Vue portal is down, cannot refund ticket. Live agent takes over an hour and even then it crashes. The worst customer support.

App and website are a disgrace. Can't log in without it crashing on website or app. Can't book seats without it crashing, can't progress with a booking without it crashing.

£30 Out of pocket!

Tried to book £30 of tickets, payment went through, no tickets, VUE denied all knowledge. Customer service was non-existent!!!

I give VUE a wide berth, and go to ODEON instead.

Snide, sarcastic and incompetent

I went to attend a screening of blockbuster hit Avengers: Endgame at the Vue cinema in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth during the school holidays shorty after the film's release. To my surprise there were only two showings (sometimes only one showing) per day. On the day I went with my family, there was a showing at 11.30am and another at 11.30pm. After queueing for 15 minutes to buy tickets, the staff member showed me that the entire 11.30am screening was full, and suggested we all return 12 hours later for the 11.30pm showing. As the film is 3-hours long, the late showing would not finish until 2.30am; thus, it was entirely unsuitable for a work night and so we all left disappointed. Initially I tried to phone Vue to complain about the lack of show times – the automated phone system said I was 27th in a queue, so I quickly abandoned that route. I then wrote to Vue via email to complain that they did not have enough showings for this hugely popular film during the school holidays, and that an 11.30pm showing was not appropriate for working adults, or children. 'Rachel' initially replied with a series of copy and pasted responses, which had nothing to do with my original complaint. I wrote back that her response had not addressed my query. To this I received a thinly-veiled sarcastic response from 'Lewis B' in which he claimed he was "not able to respond in a positive manner" to my complaint and that he was "sorry" that Vue’s "schedules are not suited to [my] availability". Which again, had nothing to do with my complaint, as I simply wanted an acknowledgement that 11.30pm is not a suitable screening for a film on a weekday, that I was disappointed as my family and I were unable to see the film, and also that I had incurred a car parking fee even though we were unable to see the film. I had hoped for some sympathy, or an explanation for why there were so few showings, or perhaps even a voucher to entice me back next time. But no, apparently snide comments count for "customer service". Nice work from your so-called Customer Service Assistants, Vue, you’ve lost a customer.

Often server overloaded and you are counting on a luck to get your tickets

I have made a payment, got a payment confirmation email within seconds, and then I was waiting for ~ 5-10 minutes for a MyVue website to load with a ticket.

Thankfully I've got it on my email, but well I guess their server is overloaded, doesn't use micro-services and MQ, and probably isn't scaled.

Bad devs, probably where senior want to vote about every choice that senior dev supposed to do (so they won't be blamed for anything, as this was a team choice.)

Website broken Yet Again

This time not only was the ordering system broken and locked up at the point of payment. But when I called customer service the recorded message was also broken and you couldn't tell what it was saying.

Someone needs to get a grip on this company and get your tech sorted.

The awful Myvue experience.

The Myvue site is one of the very worst imaginable. Slow, confusing and unpredictable. Password reset emails never get sent, either. The service is only matched by the lacklustre experience when you actually get to the cinema. which starts with intolerably long queues at the concession stands. This company needs completely new management.

I can only assume the CEO of Vue either…

I can only assume the CEO of Vue either lost a bet to the world’s worst web design firm, or perhaps there’s some nepotism involved and their nephew once said at a family reunion “duh I fancy writing me one of them inter web thingys - can I build one for your pitcha houses Uncy Vue?”

Don’t wrestle with this abominable website. Nothing on it works. Just go to a different cinema.

0 stars if I could

This is by far the worst website I have ever used. The forgot password emails seem to be sent out manually judging by how slow they are. And forget about trying to book tickets for a film you want to see

Bag of shi...

For EVERY major release, their website fails, because it can't handle the payment traffic. For at least a year it's been the same... Just invest in your website!! They should hand all their cinemas back to odeon who were forced to give them up by the government due to some bull fair share crap.. More like corrupt back handers
