App deleted. You have to pay to rewind! This app used to be quite good. Very disappointed. I understand that you need to make money but this isn't how you do it.

I have used Mixcloud for serveral years now, but not so long ago, our ways have come to an end, and this is why.
1. I have experienced a growing issue with the App, that it sometimes just crashes, and after you reopen it, it can not remember what you where listening to before the crash, so lets say you where listening to a mix, then you have to find out your self where you lost it.
2. Suddenly one of the accounts that post mixes i enjoy alot, somewhat was not available anymore for free listening, but you had to have premium for that, which automatic makes you worse that other similar services.
And when you have those app issues, you will never get costumers to pay you for such a horrible support and platform.
3. The dealbreaker was when you actually could not rewind back without having a premium account, this is absolutely frustrating and so far from what i expect of a service like that.

I would recommend people to use other services that Mixcloud, because on this day, they just want your money, and dont really care about good customer service.

A free recommandation : Soundcloud.
A free/pay recommendation : Spotify.

You should have acted earlier, as in way way earlier.
I have still never seen a similar service as yours where you actually have to be a premium user for rewinding in mixes...
Also your "partners" probably do not have any permission at all to earn money on other artists behalf. That is illegal without permission for that Artist / Band them self or the label that tracks are released on.
Nothing you replied makes sense anymore, and so does your website aswell.

As i said, You are to late.

I have two standing support tickets as of right now. The first one is now going on about a week with no response, and my second ticket is 3 days in without a response. They say they respond within 24 hours but it's absolute BS. Extremely frustrating experience.

found it very frustrating to download the appw also I think it's unfair to charge people to listen to mixcloud select before they have even tried it..should give a trial for at least a month than charge people to listen .Also when having guests on a talk show you expect them to stutter and say "ERM, ERM ERM BUT, EMMM . when DJ keeps saying "Erm, erm ,but ,emm.. just seems very unprofessional I know that mixcloud isn't a Top Radio station but surely DJs can be presented a little better and concentrate on what they are going to stay. listen back to your own talk shows in 1hr "ERM, BUT EMM ,OH YEAH, ERM ,was repeated sooo many time i got fed up of listening.

Terrible. The Mixcloud App is itself OK, but avoid Mixcloud Select at all costs. Amongst the'benefit' of Mixcloud Select are the ability to listen to shows offline and being able to access the track list of songs played. The track lists are incomplete to say the least, but the offline option is seriously useless. When you download shows, they're often unplayable offline, and you have to re-load them online. (And that's not even a guarantee they'll work). AVOID MIXCLOUS SELECT. (Their 'support' department is also useless).

My songs were found online by someone using a fake account under my full name including middle name. I don't appreciate the songs being under my name and they weren't published songs and then another was some other artists song under my name. Completely criminal and unprofessional. Then they try to steal artists songs and mix calling it "smash" they don't know me and they do not know I am under a music category called smash. How are they doing this to my name and my music.???

I'M EXTREMELY IRRITATED / FRUSTRATED with what Mixcloud turned to be. Before Mixcloud was one of my favorite and most used websites. SEEMS GAME OVER.
I have no idea what they changed in the website code...
BUT. IN FACT.
My setup was NOT changed in any way. TESTED on Windows, Mac OS (High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina), in different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera). Mixcloud doesn't want to play recordings; it crashes my browser; and it EVEN provides me the system warning messages on Windows that my PC is low on memory (while I have 16GB RAM !).
And, now, additionally, they changed the functionality. So, that you cannot scroll the track backward. No comments.
Sorry, Mixcloud. Seems it's time to search for the new service. R.I.P

Awful decision to restrict rewinding, it often won't even let me seek forwards properly. Removing simple usability and asking for money to get it back is not the way to do things!

Avoid their premium service, they take money of you even when cancelled your services and they don't respond to you when contact there customer service. Feel conned.

It's a good website to share own made music mixes on and experience new songs. Only it's a shame that you can only login with Facebook, not with Google. And I wish there was an option to pay for your subscription through PayPal, because if there was I would.

Has potential but lack of customer support and flawed website security makes it one to steer clear of. I have 4 accounts with them for different artists/brands. One of these accounts started exhibiting strange behavior. I started getting loads of thank you messages from fans for following them during a period I'd not been using my account (my login details are unique to this site and very secure). I logged in to find my account had followed around 1500+ other users. I got in touch to express my concerns which weren't taken seriously, then a few days later found myself locked out of my account. I contacted their support again and got told there was nothing they could do so I should just create a new account. I'd invested time into creating the content for my account and growing a following over the space of a few years, so this was an unacceptable response. I persevered and manged to speak to someone else who was a bit more helpful and finally managed to restore my access, but when I started asking questions about the future security of my 4 accounts all replies stopped. I don't understand how any company or social media platform can ignore the concerns of it's users, especially when it comes to security of their accounts. Very disappointing experience.

Used to be a rich community full of active users which devolved into another soundcloud, full of bots and corporations and become a completely fabricated user experience.

The minute you delete your account, they sell your email to the singles/dating bots that infest their website. Never seen SO much spam after leaving a website.
