Always a good service good quality printing and quick delivery

I recently published a book with Mixam. I was recommended to use them as their quality is good - and it is! Not a single issue in the 350 received so far. CANNOT fault them in this.
The issue I have is that their delivery times are estimates that are never really firmed up.
I paid for quicker delivery for my first item and it was delayed (no refund!), the next two arrived on time and the last was two days late. My issue isn't the delay - I can cope with that, it's the lack of communication. I had one email for the last delayed order (telling me it wouldn't be going out as planned) but no follow up. I shouldn't need to reach out to support. A simple email the night before helps me plan my day better. I'm tired of waiting in for a ghost delivery!
My book is scaling so fast and want Mixam to be the partner in this. I've spent £7k so far and likely will be spending a good £5k per month moving forwards. But I need a company with tighter communication.

And speaking of scaling. I order in batches of 100. I was surprised to find that if I tried to order in 150/200 that the price per unit increases significantly. I've never encountered prices per unit going UP as you order more. Stay the same? Fine. Cheaper (more common) - better. It's odd and customer support just told me that this isn't an error if they website is saying so... (If there's a reason at least communicate this!).

I couldn't be happier with my items. Easy ish to use once you play around with it. Would definitely order again.

Delivery wasn't great, but that wasn't anything to do with Mixam, but DPD incompetence. And Mixam were super helpful.

Received another 20 copies of my book (after the first batch sold out!) and they are all great and survived the shipping perfectly.

The print is okay, and Mixam is probably one of the cheapest online printing companies out there. However, the delivery arrangements are ALWAYS sub-par, and inevitably leave you disappointed and disgruntled. At the time of ordering, they give you an 'estimated delivery date', but it is always wildly optimistic. I'd suggest you add on three working days to whatever they state in their estimate, and work to that timeline- then you won't be so disappointed. Your frustration will be compounded by the fact that they charge you over £8 for a next day delivery service from DPD, which is just NEVER delivered next day. For this particular order, my shipping notification came on 31st May, with an estimated delivery date of 1st June, and my order appeared on 3rd June. No explanation, no apologies - but, at least, it was only 2 days over target, so better than previous efforts at least.

I’ve used Mixam over 5 times now for my novels, they are always on hand to help with any enquiries or fixes needed! They are very reasonably priced without having to break the bank for small orders as well, which I appreciate. The staff have been very kind too through the process. Will continue to use them for my future prints! Thank you!

I wanted some books printed with complex borders very close to the edge of the page, Mixam worked with me to get these ready for printing and the end result was great.

I used Mixam to print a prototype for a book project, and the whole process exceeded my expectations. Their online interface for uploading and preparing the project was incredibly simple, clear, and efficient, which made what could have been a daunting process feel straightforward.

Really easy to use website especially for someone who knows nothing about design specifics I simply drag and dropped my images onto the template and I’m very pleased with my magazine!

Wonderful printing as always. The courier wasn't quite so good, but Mixam organised a prompt reprint to replace the damaged copies. Very happy - will definitely be back!

I was keen to able to upload my book design and have the flexibility to make changes online. Plus, I wanted to be able to try a Smyth-sewn binding. Mixam offered this option, along with helpful customer-support which was appreciated. The finished product was very good; I would certainly use them again.

Great quality prints!

As a first time customer I did find it slightly confusing to use at times. But when I called their help line they were very helpful and explained why X wasn’t working. The website also has a very useful AI chat bot which answers questions tailored to the company. Saved me a lot of time - it answered every question I had.
