Until today 17th Jan 26 I didn't have any complaints about my Motorola phone, but it did an update and ever since it's been absolutely shocking, downloaded loads of games that I never asked for, plus... See more

Worst experience I've ever had with a phone
If you could leave zero stars I would I wake up once a week to at least five apps that I didn't authorize anyone to put on my phone such an abuse of privacy I definitely do not consent to my data being used for this and if I have it's cuz they tricked me in the small print somewhere and I would like to know how to formally take back these permissions I will never buy another Motorola

There's a lot to like about Motorola's software approach. The clean, uncluttered Android experience is refreshing and performs well, free from the heavy skins of other brands.
Unfortunately, this positive start is often where the good experience ends. The hardware, particularly for more complex devices, seems to lack the durability needed for long-term use. When problems inevitably arise—like hinge failures or sudden screen issues—navigating their support system is a major ordeal. Communication is poor, policies are applied in a way that feels designed to deny claims, and getting a real solution is rare.
It feels like you're buying the software experience, with the hardware and support as an afterthought. For a reliable daily driver where you might need assistance, the risk outweighs the reward. Look elsewhere for peace of mind.

Full device failure after small drop, quoted full replacement
I purchased a Motorola smartphone in September and paid the device off early at full cost (around $400). After a small 2 feet drop off my lap, the phone screen completely failed, despite showing no new external damage consistent with such a catastrophic malfunction.
I sent the device to Motorola for repair under the expectation of warranty service. Motorola later determined the phone was “physically damaged” and quoted the full retail price of the device as the “physical damage” fee, basically requiring me to repurchase the phone. (Mind you, the damage was a small crack on the corner of the phone that was from weeks before. The phone worked fine after this)
Motorola failed to notify me of this decision at all. I only learned that my phone would not be repaired because I called Motorola myself. Had I not called, I would have been left without any information regarding my device’s status. This lack of communication directly impacted my ability to make alternative arrangements, especially as I have upcoming travel within a few days.
Motorola claimed that when a device is sent in, they must “fix everything,” and that any prior physical damage automatically disqualifies warranty repair — even when the reported issue is an unrelated failure. This approach ignores what most people reasonably expect from a phone and treats small cosmetic wear the same as a serious internal defect.
A smartphone at this price point should not suffer total internal display failure from a minimal fall. Quoting full replacement cost under the label of a repair is unreasonable and does not reflect a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue.
Soooo incredibly bad!
Soooo incredibly bad! I ordered a phone and the delivery company they used only attempted one delivery and then took my item to a random shop miles away from my house, nowhere near town/public transport. I attempted to get my item redelivered on numerous occasions but it was never processed and redelivery was never attempted. I tried to contact Motorola using their various contact methods - online chat, WhatsApp and email. All customer service has been astonishingly bad, it would be funny if it wasn't so irritating! I'm now trying to chase for a refund for an item that never arrived and I just keep getting automatic messages telling me completely different information about when the customer service teams are available - and I don't think these are GMT times so no actual idea if anyone will ever get back to me!
Outstanding Customer Service
I purchased a Motorola Moto G Play 2024 phone and struggled with the home screen icons' lack of response. I finally decided to call Motorola customer service at 800-734-5870. My call was responded to promptly, I was asked several questions and then directed to Syndy in tech support. Syndy was so thorough with troubleshooting, with patience, with knowing what she was doing! She remotely worked on my phone and solved the problem. It took much time to solve the problem. I have never before experienced such outstanding customer service with persistence and know-how for solving the problem. I have purchased from Motorola for years. After this experience, I plan to be a loyal customer.
Motorola bad customer service
Purchased a Motorola moto e15 phone and after 3 months it froze and.I got an error message. Took it to retailer and they thought it was a.software.bug and.I had to contact Motorola. Phone nos.not recognised. Their web page chat advising me to phone inaccessable no for shipping label. Customer service non existent. I had to purchase another handset and am attempting to get a refund 9n my credit card. Would strongly advise do not buy a Motorola phone. If I could.give zero stars I would.
Appalling customer service
Their customer service in the UK is virtually non existent. There are no readily available contact numbers nor an email address; their virtual assistant is a joke and they do not respond to customer queries sent through their ''contact us'' page. I've been trying to find a telephone number for their UK HQ but that too seems well hidden. I know I'm echoing all the other reviews on Trust Pilot about this company. I just wish I'd visited TP before buying from this outfit. If anybody knows how to get through to any person at Motorola then please let me know.
Motorola go5
Motorola go5
The crappiest price of shit ever , disguised
As a smart phone ,
In the first place I was miss sold this phone by Tesco I lost my own phone so I needed a cheap smart phone for the time being ,
But I had asked about capabilities namely using Google pay as I prefer just to tap the phone ,
Well low and behold it does not have that capability nor does it function for 5 g
Constant ads every where with no way of blocking them.
It had a massive of various gaming apps which I detest,
I deleted them off the phone and every so often completely new games appear
And I have to delete again
Now 4 months in the battery never lasts
And takes hours to charge.
My advice avoid this crap phone
Horrible and disappointing service. Not fit to sell mobiles in UK.
Horrible and disappointing service. . I brought 2 mobiles and one returned without opening the package and another refused delivery. After 3 weeks no news of refund and customer service got no idea when will I get refund. Don't buy it from Motorola directly. You will struggle to return the item. This one mobile I will never buy again.
I regret with this phone purchase
Are you joking right? Motorola G06 Power only has 4GB RAM despite having 256 GB ROM. No phone can have shockingly bad amount of RAM having top tier storage and good hardware specifications. System is up to date October 2025. It can barely even hold one app running. Nothing keeps in memory and reloads everything no matter what i do. I tried to tweak RAM boost between 4 to 8 GB maximum and seems nothing to do dealing with memory problem. Phone becomes unusable after day or two of use due of constant RAM problem. Not mention phone installs promo apps on it's own and killing off my voice and screen recording when storage and RAM is depleted. It doesn't even hold one page opened in Google Chrome. I want to enter code, opening my mail for code and go back and it's reloading. I want everyone to steer clear from this phone that can remember nothing opened in background. I lost seconds and hours worth of recording which is valuable every second of my life, because voice recording app discarded all entire recording instead of being saved because of full storage, nothing even recovered in raw form at all neither in location like nothing touched
Where is the user manuel
I am not a sophisticated mobile phone user, there are plenty of us!!! I had difficulty using some aspects of
recently purchased Moto Edge 50 Neo. Ultimately rather than constantly looking at online tutorials I really needed a hard copy of the user manuel.
Motorola Australia was contacted and a polite lady advised that Motorola no longer provided hard copies based on consumer concerns on greenhouse effects and wastage of resources. Personally, I believe it’s another cost saving tactic they have employed. Motorola does not even offer a service whereby a
consumer could buy a copy of them and I have been forced to go to a third party who specialises in producing user Manuel’s for all types of products. The phone has some good features but a lot of crap which if incorrectly accessed impacts greatly on the phones core functions. I keep on trying to defend this phone
to friends but forced having to pay an extra $50 for a printed copy the user manuel (which should come with the product if requested) greatly frustrates me.
Less gadget stuff and more core such as a USER friendly essentials.
Denied Repair Warranty for Repeat Hinge Failure — Cosmetic Damage Excuse
I had my Motorola Razr 2025 Ultra hinge repaired about 45 days ago. The same hinge failed again, but Motorola denied coverage under the repair warranty — citing unrelated cosmetic wear as the reason.
This is a repeat mechanical failure of the same part they previously serviced. The cosmetic wear has nothing to do with hinge function, yet they used it to void both the standard and repair warranties.
Support chat deflects to phone, phone reps have no authority, and I’ve been hung up on multiple times. No email support, no escalation path, no accountability.
Motorola’s repair warranty is supposed to protect against the same failure after service. Instead, they apply the same cosmetic damage exclusion as the standard warranty — even if the damage is unrelated.
This feels like a systemic tactic to avoid honoring repairs. I’m filing a BBB complaint and exploring Florida consumer protection options. If you’re considering Motorola, be aware: their warranty support is a dead end.
I thought Samsung was bad . . .
My new phone had a problem. Support e-mails went straight to spam. No phone numbers that work for support and no help. I called their main office and even they couldn't tell me how to access support. I have replaced my phone .. . . and I thought Samsung was bad!

Great deal and fast delivery (within 2 days - in Sweden that's super fast). The website looks good, but unclear info about delivery etc. however the price was so good and then I was surprised about the delivery speed. They should promote their good service better.
They ignore you!
Bought a phone but wanted to cancel it a few minutes later and all I can do is email them. I've emailed them 3 times over a period of 3 days and not once had a reply.
I will never buy from this shop again. Shame as I like motorola phones.
Don't ever buy a Motorola
Don't ever buy a Motorola!
They've put in a system app that pop up commercials. My phone wakes up randomly with some ad and drains battery as the screen is automatically turned on! I'll never a Motorola again that's for sure!
Back to their old ways - awful software support.
Back to their old ways. It has been 3 months without a security patch and no Android 16 in sight (for the Edge 60 Pro / UK). The software and UI are often buggy and filled with ads.
Bought a brand new phone after less…
Bought a brand new phone after less than a week the rubber case that came with the phone started to go brown round the charger port and then the brown colour moved up from the charger port straight up to the camera lenses. Obviously the phone is getting very hot and burning the rubber case and now I'm scared to leave it charging and have to watch it all the time. I reported the problem within 30 days and I go told it's not common problem and I left it. Now I have tried to get it replaced as I'm worried but the customer services is the worst I have ever come across. Now they are ignoring my emails trying to make a claim. Do not buy a Motorola mobile phone if anything goes wrong than you won't get any help. They don't care if your mobile goes on fire and burns the house down.
