Shameful company
Shameful company, little short of thieves, put the price up to 'gift' me more data than I need. It happens all the time, I guess that's why their parent company profits jumped 29% in Q2 of 2017. Can't wait to get rid of them. Don't sign up!
Absolutely WORST …
Absolutely WORST service/employee/company I have EVER come across WORLDWIDE!
Location: Plaza Nueva, 2, Seville, Spain.
Employee: rude female in her late 20s-early 30s refused to provide competent assistance, yelled, and even chased after me on the street, screaming. Most bizarre experience I have ever had in a customer service office setting.
Avoid dealing with this company at all cost! Stay away!
TV/cellphone/WiFi service has constant problems.
Their employees are rude, incompetent and input NO effort to assist
their customers.
Beware of ¨legalised fraud¨ in Spain
Movistar is under Telefonica of Spain meaning that by the time you have been misinformed, mislead, provided slow internet, unprofessionally treated and overcharged on your direct debit account, you most likely will not be able to do anything about your lost money, slow internet connection nor any of the many frustrations that come from hiring this fraudulent service. Avoid these and other unresolved situations by simply not getting any type of contract with them regardless of what they promise you in person or on the phone. Unfortunately, these types of complaints do nothing else but warn other potential clients and nothing else. But its still worth something for consumer fraud knowledge. Movistar practices fraud under "legal" auspices.
useless customerservice, and if you want to cancel your subscription you have to write a letter get with the times, it is 2017. also get a direct number.
DO NOT BOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USELESS COMPANY. try and phone them you will not even be put through.....
KAKA - SHIT - LORT
Stole money from my acccount, due to technician that lied about fixing our WIFI - he never showed up, and they still took money for the "service"
Tried to complain, but haven't heard anything back...
Robaron dinero de mi acccount , debido al técnico que mintió sobre la fijación de nuestra WIFI - que nunca apareció , y todavía tuvo dinero para el "servicio"
Trató de quejarse , pero no han oído nada a cambio
Judging from other reviews, most people have a similar experience
Useless - use anyone else but them if you can...
I've called constantly for 3 months...don't use these people!
I've honestly experienced some really bad companies in my lifetime when it comes to internet providers. I thought the service couldn't get any worse than I had experienced in Italy, but Movistar prove that they can go one step further in terrible support!
Why they call it "support" fascinates me! Not one person understands anything to do with the word IP or Port... when you know yourself the problem and tell them in simple English, they answer with "what you have no internet connection?"
3 months I've been waiting for them to fix the problem and I call on a daily basis. You have to have nerves of steel to even work with a company like this. Not having a problem solved for 3 months and speaking to a bunch of people that don't understand the basics takes a lot of strength mentally. It pushes you to you limits.
Therefore I would definitely recommend that you stay away from this company. I know that in most cases you can only have Movistar, but if possible go elsewhere! Why should be have to accept terrible non existing service in 2015?! Just because they are big?! No, then be smart go elsewhere where you are considered a customer.
The amount of time and money this has cost me in lost time during the last 3 months is non payable. Does anyone care from Movistar?
No of course not, if they did care or they had a system that worked then they would have fixed my basic issue.
We as consumers are no longer interested in "I understand sir, but I'm just an Agent"... That does not solve issues. We pay for a service so we expect a service, and after 3 months one does expect some kind of a result!
