Bought a Xiaomi Smart Band that failed outside MyMemory’s 6-month T&Cs warranty, but far sooner than it should have (less than 2 years), despite very light use and being in excellent condition. I contacted Xiaomi UK, who asked for the serial number to see if they could help. To my surprise, they said the serial number was not recognised in their system and advised me to go back to the retailer.

When I did, MyMemory, email after email, simply repeated that the item was outside their 6-month warranty, offered boilerplate apologies, and ignored my questions about where the stock was sourced and why it isn’t recognised by Xiaomi UK. There was absolutely no effort to support the case or to try to find a solution (repair, replacement, or otherwise).

If this is how they handle a small purchase, I dread to think what would happen with something more expensive. Unacceptable customer service.

I ordered 3 x silver and received 3 x black. Rather disappointed that I DID NOT receive what I actually ordered ! It felt like they were dumping unsold stock.

Memory sticks ordered on-line, came quickly, work well, haven't died yet (you have to be cautious with memory sticks, I have found).
