Feels like a scam website.

E-Book order placed on hold. Charged, but no delivery of e-book. Customer Support email directs to a bad address.
Undeliverable: Re: Order Number WEBE[redacted]

microsoftpresscs wasn't found at pearson.com.

The only way to reach out and cure is wrong, and as a customer, I have no way forward. Feels like a scam.

Worst sites I've shopped from....

Yeah they be honest this is a pretty horrible place to shop from, starting with the user interface and everything... based off what everybody said it seems that I'm having issues too with my invoice they sent me only half of my invoice so instead of receiving page (1 of 2 and 2 of 2) I was sent (2 Pages, 2 of 2) they only sent me page-two twice. I reached out to the phone number on the website which is strictly for technical support but the representative did provided me with the email address for contact with issues and it is
Customer-service(at)informit or you can just Google information website.

I am in Mississauga,Canada.

I am in Mississauga,Canada.
I ordered two books and due some mistake I had to cancel my order. I canceled my order just couple of minutes after placing it.
They charge the amount right away and no refund is issued yet, still trying to get some information from them but no success. It’s almost seven weeks now.
It was my first experience and totally bad.
I wouldn’t recommend it to purchase anything from these guys.
It looks to me a SCAM.

Fully charged for incomplete delivery

I ordered two books from Microsoft Press website and they promptly charged my Paypal account as soon they they claimed the books were shipped. As soon as I got the box, I could tell there weren't two books inside, the weight was off for one thing and the size of the box was a bit small. Upon opening, I confirmed my suspicions that only one book was shipped. I called the customer support contact number and presented my case to the operator at the shared services site. We were on the line for over 20 minutes trying to explain the situation all to have it come down to him telling me that he would submit a case for review. Someone handling the case sent me an email two days later claiming the the book was on back-order and they were closing the case. This is not acceptable, no estimate of delivery was provided and no explanation was given as to why I was charged and my order status has both books in Shipped status, so it looks like my order is complete. No one is wiling to help, they only say call the customer support line which in turn means another 20 minutes at least spent telling someone the story to have them just open up another case for investigation. I really miss when companies had good, reliable customer service.

Poor to No Customer Service.

I purchased a book that was suppose to include a practice test as advertised on their website. The book did come rather quickly which is why 2 stars are given but low and behold, there is no practice test. Mistakes can occur but should be rectified within 24-48 hours. I am now 72 hours in and still no response. If I can have this rectified in another 24 hours I would gladly change my rating to a 3 star and modify this review but it shouldn't come to that. They really need a customer service telephone number to dial into as this type of issue should only take a few moments to resolve and being that the Microsoft,Pearson and MeasureUp's (all respectful companies imo) names are on the line, I really expect better support than this. Step it up :(

Edit: Didnt think I could wait this long for customer service. Still no valid response (not really any response at all tbh, just automated stuff). Lowered rating to 1 star.

Unbelievable and neverending problems with invoicing

Don't order on Microsoft Press Store if you are outside the US, or if you are not a private customer.
If you are ordering from outside the US or need an Invoice.. you don't really want to order from them.

I did the mistake of ordering in the Microsoft Press Store to get 2 Book+ebook bundles. Don't do it. Order the book in your local reseller (or Amazon) and live without the Ebook if no one else sells it.

They only offer email support, and the Microsoft Press Store post-selling support is carelessness, answers emails after many days (if they answer at all), and only answer 1 email every 3/4 ones.

For an order placed the 11 of June, I've not yet received (13 of August!) the invoice for my order.
I've written countless emails to them, but still nothing. The best answer I've got is "be advised that due to system migration we are facing some issue, we will be able to provide you an invoice once our system are up".

I'm supposed to believe that in 2018 it takes months to "migrate" the invoicing system? Or that it takes 2 months to generate an invoice?
Isn't an online store supposed to send invoices to its customers?

This is utterly ridiculous.

Worst of all, they provide you fields to write distinct "Ship To" and "Bill To" addresses. I've discovered after many emails with Fedex and the Customs office, that the Customs invoice (yes you need to pay customs duties if you order from outside US) is wrong because Pearson Education (the company managing the Microsoft Press Store) wrote wrong information inside the AWB (they wrote the "Ship To" address instead of "Bill To" everywhere inside the documents).
Thanks to this, we now have a fiscally invalid and inconsistent Customs invoice, and the shipping company (Fedex) is asking 84€ to correct the Customs invoice because the error is not on their part (unfortunately neither on mine, it is Pearson Education who has written the wrong heading on the AWB).

Because of this, I currently have wrong Customs invoice (because of the wrong AWB from the Press Store), and no invoice at all of the order itself.
thanks Microsoft Press Store and Pearson Education, your service is so bad that is nearly a fraud. Ok, I've at least received the books, so it is not completely a fraud.. But still there is something fishy in their inability to produce an Invoice.

Stay away from this store.

I whish I could give zero starts to the Microsoft Press Store, but sadly there is no such option in Trustpilot.

UPDATE: after "only" 2 months, I've finally received the invoice, without a single word of apologize.
