Modern Furniture Deals 

I was close to giving 1* and I may soon reduce this to 1* as I am awaiting a further reply from the company.

The positive side of the company is that they have a wide selection of furniture with some different choices. The website is easy to navigate and make a purchase.

But then once you have paid it very quickly goes downhill. You get absolutely no communication from them and there is no phone numbers. They never reply to email without you having to constantly chase them.

The bookcase did eventually arrive and there are 2 minor issues that need to be resolved around parts. I have emailed them the issues and I am still awaiting a response.

I am not sure I will use them again and based on the service I would struggle to recommend them as a company. This is a shame as they do have a good selection that you cant find on the high street.

If they invested in customer service they would be a better company and would likely get more recommendations.

We have been re-decorating our new home and we purchased a desk, bookcase and a rug from this company.
The quality of the items are much better than expected. Also was the best price for its style online.
We had to change our address as we moved to our new home after placing the order.
The customer service was very helpful even though the items were dispatched they managed to change the delivery address with no extra charge.
Overall we had fantastic experience.

Fantastic! Both the bookcase and the desk arrived extremely well packed. In good order and delivered earlier than expected. I really appreciate their courier choice. Finish of the goods were also to a very high standard for the small purchase price..
Will definitely use again.. definitely recommend.

terrible customer service and bad product!!
I had ordered a shelf at the beginning of December and was promised a delivery before Christmas. Nothing arrived, they used Brexit and trouble at the port as an excuse for the late delivery. The shelf finally arrived during the first week of January.
The product itself was of very bad quality and did not look like on the website. Edges were rough, brackets the wrong colour and it looked very cheap for the £82.99 I paid for it.
So far so bad.....
After trying to call the company to notify them I would send it back for a refund ( their phone only seems to work occasionally), I sent it back and hoped for the best. Needless to say I still haven't received my money back, even after the promised to do so within 24 hrs.
After this very shoddy experience I try to get my money back via a credit card chargeback, hope that works!
Stay clear of this company, most of their products seem to be available on the 'Wayfair' website. The products are going to be as bad but at least the customer service should be better ;).

I ordered a bookcase on 30th November 2018 and the delivery on the website stated it would be delivered in 2-3 days. 'Excellent', I thought. It had been a week so I emailed the company. I had no response in a couple of days so decided to call them. The person apologised and instantly said that the reason is due to being in the 'post-brexit' stage....what?

They then told me it would be another week until they get stock. I informed them that their website specified 2-3 days delivery and they fobbed me off by saying "the system hasn't been updated and is possibly inaccurate at the moment". So, already, they can't even update their stock levels and maintain their website accordingly. I called them again on 18th December (almost 3 weeks after their stated delivery deadline) and they told me that Christmas bookings were causing this delay.

I'm sorry but having worked in Retail myself, I know that all stores are well aware that Christmas comes around EVERY YEAR so preparation and organisation is put in place to prevent any delays at this time of year. Besides, this item was ordered BEFORE December so this excuse was just plain ridiculous. So, the saga continues and they then said it WILL be delivered on 3rd January. Of course...this didn't happen.

I complained and they offered a 10% discount, which I took as this was really beginning to annoy me now. I was then told I'd be sent a tracking number for delivery by Wednesday 9th January. Of course, this wasn't sent to me either. I had to call them up AGAIN on the Thursday and ask where it was! So, finally, without any apology or any phone call to me, they just send off the item on Friday 11th January (I received a DHL notification) and delivered it.

It doesn't even end there! The box was taped up extremely shoddily so that the tape was almost peeling off and the delivery driver was terribly rude and obnoxious, practically pushing his way through the door and not speaking at all. This whole experience has made me steer clear of this company FOR GOOD! And i'd urge any of you to do the same too. I'm a placid and patient person so I would usually not mind waiting for an item but when you're continually lied to and given dates which don't end up happening, it gets to the point of rudeness and unprofessionalism. As I said, STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

Do not buy from these people I should have received a desk for my son for Christmas last Wednesday, I contacted them to say I hadn’t received it by email no response DHL have no record of receiving it from them at all. Tried all the phone numbers I can find for them and either got an answering machine or was the wrong number disgusting customer service beginning to think it’s all a scam. I want a refund.

Bought the maze desk and the bookshelf. Arrived before expected day with no problems. The units are easy to assemble and gives a modern feel to our newly decorated lounge , Reasonably easy to assemble. Very pleased...

Our Toty bookcase was cracked, scratched and dirty. After 4 weeks we are yet to receive a refund or replacement. Dreadful customer service.

After installing new central heating, my console table no longer fitted into its normal space. I ordered this modern table to accommodate the smaller area. It arrived fully assembled, which was a plus for me and it fitted exactly, as if it had been specially made to meet my requirements. The table is a solid piece of furniture and is well made and looks good for the price I paid.
The service was great and it arrived well packed and a day earlier than anticipated.
Yes I would certainly recommend this lovely piece of furniture. I have also noticed the same product is on sale at wayfair double the price!

Excellent service deliverey time 11.35 - 12.35 and delivered at 12.01 rather than other delivery companies that give you an 8-10 hour delivery time and you waste a full day waiting .

just had the chance to assemble the desks we ordered last month , we absolutely love the design.
We did not know much about this company but the service experience overall was very satisfying .
We will definetly order again !

I ordered a TV Unit from here and the quality is very poor. The pieces don't fit together properly and some arrived damaged in the corners. It was a nightmare to assemble as some of the instructions were in the wrong order, and the pilot holes weren't deep enough so I had to drill my own. It looks OK now that it is finished but I wouldn't buy from them again. Tried to leave a review on their website but I suspect they only publish the positive ones.

From beginning to end I had a negative experience buying this product. Wasn’t kept updated on delivery timescales until I received a text at 4pm one day to say the item would be delivered between 5:30 and 7pm! I had to change my plans and leave work early to ensure I was home, but the delivery didn’t arrive. Messaged the company for an update - no reply. Returned home the following evening and the furniture had been left outside my front door in clear view of the street, in the rain.
On unpacking the furniture I found that a couple of screws were missing and the instructions were wrong in places, making them difficult to follow. A number of the panels were scuffed or marked, the item was generally quite poor quality and didn’t fit together particularly well.
Looks ok once up but wouldn’t buy again or recommend.
