I would strongly advise anyone considering New Century Cabs to think twice before booking.

I booked an 8-seater for 5 passengers with 8 large suitcases and 4 small bags, and everything was confirmed. Unfortunately, one of our small bags broke on the day we were flying, so we replaced it with a medium-sized suitcase. I contacted the company immediately to let them know about this very minor change.

To my surprise, I was told we would now need two taxis. I asked them to provide a price for two vehicles, which they agreed to do. Instead, they cancelled my original 8-seater booking and told me to book with another company.

Communication throughout was extremely poor. The person I spoke to on the phone and via WhatsApp could barely speak English, making it very difficult to understand what was happening or resolve the issue. The lack of professionalism and customer service was extremely disappointing.

I also noticed that I had booked the taxi for £89, but the same journey was showing as £62 on their website. When I asked them to confirm why there was a difference in price, they never responded. That, combined with the cancellation, makes me question whether the pricing was also a factor.

Cancelling a confirmed airport transfer on the day of travel over such a small change in luggage is completely unacceptable. Thankfully, I was able to find an alternative at short notice.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. Be very careful before booking.

Booked the cab the day before. When they didn't arrive I called to enquire but had the phone put down on me several times. If you require a reliable service then DO NOT use this company

The driver was 30 minutes late to collect at Heathrow and refused to go the quickest route and opted for the shortest. A journey that should have been 1 hour ended up being 1.5 hours.

I booked a journey online only to have it cancelled the following day an hour or so before I was due to travel. No explanation, no apology. I see from the other reviews that this is a common occurrence.

I was abroad in HK and booked their taxi for Heathrow Airport pick-up. It was easy and received email confirmation immediately. The day of arrival, I was contacted by the driver after landing and he was patiently waiting for us at the pick up area. He even offered cleaning wipe to clean hand in car to ensure every parties feel safe. The driver is polite and kind. The car is comfortable and clean. I think they offered a good service and competitive price.

Don't even think about using these clowns. They will quote you one price and then call you back and double or triple it.

They need to have their licence removed by Brent or Harrow council. They are a disgrace.

These people are incapable of telling the truth or providing any level of customer service.

I booked an executive taxi for a short trip to Northwick Park Hospital 1 mile away for a 92 year man to get to an appointment 18 hours beforehand. They accepted it and confirmed the order with a price. 4 hours later they called back and said that rather than 10 pounds it would be 25 pounds.

They blamed a "glitch" in their website.

Two days late the glitch remained despite them claiming they had resolved it. I screenshotted the continuing low price and sent it to them showing them to be abject liars.

Clearly there is a deliberate policy to deceive people and bait and switch them with the low price which then increases when people have little time to arrange alternatives.

Booked this company online through Beeline 4 days in advance for a short journey from Airbnb accommodation to an appointment just over a mile away because my husband who is elderly walks slowly and I knew we would only have a few minutes to drop of our luggage and leave for the appointment, hence booking a car.
Company rang just as I started a 3-hour drive to the accommodation to cancel because they had a more lucrative airport run! Told me to find someone else, but didn't even suggest an alternative. We had to walk and were late. They then emailed to cancel the return trip late at night, probably for the same reason, but didn't bother to tell me that bit verbally.
They should not have accepted the job from Beeline. They had plenty of time to tell Beeline and us that they didn't want the job.
Don't book them unless it's an airport run or longer, expensive trip.

Useless company! Booked them for an early airport run 3.15am pick up. Get a phone call 15 minutes before the pick up time to say the driver has broken down and the only alternative was to wait an hour, if I had of waited I’d of missed my flight. I refused and requested another car, they said they couldn’t do that and hung up. To top it off they cancelled the return journey pick up out of spite as I wasn’t happy about them leaving me stranded. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

This is the worst taxi car service that I have ever used in my life. They are constantly very late and unreliable, very arrogant and rude. They made me late for work and have at times cancelled my booking when I had very urgent hospital appointments to attend numerous times. They are not cheap at all, but rather expensive in comparison to other local cabs in my area.

I am happy to say that I shall never be using this cab office ever again.

Was concerned when I saw the 1 star reviews here but my trip went very smoothly. Received an email confirmation the day before and an sms with a GPS tracking link about an hour before. Knew exactly when the driver was arriving.

Drive was smooth and pleasant.

Process was perhaps a little confused because the email confirmation called itself a payment link when I had book to pay cash, but just paid the driver in cash at final destination. No problem.

Absolutely disgusting.Booked for Xmas day to and from family near Amersham.Outward trip was fine.Confirmed return for 9,pm as had elderly mother with me who subsequently felt unwell so needed to get home.Confirmed job but when I rang at 8.30pm was told that driver had been on way but then had an emergency and had no drivers available.Had to then find a local company who charged alot more and had to wait an extra hour to be picked up.will never use this company again and they should be struck off.Extremely annoyed.

Booked 4 days in advance for an important event. Received telephone call 5 minutes before arranged pick up time to say they didn’t have a driver, therefore, job will be cancelled.
To say I was angry was an understatement, will never book with them again. Very unprofessional 🤬

Booked the day before and got confirmation, they cancelled 45 min before not leaving me enough time to book with another service. Their excuse was ‘it’s the school run’ I had a film crew waiting for me. They also said it was because it’s an online booking and the didn’t see it until the morning… it was booked in the afternoon the day before AND confirmed.

Do not use, unreliable and likely to let you down. I booked a taxi for Saturday night the Tuesday before, and called to confirm with them again on Thursday. Everything fine and e-mail confirmation received.
Taxi never arrived, so called them. Told they were unable to take my booking and had cancelled. If not for Uber, I would have been left stranded!
