Avoid this company at all costs! They operate deceptively, never sending us a contract, and later renewing it for a second time without any notification. When confronted, they claimed that cancellations must be sent via post, making it unnecessarily difficult. Their customer service is unhelpful and consistently dishonest. We are now taking legal action against them.
Stay away!

The worst company.

Awful customer service, they miss collections, don't arrange replacements and don't respond. All their team are focused on is trapping clients into 3-5 year contracts with unfair and hidden contract terms.

Their response to raising disputes:

'If you believe these terms to be excessive why did you not negotiate at the time before signing rather than challenge them when it does not fall favourably with your request? If you have failed to adhere to the contract terms and are unhappy with the successive periods you have entered the blame lies solely at your door for not acting accordingly to prevent this.'

STAY WAY CLEAR!

Another person scammed. We believed we were signing a 12 month contract. The sales representative never informed us it automatically rolled onto a 3 year contract that they will charge hundreds of pounds to end it if no longer required. It's written so small in the fine print that once we were caught out we had to enlarge the document to see it. Avoid at all costs they are cowboys who deliberately misrepresent their terms.

Don’t work with them, they tided me up to a contract and lied to me by email when i signed up with them.
Simply going to escalate this contract to lawyer now

This company is scammer and never go with this company you would regret they are scammer nation wide waste service is got contract with them and agree a proce of £16 per collection fortnightly they had just one bin collection and tried to take over £100 from my account when i realised I cancelled the DD and never paid i sent them email and contracted them no response back but I got a letter from them to pay £426.38 other wise they would take legal action against me this is total disgusting and they proved they are scammer never go with this company you would regret shame on this kind of companies

Not had a collection for three weeks. Have emailed NWS and they have just ignored me, telephoned to escalate complaint didn’t even bother to call me back, rude and complete useless customer service. Go elsewhere for you refuse collection.

I recently experienced extremely poor customer service and was sent the wrong invoice by the company. When I raised the issue with them, they were unapologetic and offered no solution. I strongly advise against using their services.

Nationwide waste services ltd have gone down hill dramatically since thee start of 2024. They have been my wast collection provider for several years but this year they have failed on all my sights continuously. When you ask to talk to a manager regarding the problems your advised they will call back but never do. When they promise they will remove charges for over weight charges and fail collection they don't and wont pass you through to credit control again promised a call back but never happens !!! Avoid this company at all costs

Be very careful of what you sign up for because its not straightforward or easy to give notice and cancel an agreement once you sign, they want 3 to 5 months notice and you cant give notice unless its exactly 3 to 5 months before the end date, you cannot send a letter by email to cancel it has to be to head office, who's to know they have received notice, absolute nightmare, especially if you are a busy person, i'm on holiday in August, hopefully I will remember

Our bin has not been collected for six weeks! Despite emails, telephone calls, etc. and promises, they have not collected / emptied our bin. Now we can't get through on the phone - no answer, not even an answerphone! Avoid!

Great response on email to organise collection, great service from team on arriving on site. Very happy.

We had a 1 off pick-up yesterday and the guys were really friendly, helpful and made sure all the rubbish was cleared and left the area tidy.

I received nothing but first class service from Nationwide, fast and efficient service when requesting duties and excellent work form the lads that came to site, they were extremely friendly and really worked hard
