Elliot Levenson of Moerans Solicitors Mill Hill made what could have been a stressful home purchase seamless a true professional and straight forward man I could not recommend Moerans and most of all Elliot more!!
I have dealt with many many conveyancing solicitors and recently had a horrific experience with one in East Barnet so to have someone actually DO everything and much more of what they promise and not try to take advantage with piling on cost is refreshing and most of all honest!!

We needed to action LPAs and had originally thought of going to a solicitor where we live. We then decided a family run firm might suit us better. We therefore made an appointment with Gabriella and weren’t disappointed. She took a great deal of time to find out about us in depth and advise us accordingly. We felt very comfortable talking to her and just wish we had started the process much earlier. Would thoroughly recommend her

We recently purchased our forever home with the help of Elliot at Moerans. Elliot was absolutely incredible and supported us tremendously throughout the entire process. We had a couple of transactions fall through in the past (when using different conveyancers) and so we were quite nervous. Elliot was always on hand to help and guide us, keeping us updated with what was going on, always quick with responses to emails or to have a call with us and really put us at ease. We really felt he was fighting for us and I can honestly say we never would have completed our purchase successfully and overcome some of the obstacles we faced if not for his amazing support.

I would highly recommend Moerans to anyone who is about to go through a property transaction! A huge thank you once more to Elliot and the team at Moerans!

We contacted Moerans as we wanted to make an administrative change to our mother's will.
Our solicitor at that time was unhelpful, almost hostile. As our mother was fragile, we needed someone who could be gentle and patient in dealing with her.

I called Moerans and spoke with Gabriella. She came across as gentle, understanding and supportive.
She advised me how to get the documents, and promised the full force of Moeran's support if they continued to refuse.

When we got the documents, Gabriella was away for a while and Simon took over on her behalf. He was also helpful and encouraging.
Simon also gave us some advice on an extra change we could make to the will that would significantly reduce the legal cost of the next stage. We really appreciated that honesty.

In the end, Gabriella came twice to visit my mother to finalise the change. She put my mother at ease, and it all went through smoothly.

Throughout this all, if there was anything I wanted to know or understand, I felt I could ask. This was in extreme contrast to the solicitors I used to be with.

When we got the final invoice, it was not only a lot less than my former solicitors would have charged, but also exactly what they had initially quoted.

We have already decided that when the time comes to finalise our mother's affairs, we will work with Moerans throughout the whole process.

I would strongly recommend people avoid using Moerans Solicitors for conveyancing services. I would also recommend avoiding any buyer wanting to use them.

Unfortunately for us, we agreed a sale with buyers using Moerans solicitors. We were in a chain and all parties were aware of the relatively tight timescales by which the sale needed to be completed. Despite this, Moerans solicitors:

- refused to correspond by email (insisted all documents had to be printed, posted etc, which cost critical days in a tight timescale)

- stated (incorrectly) that the sale could not proceed for a reason that was not a problem for the buyers (and was fully understood by the buyers at the time the offer was agreed and documented as part of the terms of the offer)

- took a further two and a half weeks to review documentation and raise queries

- following this, demanded a building control certificate for works that did not require building control approval, insisting the sale could not go ahead without this.

As a result of the above, it was impossible to complete the sale in the time required and it fell through. This has been a truly awful experience. Please avoid.
