Delivery arrangements very poor. Customer care number in Italy and no response to email queries. Ordered through Mountfield and then local dealer delivered but didn’t take over responsibility. Would have been better ordering directly through local dealer. Lawnmower good!

The plastic pulley for the drive belt fell to pieces after av few months and it took multiple calls and long waits on the phone before getting to a live person in the Stiga call centre in Italy. Messages sent on their website were never answered. Eventually ended up with a different dealer to the one that delivered it. This delaler repaired the mower and returned it but did not seek authorisation to do the repair, which it was said to be due to a stone hitting the pulley invalidating the waranty. My previous Mountfield had metal pulleys and I did not have this problem before. When eventually I got through again to Stiga I was told they was nothing they could/would do.

What do you have to do to get a response from Customers services? I have emailed on numerous occasions over the past couple of months to both Mountfield and Stiga and not once have I had a reply. I completed the website contact form and received a generic 'we will get back to you as soon as possible'... no further response received. I have tried calling on many occasions but it is always engaged... does anyone work there?
My new lawn mower has 2x broken levers from its first use, they need replacing... how do we contact you?

The lawnmower was packaged very well and the delivery was faster than stated.

Received the mower promptly before the scheduled date
As all Mount field mowers it seems well built and sturdy.
I have used it a few times now and works extremely well.
I have had two other Mountfields and have not been disappointed.

Arrived within 5 days. Mower is great. Self propelled. Light. Cuts well. And for me battery lasts (40min cutting). Wish I’d switched sooner.

This is a very good lawnmower. It cuts the grass so well and collects all the cuttings not leaving any behind.

The mower arrived but not all parts were in the delivery. After several calls with customer service I finally got some parts, but not all of the right ones. I’m hoping to send it all back and get a refund. Will not use ever again.

Ordered a £459 lawnmower it came damaged after sitting on hold for over an hour they sent a replacement which has also came damaged and are taking forever to respond to my emails

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I have contacted mount field / stiga multiple times mail chat calls and absolutely no answer - customer service is hopeless. I bought if from them direct 2 years ago and have only used it about 7 or 8 times. It normally won’t start usually and when it does occasionally it runs for 30/40 seconds then cuts out. Can’t get any after sales advice or help.Works out at about £32 to mow my lawn. Don’t buy this brand full stop.

I accidentally ordered the wrong blade for my lawn mower. Contacted the customer service team, who replaced the part free of charge. As it was my error I was more than prepared to return the original blade and pay for the postage. It’s not often you get that level of customer service. I wasn’t aware the parts where shipped from Europe and was then even more impressed at how fast delivery had been for both blades.

From the minute I phoned very helpful member of staff ,he made sure I ordered the right parts and made sure he had them in stock. He said 3 days for delivery and he was spot on,and reasonably priced, many thanks definitely use you again.

Lawnmower was delivered with broken wheel. Took a week to receive replacement. No paper copy of operating manual in box. Downloaded manual instruction unclear.

The lawnmower is great. A little heavy but gives superb cut. The grass box is extremely difficult to put together.

However, Mountfield customer service is appalling. Apart from the fact that the build instructions are awful (in the end I just ignored them and used common sense and previous lawn mower experience), there was a part missing and I've sent 3 emails to Mountfield asking for them to send me the missing bolt - and they haven't even responded, let alone sent me the missing bolt. Leaves me with a negative impression of the company. As soon as they've sold something - job done - er not quite....
