Mori-Melbourne / Morris-Melbourne scam

Mori-Melbourne / Morris-Melbourne probably the same company. Poor quality items. The two shoes don't even look the same. Advertise that Trustpilot has over 3400 reviews 4 star. Request a refund, need to ship at your own cost back to China. Purchased through Paypal. No searchable ABN or other actual information. Should have known better.

Deceptive

Same as all the other reviews. After purchasing a dress from Morris Melbourne, I found I had been invoiced by justboxmax.com in Nicosia for the cost of the dress and was invoiced again 3 weeks later for $76 AUD. I had been unwittingly conned into a subscription to access discounted electronic devices. Complained to them about lack of transparency re: subscription but they denied this and refused refund. Never again.
Haven’t received dress yet. Lesson learnt.

It really should be no star at all!

It really should be no star at all!
Deceiving company, advertises in AU$ and at checkout suddenly US$ . I went ahead with the purchase but did not feel right.
Two weeks later still no trackingnumber or item received.
Did look up complaints on net and canceled credit card straight away. And as was reported before they did try and tak e around 70$ dollars out about 10 days later.
Defiantly not trustworthy!
And take extra care as it also operates under many other names for example pipers boutique. Further down I have to choose a date, I am not actually real sure about exact day as Events happened on different days. Somit happened in January, the month is correct

Misleading sale

I bought a dress from them thinking that the price was in Australian dollars as nowhere on their ad is there a mention of any other currency, only to find out, when they sent me the receipt that they actually charged me in USD resulting in the dress being too expensive for me. I asked them repeatedly to cancel the order, they refused to do it, claiming that it was too late and that they were not at fault. This is in spite of their repeated claims online that they have no issues with cancelling orders or returns! I know I have been conned especially by the fact that they pretend to be an Australian company which I suspect they're not.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE. I purchased a dress from what appeared to be an Australian site. Was charged in USD AFTER I had paid, and then they signed me up for a monthly subscription fee of $50USD for a site called Cartgrabs, which appears to sell computer and electronics supplies. The invoice for the dress provides a login for the Cartgrabs website where (IF you read the T&Cs) it tells you that you have a free three day trail and if you don’t cancel it, you’re signed up for the membership fees each month. Managed to email customer services and they confirmed they have cancelled my membership but will not refund the charges incurred as I didn’t cancel within the trial period. SO dodgy and dishonest.

Total scam site

Total scam site. Not Australian, advertises in AUD buy charges in USD plus conversion fee - and the doesn't deliver. Has contact centre but doesn't answer any questions. Based in Cyprus and passes your credit card details to other scammers who suck money out of your account until you cancel your card and go through the hassle of getting a new one, and notifying all your regular debit arrangements. DON'T TOUCH THEM.

Fraudulent website, beware!

I ordered a dress from the website for morris melbourne for $34.95 And got subscribed to paint towel in the uk instead ( and charged $53 aud). They advertised as being in Melbourne Australia, but prices are charged in us dollars. The customer support email from morris melbourne doesn't work, and paint towel won't give me an invoice for the dress, only for a subscription for something I don't want. I suggest that if something is wrong with your order you won't get a refund or return because you can't even contact them (the email bounced back). I wrote a review on the Facebook page for boutique morris, and found several other women who had purchased a dress from the website, and were charged recurring subscriptions for premium memberships to different websites selling electronics in the UK. In some of their cases (if they hadn’t immediately cancelled their credit cards), the uk websites charged a further $50-$100 to renew their membership 1 week after the initial purchase and refused to cancel or refund the money. Avoid! All of us who had this experience ( I am contact with 5 other women), have reported the company to our card dispute services at our respective banks. I have also lodged complaints with scamwatch in Australia, and the scam website authorities in the UK. Facebook has since removed the page or morris melbourne have shut down their Facebook page. The review that was left for them by me , still remains on my own Facebook page where other women have also commented about being scammed by Morris melbourne.
