Rip Off Merchants AVOID
Made an order and want to return an item not needed. They are refusing a refund even though that is against online trading laws. Foreign telephone number for customers services. Badly written borderline cut and paste responses offering other goods. I have one of their mats and they are way over priced for what they are. Do not buy from this site. I always usually buy via Amazon as they always adhere to online trading laws. This company is a joke but the laugh is on me this time as they have £42 of mine which they won’t give back.
AVOID
Sophie, from Muddy Paws of Notting Hill, responded to me wanting a dog walker. She is the business owners daughter, yet has put in writing that she thinks dog owners wanting dog walkers are "LAZY, NEGLECTFUL AND DON'T LOVE THEIR DOGS." That's disgusting when she is part of this business. She has also lied and been derogatory about me. I have proof. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
If I could give no stars I would!
If I could give no stars I would!
This company are soo rude to their customers, I dropped my dog off for a groom, (I was told would take 2 hours). Two hours came and went without a call to say they would be longer. He was finally ready after 3 hours and 20 minutes.
When I arrived they charged me £80 instead of £50 because he was "worse than normal" and took them longer, I informed them he was about the same condition as the time before and that it took them 3 hours on that occasion so it didn't make sense.
To then be told he pooed in the cage and they had to bath him twice.
No phone call was given to let me know any of this, and the guy I collected him from blamed me. Told me I didn't take him for a long enough walk before dropping him off.
I would understand if it was a little more money as I have experienced this with other groomers charging more for matting ect. but they call first or discuss extra charges with you when you drop the dog off.
I had informed them when dropping him off that he had two matts behind his ears they said nothing about extra charges!
Absolutely shocking service! Made me feel awful.
Newsflash....Dogs poo sometimes I shouldn't be charged £30 because of it!
Muddy Paws is now Dogs Dogs Dogs.
Hello everyone. I hope you see and read this. This B****** has started another pet company with another business partner. Its called Dogs Dogs Dogs. w w w. dogsdogsdogs .co .uk/
Not sure how but there must be a way to claim any money owed to you from this place. If not slam them with bad reviews. They deserve it.

Hazeldene Copley North Yorkshire
Hazeldene, Copley, North Yorkshire, County Durham border.
We booked this house and we sure weren’t disappointed, not only is it huge, way more room than your average holiday let with no room to to store your suitcase let alone stretch your legs, oh no this house has oodles of space, our daughter loved it and if a teenagers happy you can bet her parents are bound to be.
The rooms are well furnished and it was so clean plus the kitchen had everything you could possibly want a real home from home.
Yes it’s a bit off the beaten track but with so many walks all around it and such easy access to any visitor area it ticked five boxes for sure.
We will be going back.

Crooks
I ordered stuff in january and still have not received this, I had been chasing via emails and telephone calls and just realised that they must be out of business what a bunch of crooks to rob all these poor people I have also lost out too, luckily I managed to get the two coats I had paid for, but still missing a few other items so they have my money and I have no goods, Absolutely disgusting.
Ordered a dog seat cover on May 31st…
Ordered a dog seat cover on May 31st 2017. Phoned every month to chase. Got repeated answer, chasing American suppliers. Product due in, in a couple of days. By October 2017 asked for refund £63.74, promised that would happen and thanked me for my patience. Hoped I would order from then again and started receiving their product emails. Exactly a year later, no seat cover and no refund.
Paid for coat
Paid for coat, never received item or refund. No response to communications apart from initial "we'll look into it". Poor effort.
poor excuse for a company
I didn't realise they had gone out of business and now I am stuck with a useless coat that is poor quality and torn. This company never answer emails or telephone calls and are basically a waste of space. I bought a coat which took months to receive and no explanation when I contacted them. Now it is torn (after 4 wears) and they said I could send it back once I'd sent photos. I sent photos and nothing - no reply. What a shambles!!!

Muddy paws insolvency!
So: just as other reviewers have said, product ordered, chased, refund agreed but never made. Original order made January 4th 2018, and despite many promises still hasn't been made.
So, after reading this site yesterday I contacted the Cab, who pointed me to the insolvency service, (it seems that this company entered into insolvency on 27/04/18.)
They pointed me to an insolvency practitioner. (Peter Hall)
I am informed that there will not be any payments made to customers (unless you paid via PayPal or your credit card company/bank will help (which mine will not as it has been more than three months since I paid for the dog bed which never arrived).
It seems that an assessment has been made and the remaining money will be paying the insolvency practitioner.
So, I, like many others will be out of pocket (£114:96!) Three verbal promises and emails assuring me that my money will be paid, and it will not happen.
I am not terribly informed about this sort of issue, but am told that even court proceedings will not help as insolvency supercedes any other course of action.
So, given the number of people who are in the same unfortunate and unfair situation as myself, I thought I would provide an update.
Many months into the future, a part of the insolvency process will be an investigation into the company directors behaviour. This could result in a previous life ban on future directorships: however this is of no use or interest to me.
I, like so many other people have been patient. All to no avail really.
Appeared to have gone out of business
Appeared to have gone out of business! Sickeness first then staffing shortage then phone line stopped working. Spoke to owner several times to follow up on the delivery and no mention of any issues. Scam!
Scammed me
Scammed me - I even spoke to the owner when my order didn’t arrive - He was as nice as pie but laughing all the way to the bank with MY money
I have been a loyal customer of…
I have been a loyal customer of Muddypaws for about 4 years.
I ordered 2 luxury dog beds in February and after they failed to arrive, I eventually tried to call to check what had happened to them. I had great difficulty getting through, but eventually tried another number and Rupert who had taken the order in the first place, answered. He apologised and said that it had been overlooked and he would see that it was sorted out for me. I asked tentatively if it would be 10 days and he said “Oh I hope it won’t be that long”. As I had complete confidence, I did not suspect that he could be acting fraudulently, however as my goods have still not arrived and my message sent also has not been answered I realise now having seen all these reviews that I have been conned!
COMPANY HAS CEASED TRADING
COMPANY HAS CEASED TRADING! Woohoo! Whether this was their decision or they were shut down by Trading Standards who knows, but they are no longer trading. Such good news that they can now no longer rip people off by taking their money and not providing goods and then subsequently no refund.
I would advise anyone who hasn't received a refund from this company to pursue it with their credit card company or bank, whilst it takes a little time and effort (by having to provide proof of payment, emails sent etc) atleast you might get your money back.
Let's hope these idiots don't just set up another company under another name and start trading again, I guess we should all be on guard, maybe call the company first and ask if a Rupert Brown works there LOL!
