My experience with support was great. I got exactly what I needed, in a timely manner (even though I had to submit an online form and didn't get instant gratification of resolution while online), and didn't get a big hassle over the request. I also couldn't find a resolution to my problem in the FAQ's, which was frustrating. My activation key couldn't be removed from a laptop that had crashed, and I had no access to that laptop.
Overall it's a solid platform. The cost of the platform is a little expensive for someone who uses it occasionally, and I'd like to see the cost of effects go down, as well as MORE effects to choose from. But, the platform works well. There is learning curve, but once you get past that, it's pretty easy. I've been able to make videos that are fairly impressive.

Poor customer service. They stole my money after the program I bought put a water mark throughout my entire recording. They refused to give me a refund after I provided proof the activated code still added the watermark.

Misleading, they pose as CapCut through aggressive SEO advertising. The overall experience of the software itself is also very poor. It cannot compete with CapCut or other editing software.

The software itself is fine, but my experience with billing and cancellation has been extremely disappointing.
I received an auto renewal notice and went straight to cancel my subscription. I am confident I completed the cancellation, yet I was still charged £158.
I contacted customer support immediately, before activating the licence or using the product, but received a generic refusal to refund. This is particularly frustrating given how quickly I raised the issue and the fact the product remains unused.
After this happened, I looked into other reviews and found a consistent pattern. Many customers report confusion around the cancellation process and unexpected charges despite believing they had cancelled. That raises serious concerns about how clear and fair their system really is.
At this point, I feel misled as a customer. I will be escalating this matter further, as I do not believe this reflects fair or transparent business practice.
Update: After reviewing a large number of similar experiences, I am now considering reporting this to Trading Standards due to concerns around the cancellation and billing process. I have contacted support and received the same boiler plate refusal to refund reply as many others in a similar situation.

This company is the most annoying, making it super hard to cancel auto renewal charges. I cancelled everything but they just found a new way to charge for a free addon which i couldn't cancel beforehand. Also email after email of suposed bought products I didn't buy. Do not recommend. There are multiple other reviews here stating similar experiences. The positive reviews are probably fake or bought.
It's obvious their business model is forcing you to buy as much as possible and making it as hard as possible to cancel.
EDIT: Don't be fooled by their response here. They make it infinitely difficult on their website to apply for a refund as well. You get sent around in circles and their actual refund form is nowhere to be found. Support just gives a generic "sorry no can do" answer. SCAMMERS.

I subscribed for the free trial of the video editor, and once i was done with my video I cancelled all subscriptions I had and the auto renewals too.
Then a week later I get 2 e-mails saying that money was taken from my account for the already cancelled subscription and another which I never even used or subscribed to, it was 40 euros in total.
Then I write a support ticket explaining everything with screenshots, and the only thing I get offered is a discount for my next purchase.
Asked for my money back, they didn't give it and even had to argue for them to cancel my subsciptions for me since the cancel subscription button wasn't working on ther webpage...
Horrible webpage too, very hard to find stuff that should only take one button to get to.

I had been struggling with a frustrating export issue for hours, trying everything I could think of without success. I reached out to Movavi support, and they responded quickly with clear and precise instructions.

This is my second time using Movavi for a one time project. I received an email about an auto subscription and immediately cancelled it. Then today I noticed a $52 charge for a SEPARATE subscription called “Effects” which i explicitly unchecked when purchasing the one month. I only wanted a program to help me clip and merge parts of videos for a family event. I am deeply disappointed and slightly disgusted by their business practices. I honestly haven’t encountered a business this unethical in well over a decade. Additionally, after receiving the email that a subscription was renewing one week after signing up, I immediately logged in and cancelled the subscription. Well, well, well… the “Effects” subscription is on a completely separate tab. So not only do they expect you to log in, hit cancel subscription on the first page, but meander along to a separate tab to cancel THAT subscription which you explicitly unchecked when signing up.
Update- I already did what Movavi suggested and their response was to give me an extra month… which doesn’t help me when it was a one time project.

Movavi is a reasonably good tool for editing, however, when you need to cancel your subscription, GOOD LUCK. The website and the "Customer Service" will tell you to go to your account and click "Cancel Auto Renew" but that option does not exist. Chat will not help you. It just says the same thing. You cannot talk to a person. It's a good tool with a built in scam.

I had an issue with Movavi Video Suite 2025 that I purchased last June. I reached out to customer service on Saturday because I was working on a project. I got an immediate response. I explained my issue, they got back to me within an hour, and it was resolved that day. I've never had an issue with any of their programs, this was the first time I reached out to customer service and was very impressed.
