I ordered 40 custom Christmas Cards. When they arrived 12 of the cards were of a different family. I have spent 2 days and numerous hours on hold trying to talk to a customer service representative.... See more

Minted.com has some of the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. We received our order for our wedding invitations on November 4th, because of the craziness of the holiday season we didn't get our invites mailed out Until the beginning of December. One of the items we ordered for our invitations didn't fit the invitation properly, so we called to return it. When we called we were told we would get a call back within 1 week to finalize our refund. We never got a call back. I called them back today (mid January) to see what was going on with our refund, and they said they sent me an email instead (went to my spam), stating they were denying our refund request. I escalated to a manager who called me back 30 minutes later, and he stood firm on the denial of our refund. I've been using minted as a professional photographer for my business for years, up until I was planning my own wedding with my fiancée I've never had a problem with them. After this I will never use minted again, and I will recommend to all the brides and grooms I work with to avoid minted as well.

We had a decent experience and feel lucky after reading here. Used for wedding invitations and suite and we got a bit of a late start after getting a quote from local stationer. That quote was absurd. There were some mistakes and quality control not there with minted but in general after some discounts for mistakes price was fair and invitations were nice. Got good help calling in and doing the free consult.

Minted is one of the worst vendors I have ever had the displeasure of utilizing, and I embarrassed to say I’ve tried using their services multiple times. Never again. I used Minted for my wedding website and invitation suite. First of all, the prices are absurd and I regret moving forward with my order. Second, the samples take forever to arrive. Third, my actual wedding invitations got lost in the mail and never arrived. It’s a pain to find their customer service number, and no one monitors the email inbox. So finally I was able to order a replacement of invitations, which arrived 2 weeks late, delaying my ability to send them out in a timely manner. The original order showed up at my door AFTER the wedding (5 months later). The wedding website functionality is not great, and adding or updating contact names/addresses is extremely difficult, making tracking of RSVPs very tedious and time consuming. On top of that, I gave the company another chance by ordering holiday/New Year’s cards and paid extra for expedited shipping. The cards never arrived. My replacement order never arrived. I had to request a refund and was unable to send anything out. I’m completely disappointed with their service and shipping through FedEx and would caution anyone, especially brides, NOT to use Minted for any purpose. Use Zola instead, they have fabulous customer service, functionality, prices, and shipping.

Purchased a card at local Target (actually two of the same card!). Have been going back every few weeks to check stock, no refills or sells before I get to store. Loved the card so much decided what would it hurt to reach out to Minted. Lovey representative I chatted with found the card and shared link to purchase. I bought 10 of the most perfect card. Thank you Minted, you all are wonderful!

After being offered and accepting a refund from minted for the delay in my card shipment, they contacted me and told me that they would not honor the refund and instead offered me a 10% discount?????? What?????offer is in writing from them to me. WOW.

I can’t say enough terrible things about Minted. They have the audacity to charge significantly more than what the products are worth and then proceed to not even provide what you paid for and give you the complete run around with “customer service” when you try to get help. They allowed an order I made for escort cards and table number to go through and neglected to tell me until THREE DAYS before my wedding that they no longer had the style of card available and could not fulfill my order. Not only that I had to jump through even more hoops to get my money back. Don’t give this joke of a company your money. Find a local print shop who will actually care about you and appreciate your business.

I paid for “expedited” delivery, and I am still not sure if the order is correct. I wasted one hour and 42 minutes on chat trying to explain their error in my return envelope address not being printed on the backs of my envelopes. I happened to catch the missing return addresses on the original proof (I remember putting it in because they rejected my font as not coordinating with the recipient addresses on the front of the envelope).
With the time I wasted, they emailed me illegible proofs (too small to check out the spelling because it was a screenshot or the proof!)
I should have bought stick-on labels and paid someone to apply them. Furthermore, even tho I caught their error, I had to pay for new envelopes and get a refund later. What a nightmare for an already stressful time.

minted is an absolute joke.
not only did my invites cost almost $700 for my events, they got my order wrong four times. after the second time I called and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor and only wanted to offer 25% off for the inconvenience. they repeatedly offered to expedite my shipping and production, but lied time over time. every time i reprocessed the order i would have to call back to make sure they followed through on their word. this is the second and LAST time i will ever use them again. BRIDES, please lower your expectations and prepare to have a headache if you decide to use them.

I chose Minted for my holiday cards this year because of their reputation for quality, despite their higher prices compared to competitors. Unfortunately, 10 of my cards arrived with a clear defect—a white line in the upper right-hand corner caused by the printing process.
I emailed Minted’s customer service team twice, providing detailed photos of the issue, but I’ve received no response. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially considering the premium cost of their products.
I trusted Minted to deliver a high-quality experience for an important holiday tradition, and I’m left disappointed and scrambling to fix this. I expected much better from a company of this stature.

Paid for rush delivery. Got an email saying my envelopes would be shipping separately and they would upgrade my shipping at no extra charge. This was a complete lie, after receiving my cards and no envelopes and many hours on hold with FedEx I found out they were actually shipped ground, which is completely unacceptable, especially when I paid for express. Even if I hadn’t they should have been shipped 2 day. Took an additional 5 days to get my envelopes, they were not delivered until Christmas Eve so my cards could not go out until the 26th. Very frustrating experience. I will make sure to share my experience with others to ensure they don’t go through the same thing.

I have used Minted for years. Once your addresses are in it's hard to switch companies. I love their stationary and will continue to order that. The quality over the last couple of years has deteriorated. I normally think it's because my photos were taken with a phone. This year, we had professional photos, they were fuzzy on the cards. Also, the print was uneven and it looked like I didn't punctuate correctly. A few of the cards had the seam off kilter making them super messy. Also, I can't access the exact addresses I mailed cards to after the order, just my entire list. I called and they gave me a partial refund but there is no taking back sending out fuzzy engagement pics. I have always found the design section cumbersome and difficult to navigate. So Disappointing. I will be using another company for photo cards in the future. The paper is high quality.

Great card and NO envelopes (paid for recipient addressing). Ordered on 12/9, received cards 12/12. Envelopes have still not arrived as of 12/26. Delivery date keeps getting pushed out. Waited on hold for 1 1/4 12/21 - customer service rep was great, refunded $100 and assured they'd be delivered 12/23... still no cards. Live chat is worthless.

We placed our order on November 27th, approved the proof. We then received an order which contained photo cards for ANOTHER FAMILY with our return envelopes! Our envelopes were supposed to be addressed to recipients. They were not. We sent them our address list. Was able to reach someone in customer service who reordered our cards and envelopes which took some time to arrive but they did send Priority.

Hugely disappointed with Minted! My Christmas cards were supposed to be delivered December 16, every day I looked and the delivery date was pushed back. I tried contacting the company through their live chat, was disconnected every time . Called them twice , was on hold both times for 40 minutes. I finally just cancelled my order and will NEVER use them again!

I have used Minted for the past four years - last year, three days after I ordered with rush delivery, I received my cards. This year is completely different. I ordered on 12/10 with rush delivery and never received the cards, only the envelopes on 12/23?! The cards are delayed for another week so after the New Year, if they come at all. Terrible customer service - never get back to you.

I have been a reliable minted customer. I ordered my cards on the 12th, the delivery date has been pushed back 4 times. I got a text yesterday they shipped but if I go to the website it says shipping on the 24th. I sat on the phone for 30 min before I gave up. The press 7 for a live chat does not work. I left multiple messages on the useless AI chat. I paid for rush, skipped the proof and two weeks later no cards. I am beyond frustrated.

Christmas cards were fantastic! But, the envelopes were shipped super late and the colors were not as bright. Their design selections and creation process is super simple and fun. We loved the cards when they arrived. However, we kept wondering where the envelopes were. Customer service replied that they’d be delayed one week and offered us 50% refund. Unfortunately, we had to go buy our own envelopes and print them at home to make sure our cards were mailed (USPS) on time. The envelopes arrived 19 days after we placed our order, 03 Dec to 22 Dec. The problem is that without envelopes, an order from Minted is incomplete. Its a poor production model to ship envelopes separately. And, their customer service was inaccurate and strained to communicate. We do recommend them if you order a month or more in advance.

As with many of the other reviews who have posted recently, Minted did not honor their delivery time even though I paid an extra 34.95 for rush shipping. After waiting on hold for more than 25 minutes, I then tried the online chat to try to reach someone, this also took more than 20 minutes. This was on 12/20, the day I was supposed to receive my cards. I was assured they would arrive on 12/21 and that my shipping would be refunded. Neither has happened and the person I tried to get help from on their online chat just ignored me when I asked for proof of my refund. I will never be ordering from Minted again.

Sixth year ordering holidays cards with minted and will almost certainly be my last. Ordered cards on 12/12—225 grand sized, folded cards. Approved proof 12/13. Paid for the fastest shipping (rush) available at the time, and the estimated delivery date was 12/16 or 12/17. Over a week after ordering, the cards are still in production. No one can tell me what the issue is or will tell me, accurately or honestly at least, when it will be resolved. I have called Minted every day this week, starting 12/16, and every day—after at least 40 mins on hold, but on a couple of occasions, more like 90 mins— someone has told me that my cards are coming the next day. If I had known on Monday that I still wouldn’t have my cards today, I would have placed an emergency order with another company. It’s really mind-boggling—I get that sometimes there are issues, but the fact that they can’t seem to reliably communicate with or give instructions to their fulfillment center/vendor is bizarre. Several of the people I’ve spoken to—including supervisors—have told me they would prioritize the order/tell the printer to print it that day, but it hasn’t happened. If they can’t fulfill my order in time, they should at least be able to accurately tell me when to expect it, and if they can’t do either, they should be able to tell me why. They keep mentioning something vague about volume and suggesting they are backlogged—but then why AS OF THIS MINUTE does their website still say you can order cards tomorrow morning and receive them Christmas Eve? That’s false and Minted knows it. A lawyer might call it fraud.
Super disappointed. Despite my history and the fact that, at least I think, I place a reasonably substantial order for personal Christmas cards every year, I’m apparently not a valued customer. I requested and they gave me a huge discount, but honestly, I would have much preferred to pay and have my cards.
