I have been a customer for almost 13 years. During this time I have ridden a legal ebike and have taken it in for service to the Sandy Bay annually. I have purchased bike safety equipment from this store and thousands of dollars have changed hands over the last decade.
I have found them expensive and often not so knowledgeable or particularly skillful. But they are practically next door from where I live an I have persisted. I have built up a relationship with many of the bike mechanics and that's been acceptable until.
I pick my early ebike up from a brake and safety service to be told by a smart ass that ''we will never service your Ebike again because of our insurance."
Couple of points, they love selling ebikes which are more expensive than your car and saw me as a mark and clearly wanted to force an upgrade.
I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with them.
They are an Australian wide chain shop with bad insurance.
The customer service is arrogant and condescending.
They do not look after long term customers.
They also do not know the ebike law in Tasmania.
