I’m booked the taxi at 2.30 am from home to coach station, It never arrived. When I called, they said it would be late but couldn't say for how long; I had to wake my wife up to drive me to the bus. Never using this company again.

Having gone through a rough family situation I've used these guys 3 times over the weekend to get back forth to the hospital and they are positively the best company I have ever used. Arrive within minutes and all 3 drivers have been nothing but amazing to talk to at a difficult time. Helped me really take my mind off things for 40 minutes. They are definitely the company to use in Plymouth and to all the drivers I've met so far. Thank you

Ordered a taxi at 13:02 for a taxi for 6 people at 15:30. Was told if there was a 6 seater available they would send that or 2 taxis. Stood outside the property and had to phone to find where the taxi was which was late. Told no such booking was made and the phone was put down .

From booking to getting me where I want to be is text after text , I recieved 9 text messages , one after the other it’s too much! I wrote a review before , at their request and mentioned how annoying this is and the response was what can we do to improve ? Stop spamming us with numerous text messages !

I booked a taxi to get me to an appointment. Gave myself 30 mins. The driver was awful. Drove past me twice, talking on his phone, not even looking for the address. I was stood on the doorstep. Then he went into a pub car park, then parked up the road. No letting me know he's there, so I could have said you're in the wrong place. He eventually pulled up and I had 1 min to get to my appointment. So I said you drove past me twice, I'm gonna be late, so I'd appreciate you being quick. Then he sat there fiddling with his phone . His name is Amin. Very unprofessional. Doesn't seem to know how to get to places. Then he said let's just call it £8. I said I've already paid. Then I was charged £7, so Why's he asking for more? He Then called me darling. I'm a man, he can see my name. It's not a girls name. Just needs to learn how to be a bit more professional. Terrible. I have deleted the app and will use a better company.

Excellent service.
Communication was brilliant.
Cab arrived quickly.
Driver was extremely kind & helpful. I needed to go to hospital and he was a star.... he went and got wherlchair and took me to reception.

It appears to be a pattern here. Advanced booking absolutely pointless. Booked last night for afternoon and taxi was almost an HOUR LATE. Excuse after excuse, and apologies with more attitude than sincerity. Time to try someone else.

Once again my disabled brother is waiting for his taxi from my house… (Im disabled) !!

Last time I waited an hour !!! This time over 50 minutes already !!!! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !!!!

Need a cab! A thoroughly dispiriting, wholly upsetting and frankly not good enough experience. Don’t bother with them, they will let you down possibly in the worst way possible, timing is not their strong suit which should be page 1 for an any transport company!
I work as a nurse in Derriford and had a long day shift scheduled on Christmas Day. Our managers book the taxis for us. In the morning pick up I had a text confirming the type of vehicle and time of pick up. All went smoothly, I was dropped at my place of work to start my long shift on time. The trouble started after the 12 hour shift finished and it was time to head home on Christmas Day evening. I rang them at 19:00 as I hadn’t yet received the text stating the type vehicle, time of pick up. I was told on the phone by this chap that be outside by the main entrance at exactly 20:30, no later. And when I asked I haven’t received the text confirming this, his response was you won’t, the driver will call me by our names. Which to me was a bit odd but I went with it, I was out of the hospital as instructed just before 20:30! To my horror no one was calling my name. Other nurses were being picked up but not because their names were being called out but because they were going upto a line of parked taxis and asking if it’s for them. So I started walking upto taxis and asking if they were for me but one of the drivers suggested that all booked taxis have been cancelled! He did not provide further explanation. One of the nurses waiting and bewildered like me was actually heavily pregnant! Waiting and starting to feel dejected I rang them at 20:47, the same chap as above answered, he asked for my details again and then he told me the system required you to be out at 20:30 and the driver came and went at 20:34 and I was not there which is completely untrue. Unless I had the Harry Potter cloak of invisibility on and he shouted my name and never saw me. I also asked this chap on the call why did I not get a call from the driver, to which he repeated the ‘you need to be outside at 20:30’ line and I wanted to reach out through the phone and shout that I was . Then he offered that I book out of my own pocket another taxi which won’t be there for a while. So at that point I was so desperately annoyed at the situation that I decided to walk in the cold and the dark to my home where my friend was waiting with Christmas dinner, which had gone leather boot cold by the time I got home. So thank you Need a cab for this unforgettable experience, never will you ever have my custom again!

I had a works xmas meal at Lanterns at 19.00, booked a taxi via the app almost a week in advance knowing it would be busy. Called a few days before to confirm booking. Taxi hadn't turned up at time requested (6.40pm) so called at 6.45pm to say my booking would be prioritised. Why was it not prioritised beforehand since I had booked in advance? Still no taxi at 7pm (was supposed to be at my meal at 7pm) so called again. Was told a taxi would be dispatched as soon as one was available. I booked in advance to try and avoid this situation, knowing it would be busy. Should have just got an uber. Got an uber home and was with me within 10 mins. It's no wonder more people are using uber! Couldn't fault the taxi driver, she was lovely. Just a shame about the service. Will be using uber from now on.

Took my booking, booking was updated to say running late. Booking was updated again to say driver was on way, reg and name of driver etc. driver was showing as 6 mins away.
Booking was then just cancelled by them. No alternative offered.
Obviously left me high and dry.
Shocking service

I was very unhappy with the Driver we dropped my daughter of at vicarage gardens then went to the roundabout by the bridge went round and went on to the bypass I was going to Berwick avenue instead of coming of at the 1st junction which would of taken us unto crownhill road he carried on to the crownhill turn off and came that way which put the price up by over £3 usually if you take the 1st junction it about £16-70 going the crownhill way it was £20-70

I booked a taxi the day before for aroun 9am next morning, never arrived, no notifications to let me know that taxi is not available. I had to call the service to ask where is my taxi, I was told as soon as one becomes available they will send me one. Absolutely appalling service. Just don't book from this service provider. Don't waste your time.

Couldn't get a cab from my usual company on a busy Friday afternoon so I phoned Needacab. Cab arrived promptly and zi could track it on my phone. Nice car and friendly professional driver. I will definitely use this company again.

Try to book a cab Wednesday 20th got told I was banned for booking taxis in booked , yet every cab i booked i have used and never missed one , on the 18th when I used this company I wasn't banned than , I will never use this company again .

This company robbed me of money. Had to pre pay £21.50 and received a txt saying my taxi has arrived. Myself and partner had been stood waiting for half an hour in the taxi pick up area prior to the booking trying to sort our shopping out and not a single taxi came by I called to ask where my taxi was and was told someone had taken it and if I wanted another taxi I had to pay more money for another taxi and for a refund I’d have to email the company and wait for reply. Someone did call me back and told me he didn’t know what the other guy was on about but the service is stupidly poor don’t book your taxis with this company 👍🏻

The two drivers that delivered need a cab customer service were exceptional! clean cars, super attitude and well balanced hosts, yes hosts representing need a cab brilliantly, thank you guys!
Made what could have been a frustrating day enjoyable

Bad driving. Like being on the Dodgems. Overcharged took long route. Company not interested in my complaint. Didn’t get refund. People I spoke to couldn’t care less. Won’t use them again.

Most unhelpful from first three telephone conversations. Booked a medical appointment for my 80 year old wife. Asked to pay when car arrived at our house, which the operator agreed. They confirmed by text , but never came to us. When no show after ten minutes, called the company and they said as we had not paid THEY had cancelled the booking without informing us. In addition, the company representative was extremely rude. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I rang to book a taxi for the next day to go to the airport but the Operators attitude was not acceptable. She blamed me for not speaking properly when I used the phonetic alphabet and she still could not understand my postcode. Not a great start to our holiday so we hung up and went with Uber.
