This service worked for about 2 months…

This service worked for about 2 months after I bought it. Then I noticed I was getting no more online referrals from it because it was not functioning. I cancelled my service last month and they keep billing me. The representative said I would just have to renew my subscription and send them my $293.15 monthly service fee, which I do not want to do.
If you use their booking service with my dental software, it keeps sending the same people notices over and over, which does nothing but drive away business.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

In late October 2025, I met with NexHealth sales representative Christian Nelson and was led to believe that NexHealth’s scheduling software would integrate with my clinic processes and manage appointment availability. This functionality was material to my decision to sign the agreement.

During a subsequent kickoff meeting with a NexHealth developer, I was informed for the first time that NexHealth cannot block time on my clinic’s Outlook calendar, meaning the software cannot integrate with my existing scheduling workflow. This critical limitation was never disclosed prior to purchase.

Upon learning this, I immediately stated that the product would not work for my clinic. No development, implementation, onboarding, or operational services were performed beyond two introductory meetings.

Despite providing no usable service, NexHealth is insisting on charging three months of fees. These charges are unfair and represent payment for services not rendered and for a product that was materially misrepresented.

We have used Nexhealth for the past…

We have used Nexhealth for the past year. When it works, it works well. However, the service is down for several weeks every two months. This is frustrating, and customer service is very slow to fix the issue.

We do not recommend NexHealth

As a managing co-founder of a busy podiatry practice, I’m sharing our experience with NexHeath.

We engaged with NexHealth with optimism- their platform seemed like a promising fit. After a week-long wait to meet with their integration engineer, we discovered a core limitation: the system does not allow patients to make partial payments unless the balance exceeds $1,000. This was an immediate deal breaker for our financial workflows.

We informed their team right away, before onboarding or integration ever began. Despite this, and despite no services being used, our requests for a refund were repeatedly deflected. Instead of honoring our good-faith efforts, NexHealth is now enforcing a three-month contract and intends to charge us twice more for a product that does not serve us.

To my peers in healthcare: be cautious. I believe that ethical companies honor mismatches when they become clear- especially in service-based industries where the stakes involve patient care and overburdened medical staff. In this case, the refusal to issue a refund is not just a business decision; it reflects a values misalignment.

I share this to advocate for transparency, fair dealing, and mutual respect in healthcare tech partnerships.

After being a loyal Dentrix customer…

After being a loyal Dentrix customer for over 15 years, I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the recent experience we've had. We paid over $6,000 for the software initially and invested more than $115,000 in equipment — all to ensure we qualified for the necessary licensing.

Now, out of nowhere, we receive an email claiming Dentrix is installed on more than the allowed 10 workstations and 1 server, and that we must pay $260 per additional workstation. I called Henry Schein to get clarity, and the representative I spoke to was rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was instead sent an email from a nameless “Senior Finance CSR” who stated that on April 15th, our card on file will be charged — no discussion, no options, just a threat to bill us.

This kind of aggressive and heavy-handed approach is unacceptable — especially for long-time customers who have already made a significant financial commitment to the platform. Dentrix used to be a trusted name in dental software, but this experience has completely changed my perception.

If you’re considering Dentrix, I would strongly encourage you to think twice. Their licensing practices feel like a cash grab, and their customer service leaves much to be desired.

The Ultimate Upgrade for Dentrix Users

Using Dentrix often feels like trying to drive an old, clunky car—unreliable, inefficient, and frustrating. Enter NexHealth, the high-tech GPS that turns our Dentrix experience from a bumpy ride into a smooth, enjoyable journey.

It’s like getting the best of both worlds—keeping our existing system while enjoying the benefits of a superior, modern interface. NexHealth truly transforms the outdated, frustrating experience of using Dentrix into an efficient and streamlined process. (for all new practices, dont even get dentrix, explore otger options!)
