I wondered why my plate did not have any enquires, then checking their site I see that they are asking well over double what I was asking for, total rip off.....
AND your reply makes no sense as when I log in it says my asking price is £4000 NOT over £10000 you were advertising, obviously your system is rubbish as well...

Our notes show that since then we have spoken to you on numerous occasions by telephone and email and so have updated our records internally. This won't have changed anything on your online account.***
On 13th August 2018 you told us you wanted £15,000 then on 17th August you reduced to £10,000. We spoke to you again in July 2022 and you confirmed £10,000 was still your asking price.
We were listing the number at £10,990 so allowing for just less than 10% commission which I'm sure you can agree is not unreasonable. And not a "total rip off"!
If you have reduced your asking price since 2022 you haven't told us so we weren't to know!
Upon receiving your email earlier today we removed the number from our website but if you would like to confirm an up to date price we are more than happy to re-list it for you.
A trustworthy company
We sold our cherished number plate through New Reg. Phil and Rachel were wonderful. We were apprehensive to hand over ownership of the number plate without receiving payment first. It was a considerable amount of money involved. Unfortunately it's a sign of the times in which we're living. Hard to tell if a business is legitimate or a well conceived scam. New Reg is absolutely a legitimate business and am so pleased we sold the number plate through them.

Very poor and frustrating experience …
Very frustrating experience with New reg ltd.
They advertise vehicle registrations that they simply don’t have available for sale. It’s misleading and a waste of time! I spent days researching and getting my hopes up, only to find out that the reg advertised was not their stock or never even existed in the first place. The lack of transparency and misleading marketing are unacceptable. If you’re looking for vehicle registration, avoid this company, they simply can’t deliver on their promises. Very disappointing and unprofessional!

We're sorry that one of the numbers we were listing wasn't available.
We list millions of numbers on our website. Some are our own stock but the majority are listed on behalf of their owners.
We rely on these private sellers and traders to let us know when a number has been sold by themselves or withdrawn from sale. We also rely of sellers giving us the correct information in the first place.
The number you enquired about was one that a private seller had submitted via our website. At the time they passed our validation checks by confirming the vehicle make, tax and MOT status along with the registration number's validation character.
However, when we received your enquiry in October last year we contacted the seller only to be told they had no recollection of ever owning the vehicle or number. We therefore contacted a trader who was also listing the number but after allowing a few days they had no further information so we removed it from our list and advised you straight away.
Whilst we are truly sorry for any disappointment we do remind you that all numbers are listed on our website subject to availability and we cannot and do not guarantee the availability of any number.
