Brought a few items from here to go with my decor on my house remodelling and its great as there are furniture styles you will not find elsewhere. The only drawback is I feel the items have been over priced.

I used to love all the table mats and runners, cushions, lamps. Now i dont like any of it. Myakka said they stopped purchasing the products i loved as they were too expensive. Not for me, i would pay hundreds for them. Dont even bother to look now, very dissapointed with the shop now

Put off by price hikes - I was going to buy from this company but got caught out when Myakka merged with Ian snow and I was suddenly told the item would be £200 more expensive. No thanks. I wonder how many loyal customers have been stung by what looks to me like blatant profiteering?

I'm not buying from this company again. The duvet set is nice but I now see I was charged way too much as they're now flogging it for £18. Don't make a fool of your customers and expect them back. It's a no from me.

I bought the duvet set with the lovely Indian colours and patterns. It's beautiful and the fabric is thick and weighty cotton. The only problem is it smells really strongly of something - old incense? Ive washed it several times, tried washing in vinegar, hung it out to air.. nothing seems to shift this pong. Everything the duvet comes into contact with gets the scent as well, so I'm a little cautious about having it on my bed, next to my skin.

Beautiful and good quality cushions, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, these cushions are so well made and look like they'll last for years.

Excellent customer service. Beautiful products. Made my house look beautiful. Love looking at the items I've purchased. Will definite recommend myakka :)

I would give no stars if I could. First time purchasing from these people. Their advert encouraged me to buy. The item arrived shoddy. I sent an email immediately but have had no reply. I have sent a message through Instagram and still no reply. I would not be partying with my money again be warned not caring and very bad after service if they do not resound to you.

We have bought many pieces of myakka furniture and furnishings over the years and quality and value for money has been pretty good but the prices since the Snow family took over are extortionate. We paid approx £590 for a new large hathi sideboard with the previous owners but the Snow family are charging £1,329 Products might well be ethical but profit margins are certainly not. That's just one example I could mention. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Wonderful customer service.
I cannot praise the ladies who I spoke to at Myakka highly enough ( and I spoke to them several times) concerning my order of two three drawer columns from the Thakat range. This was not because of Myakka’s performance but because DPD, their chosen carrier, only delivering one of the columns. The lovely ladies went above and beyond to put things right including delivering a replacement for the missing item and bringing it up to our flat which is on the first floor and there is no lift. Unlike the DPD driver who initially refused but came back to announce, very grumpily, that he would carry it up the flight of stairs but no further. Myakka’s customer service was exemplary. DPD’s wasn’t.
P.S. the furniture was very nice too.

Absolutely love my Surin twist and infinity side tables.

They perfectly bring together my pale wood floor and dark brown sofa and are such interesting shapes - now I just need lockdown to be over so I can show them off to people!

They arrived really quickly and I was able to pick a delivery day that suited me.

Set of four tiles
I purchased the set of the four hand painted tiles. They look vibrant and rich in colour in the picture but in reality,they are dull and quite boring. The glaze is questionable as is the hand painting. I would say there is more transfer than hand painting. I am so disappointed as I was so looking forward to getting them. The sides and back are covered in 'fire grate black'....I know it as black lead which is quite pungent smelling. First purchase with myakka and not impressed at all. Not likely to purchase and the delivery was quite slow.

Bought a side table from Myakka's website in Feb 2019 and in April 2020 two woodworm beetles emerged from the table top! (They are inside the wood as grubs for 2-5 years before emerging). I emailed Myakka with photos but had no response! Not happy at all... woodworm can destroy your house! I've treated the table and left it outside for now. Won't be using this company again as the woods that are used are clearly not treated properly.

Amazing costumer service. Sara was a dream. She answered my emails quickly and sorted out all I needed. I'm so pleased with how professional, kind and efficient she was. I will buy again from Myakka for sure as, besides what I wrote above, the furniture is amazing and looks even better than in the pictures.

Bookshelf has nails not straight and coming through the actual shelf. Top is attached very crudely. Very disappointed

We have recently bought a large Haiti sideboard, with carved elephants on the doors. It is an exquisite piece of furniture, very heavy and well made, absolutely delighted.
Also bought a wooden carved lamp and two twisty side tables. Would thoroughly recommend the furniture and it is very different. Very professional company and delivery men unpacked items and put them where we wished as part of the service. Extremely pleased.

Have bought multiple pieces of furniture from Myakka and they've all been great quality. Some of them do mark easily, but applying furniture wax sorts it out.

Really bad service. Firstly Myakka tried to add a delivery charge after I had placed and paid for the item.
Also I expressly asked on day I placed order that the item should not be delivered on dates three weeks after the date of order, as I would be away. I received confirmation same day that delivery would not be made on those dates.
I was told the item had been dispatched, two weeks prior to those dates, which would have meant delivery in good time. Four days later I received notification that delivery would be in period when I had asked that the delivery should not take place. I contacted customer service & they claimed to have no record of me contacting them, despite me having an email confirming delivery would not take place while I was away.

Whole experience has been very stressful, constantly having to contact customer service. Them often not replying. Still don’t know when I will receive my item. Stress has taken away any pleasure we would have had from the item. Not what I would expect, especially when purchasing a very expensive item.

Will not purchase from Myakka again.

Lovely products which have been delivered on time with great communication. Highly recommended.
