money for the littlest of things such as:
$150 for an immediate derack fee
$150 for immediate hands on fees (Yes this includes pulling a power cord and plugging it in)

A cheap buying experience requires patience in communication.
I bought it when they replaced the backend panel for the first time on their website. After the purchase, the internal network IP displayed by the IP has no external network IP address. After I opened a ticket to ask, the server was recreated after about 28 hours, and this time it showed up fine. Not bad overall, after all I got a year of service for less than $10, you can't expect more at this price point.
Scam
Bought a server with a service inside, never received it and he closed our account without a reply or notification, richard the owner is an entire idiot.
His support more.
100% Scam, ill report it to all italy banks and his banks
Good job
Update: The company is also a lier, saying i was using to for spoofing and is absolutely not true, he said in chat that servers works also for spoofing but we don't need that, so they are selling illegal products.
