I have used Mighty Ape multiple times over the years and found them especially good for last minute fast deliveries but lately every order has been a nightmare. Product delivery dates vary, I can't use Zip on some items, I just lost money off my Visa when I didn't request this payment method and mostly there is absolutely no urgent customer care. I am always super stressed when I order through Mighty Ape now.
You will have a bad experience, the gold age for this company is over!

Thinking of buying through Mighty Ape…DON’T!!!
I have ordered through Mighty Ape a number of times over the years and always been extremely happy with my experience…until now! Please beware that this company is no longer the customer service champion it used to be. It is now owned by Kogan Australia. There is no number to call and the so-called live chat option doesn’t exist. My order has not arrived and efforts to contact the company have resulted in automated messages telling me to wait 3-7 business days for a reply. Kogan, you can do better than this. You have destroyed a previously trusted Kiwi icon’s’ reputation. Very sad 😔
Not a real Samsung charger. Fake!
I ordered a Samsung watch charger. It was advertised as a Samsung charger, but when I received it was a Chinese knockoff. So if my watch breaks or if it catches fire, can I sue Mighty Ape?

Damaged Speakers
Ordered speakers, one of the speakers were damaged, not even 24 hours into the product. I discovered the lining going into the speaker drum was soldered correctly, i reported the product to mighty ape. Took a photo of the barcode, etc. And they came back to me saying they can't find the product purchase in the system, absolute whack website. I would rather purchase from somewhere elsewhere than these fools, i do not suggest mightyape at all. Take your money somewhere else, not these guys.
Week and lawn eater
Don't buy from this now drop shop. Faulty products and csnt get ahold of anyone that will listen or refund me . It took a while to get here and though amrex not nz post . They give y9u a tracking and you push it and your taken to a au web site and say no tracking number available. Got the product and it had 3 pic and a few words under it , battery's last 10 or so min before getting hot and the blade does sit on right and sparks fire, emailed them and they said they will talk to 3rd party and then just asked me to take a video of it and show them the problem wtf I don't want to burn myself or my property , shame on you might up you gone down is every single way . Never again will I buy from this place.

Ownership changed ruined it

Kogan ruined a great place where collectors could get stuff that had limited availability in the country. I'll now be shopping at the nile.
Mighty ape have become absolute…
Mighty ape have become absolute garbage. The new "Kogan styled" website is a hot mess making it harder to find things, buy things and with a cluttered layout.
Gone off the great ones click purchase, you now get "prime ape X shoved down your throat everytime you go to purchase and gone off the reliable, quick friendly customer serviced, replaced with kogans money pinching model where they take no responsibility for their 3rd party product support and you're stuck with relying on some company that couldn't care less about you to respond to your product issues with mighty ape doing nothing to help.
This is what happens when a company gets bought buy another one that has no interest in keeping the customer or their experience at the heart. It becomes a tatty Temu knockoff without any charm, ux design, personality or customer care.
Did not delivery Christmas gifts
Promised delivery of Christmas gifts by December 17th. Like other people I was scammed. There is no way to contact the company, they haven’t answered emails.

Do not shop here. I ordered some gifts for my kids two weeks before Christmas. Delivery expected on the 13th. It’s Christmas Eve and they’re still not here. Nor are there any answers to my emails to them. As much as it pains me, next time I’ll use Amazon.

Do not shop here. They have lured me in with misleading and false information. I am now a significant amount of money out of pocket with no Christmas gift. I will be reporting them to Commerce Commission. I recommend that everyone who has had this experience, also lodge a complaint with Commerce Commission. No company should be allowed to get away with such unethical practices.
DON’T SHOP HERE! Bad Customer service
Item was missing from my large order. I have been trying to contact them for two weeks. No reply. Four emails sent. No contact phone number, no luck on live chat. I want my money back or the missing item. Not sure how that will now get to me four days before Xmas!! Absolutely useless and very frustrating service. Used to be good. I will never shop here again.
Update: After 3.5 weeks and leaving numerous requests on their social media everytime they posted something someone finally replied. They said my item that wasn’t in the box is now out of stock and they would refund me. (Perhaps if they had answered one of the five emails I sent over nearly four weeks it would have been in stock then. It’s now the day before Christmas and I need to go and find another gift.

Literal horrid experience with this “New MightyApe” my packages never arrived even though their items are “In stock”. Tried contacting their live chat, just to get a response from a bot telling me “No one is available, leave an message and we’ll get back to you asap” weeks have passed yet still can’t get a single message from them. Sent a message from an email without an order & get almost instant reply. Just seems like they’re avoiding the situation entirely. Just done a huge order on there for everyone’s Christmas presents and guess what? It’s not even a week until Christmas, I have no gifts, no refund on my money, no resolution, no responses, nothing. Absolute garbage store. Please guys, find somewhere else to buy from, mighty ape are no longer good for anything. I would never want this happening to you.

One star is far to much for the online experience. I ordered my sons Christmas present from here two weeks ago and have heard nothing. Ive tried numerous times to contact them but no reply. Im thankful I used afterpay to make payment so I can pushback on payments to them until I get some form of communication. MIGHTYAPE you are a joke!
Terrible Service, Misleading, New website is TRASH
Mightyape's new website is a complete disaster! I can't even begin to explain how much worse it is compared to the old one. The navigation is a nightmare, and searching for items is practically impossible now. Oh, and customer reviews are mysteriously gone? How convenient.
Don’t even get me started on the third-party dropshipping mess. Mightyape takes no responsibility for faulty or broken dropshipped items they sell, even though they act as the merchant. This is absolutely ridiculous. They seem to think they can get away with selling products with zero accountability. Clowns.
Shipping times are a joke. "In stock" items are not actually in stock, and somehow, you're expected to wait a MONTH for them to ship. What a scam. It gets worse with Click and Collect—what used to be a quick and easy process now leaves you waiting over an hour, and sometimes they can't even find your items.
Forget about live chat support too. It’s either unreachable or has drastically reduced hours. Good luck getting help. I sent an email two weeks ago and still haven’t received a response. Terrible customer service.
There are far too many issues with this company to list here, but to sum it up: the new "look" website is a complete downgrade from the old one. It’s clunky, confusing, and far less user-friendly. It feels like they took a page out of Kogan’s book and ruined what was once a decent shopping experience. I’ve unsubscribed from being a Primate for very obvious reasons. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Mightyape has completely lost its way.
So very disappointed Mighty Ape
So very very disappointed with the service you offer Mighty Ape. First of all I ordered 2 items ( a XBox controller and a chacuterie recipie book) in one order which I thought were going to be shipped together. They are both Christmas presents and I ordered 22nd November thinking I had plenty of time to receive them before Xmas. But no. One item arrived today in a very dishevelled looking box but the other one will not be sent until 23rd of December . I had to recheck my order form and saw the book was placed as a seperate order. Why on earth would you advertise a product as available in Black Friday Sales when you know people are Xmas shopping only to then advise once the payment has gone through that it won't be sent out til Dec 23. Ridiculous! Then to top it off I try to contact your help centre online chat. What a joke that is. At 4pm I get a message saying noone is available and to write a message explaining what I want. I try that and I get timed out. I try again to contact at 4.25pm and get a message saying it is outside of business hours even though you say your live chat hours are untilhours are from 9 -4.45pm. Honestly you do not make things easy for your customers at all. Very disappointing service. I have had good service in the past but this is not one of those occasions.
what the hell is this new website
This new website they’ve created is absolutely balls. I hate it. I used to enjoy shopping on mightyape but now it’s a mess and all of the things I liked about the shopping experience, they’ve removed from the website. Absolutely stupid idea in my opinion and everybody I’ve discussed this with has agreed with me. I have no idea why they would do this.
