Most of the time I am thrown a bunch of videos to watch to solve the issue. That is not always the most effective support. Sometimes you get the right tech who will go the extra mile and take care of it for you. I just had that experience, and it took out all the frustration in my issue. Consider helping out and then sending instructions on how it was done; some of us want to learn without the frustration of trying to figure it out when we are already frustrated. Thank you!

Excellent and speedy customer support
I've only been with Namecheap a couple of days but customer support is second to none in my experience. They investigated and solved a couple of understandable glitches with a domain transfer and SSL certificate. Last time I chatted with support the initial bot said it would be about 15 mins as I'd hit a busy time - it only took a minute or two for an expert to respond. I appreciate the warning that it might take time, and my expectations were exceeded.

Be warned! No support - site disappeared
I upgraded to "Premium DNS" and my site disappeared. I emailed support (the only way to contact them) and they told me to send the security PIN and also my username. I did this and they told me that the security PIN was expired, even though it was the current one and i sent them a screenshot including the time and date on my computer. So basically you can't get support if your site goes down, I don't know if they are doing this deliberately or just don't want to help me as I proved I had followed their steps and they have declined to help based on the above. I have been left with nothing and have no website, despite paying for the Premium Upgrade to renew my site.

Do not be fooled by the low introductory prices. Namecheap has devolved into a frustrating and unreliable provider. What started as an affordable option for domain registration has become a nightmare for hosting and account management. Namecheap is working for Ukraine and Israel. Shame on them.
