Save your generic "Hello, we apologize for the inconvenience" template. I have already contacted your 24/7 live chat multiple times and received exactly the same useless response every time.
Small rewards of 2$ or 5$ arrived without any issue. My account traded normally for months – deposits, withdrawals, and positions worked perfectly with no warnings or flags.
However, the moment larger rewards appeared – thousands of dollars from campaigns I fully qualified for – you immediately cancelled everything with the excuse "security breach / risk control triggered". No specific explanation, no evidence, no details provided.
I am an official MEXC affiliate partner with UID 55437035.
Because of this situation I have stopped inviting anyone to the platform. How am I supposed to recommend MEXC when I myself was denied rewards I earned? How can I tell people "register and you can get up to 5k in rewards" when I know the big payouts will likely be cancelled with a vague excuse?
This is not proper risk control. This looks like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: you promote big rewards to attract deposits and trading volume, then arbitrarily deny the significant payouts while allowing small ones.
Provide concrete evidence of what exactly was violated on UID 55437035 (specific transactions, dates, or type of breach) or simply pay the rewards I legitimately earned.
Stop sending the same template message. I expect a real, detailed answer – not another "thank you for your understanding"
I regularly received small prizes at MEXC - 2\ (, 5\) and similar amounts from various events and campaigns. The system has never had a problem with that. Account trading worked normally, deposits, withdrawals, all without any "risk control."
But when it came to the bigger rewards (even a few thousand dollars from the campaigns I was eligible for), a "security breach" suddenly appeared and all the big rewards were cancelled. No specific explanation, no proof - just "sorry, risk control triggered."
The worst part is that I am an official affiliate partner of MEXC. I recommend the platform to people, I say "come, you'll get $10 to start, you can even get 5k in event rewards." People register through my link, deposit money, and I myself can't claim the rewards I was entitled to.
This isn't right. Unfair and unethical. How am I supposed to recommend a stock exchange where I get hit in the head for "security" that I've never compromised? Small amounts fly, large ones are lost. Zero transparency.
MEXC - if you're reading this: give me a specific reason and proof of a violation, or pay what I'm entitled to. Otherwise, such practices are simply classic "bait and switch" on rewards.

Mexc lock my funds without providing them "Advanced KYC". I have never a balance of more than 5k $ on my account and less than the 1 BTC value for simple KYC (advanced KYC = 200 BTC..). My account isn't recent many years old and can use it since many years without any issue.
Without notice, withdrawal of less than 10 USD in value is locked. I can deposit, trade, all is open just can't recover my funds who already trigger a red flag. Support confirmed than I can win/deposit more. Meaning "increases the mexc theft haul".
I just want to share with anyone what the laws said :
If you are dealing with an entity that claims to be a bank but has no legal existence and refuses to return your funds, this is no longer a standard compliance procedure (KYC/AML). It's theft via a financial scam. In a legal framework, even if funds are frozen for AML verification, a bank must be able to prove it's licensing. The lack of legal existence is the definitive sign of fraud.
=> This company can't tell me where is located their HQ, CEO name or any legal address to send them a legal mail with tracking and proof of receipt. Many country have already black listed Mexc because haven't any license meaning not respect any rules.
Scammers often use "anti-money laundering" as a pretext to justify freezing funds and demanding sensitive documents.
A legitimate bank that rejects a client for non-compliance is obligated to return the funds to the original sending account. Refusing to return the money is a theft.
=> Mexc refuse to justify any reason and I haven't received any notice about that until I try to do a very small withdrawal.
I ask my funds returned back from their original source and refuse to do that. Refuse too to close my account and send back funds or give me money physically. Refuse to give me a physical office address for live verification without share or be able to keep any private/personnal data. ID theft is very frequent and your data will go on dark web often reselled.
Red flags :
- Absence of a verifiable banking license from regulators
- The entity isn't listed on official commercial registers.
Mexc is unable to respond at anything and repeat always the same sentences since days when the problem should be solved within 24h.
EDIT due to their reply : However, Mexc response is a very general one.
If they are sorry, they will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, comply with the laws and return funds to rightful owner just as every bank does without stolen funds.

SCAM.
Be careful.
bad people.

I strongly advise anyone to stay away from this service.
They held people's money without any real justification, wasting people's time while effectively keeping the funds in their accounts under the excuse of “security”.
I purchased €40 worth of cryptocurrency for an important project through MEXC, paying immediately by credit card. Even though the payment was processed instantly, my funds were locked for 48 hours.
When I contacted customer support to ask for explanations and request the release of my funds, I was simply told to “wait” for the countdown to finish. No solution, no real support.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable: not only do they hold your money, but they also waste your time.
As a result, I lost money because I had to delay the delivery of an important project.
Extremely negative experience. Not recommended.

SCAM! Upon registration, there was no information about the need to complete procedure KYC to withdraw funds. In fact, it's impossible to withdraw funds, even minimal amounts up to $10 in cryptocurrency.

MEXC blocked my funds at withdrawal stage.
I used the platform under no-KYC conditions for crypto transactions, which worked without issue.
However, when attempting to withdraw, my account was flagged and all withdrawals were blocked.
They now require full KYC including ID, employment details, and proof of wealth.
No partial withdrawal or alternative solution is offered.
Support repeats the same response without addressing the fact that these requirements were not in place when using the platform.
This creates a situation where users cannot access their own funds unless they provide sensitive personal data.
Very concerning experience.

It is with great disappointment that I share my experience with a certain online platform that has cost me my entire savings – approximately 160,000 euros. From the onset, I was lured in by their promises of high returns and excellent customer service. However, once I made my deposit, everything changed. When issues arose, their support was unresponsive and unhelpful, leaving me feeling defeated and hopeless.
After exhausting all options to retrieve my funds, I turned to a trusted friend who recommended contacting F0𝕣𝕚ˣᵗ•0ʳɢ. Their prompt response and the genuine concern they showed instantly restored my faith. They carefully listened to my situation and quickly assessed that my funds could indeed be recovered. I was filled with hope as they began to work on my case right away.
Days of anxious waiting followed, and I held onto the belief that a solution was possible. To my amazement, I received an email notification that my funds had been successfully deposited back into my account. F0𝕣𝕚ˣᵗ•0ʳɢ had accomplished what I thought was impossible.
This experience has taught me a valuable lesson, and I can confidently recommend F0𝕣𝕚ˣᵗ•0ʳɢ to anyone facing similar challenges. They not only provided a lifeline when I felt lost but also restored my trust in financial recovery. Please be cautious and avoid the pitfalls I encountered. Trust only those who have proven their integrity and capability.

7-day P2P dispute unresolved. Buyer paid with 10 third-party accounts violating MEXC rules. MEXC ignores their own Rule 1d which states order must be cancelled in Seller's favor when buyer provides invalid refund details. Instead MEXC forces me to refund 10 unknown strangers or lose my USDT. Order ID: d1697829949691310082. Buyer account already restricted by MEXC. This is fraud facilitation
UPDATE: MEXC support stated 'there is no fixed rule anymore' when I cited Rule 1d. Case ID: 110001030123. This proves bad faith dispute resolution.

MEXC is a trap! Traded for 3 months, balance $440 (deposited $147, $150, $40). Once I made profit, they stopped my trades. Support lied: "Close positions and withdraw." I did, but they froze my account citing Clause 4.4 (fake money laundering charges). I’m an honest worker with a bank loan and salary slips, yet they hold my deposit hostage. They lure you in, but won’t let you take your money back. Avoid MEXC, they don't play fair with successful traders! A total nightmare.

Almost a scam company, after you deposit funds via sepa transfer or card, you cannot withdraw any form of money, fiat or crypto bought with that deposit for 72 hours. Complete BS since they dont write this on the deposit page. Only when you try to withdraw, they tell you this. Haha, what a joke. After these 72hours for me are over I will completly close my account with them.

I am extremely disappointed with MEXC's execution and customer support. I am a regular retail trader with small capital, and I recently suffered a massive unfair loss due to their system's failure.
I had a Stop Loss (SL) set at $66,000 for a BTC/USDT position. However, the system failed to execute it at the triggered price and filled it much lower at $65,834.2. This resulted in an actual loss of $112.93, which is 117% more than my intended risk of $52.
A price gap of over $165 on BTC is NOT normal slippage; it is a clear execution lag in their matching engine. When I contacted support (Ticket #20260403000328), they repeatedly gave generic robotic replies calling it "normal market behavior" and refused to compensate for the $60.93 excess loss caused by their platform's delay.
If MEXC cannot protect its small-scale traders on high leverage (200x), then the platform is unsafe for retail users. I am sharing this to warn others: your risk management means nothing on MEXC if their system decides to skip your Stop Loss by such a huge margin.

For the second month now, I haven't been able to receive my USDT or money in my account. The support team isn't working. They keep asking me to provide documents, which I did, but they still haven't resolved my issue. Does that mean they're dishonest?
P.S.I want to add a review I left earlier. after almost 2 months, I finally got my usdt. I hope that there won't be any more problems.. I can say thank you to those who solved this issue in my favor. You did well!

I am writing this to warn all high-volume traders about the unfair practices at MEXC. I participated in the Space Odyssey S5 event and generated a massive trading volume of $27,691 USDT, paying significant trading fees to the platform.
However, MEXC has DISQUALIFIED me from receiving my rightful rewards. Their excuse? They claim I received a tiny $1 "Loss Coverage" reward from a separate $10 volume task, and according to their "Rule 5," I cannot receive "similar" rewards.
This is a total scam for three reasons:
Massive Disproportionality: To deny rewards for $27,000+ volume because of a $1 reward is daylight robbery. It is an insult to loyal users.
Lack of Transparency: Their system allowed me to trade $27,000+ without any warning that I was already "disqualified" by a $1 voucher. They just wanted to collect my trading fees.
Conflicting Support: Their staff member (Aviya) confirmed my registration was valid on April 2nd, but now they are backing out.
I have contacted support multiple times (Work Order #20260314000286#), but agents like Hugo and Aviya keep giving robotic "Rule 5" replies without any manual review of the facts.
MY DEMAND: Manually review my case and release my Space Odyssey S5 rewards immediately. I generated the volume, I paid the fees, and I deserve my reward.

MEXC is a scam crypto platform. DO NOT USE IT! If you attempt to withdraw funds, they will hold your money for ransom and demand a payment of 20% of your entire asset amount for "capital gains tax" - not just your actual capital gain! On top of that, they won't simply offer to withhold it, they demand you DEPOSIT MORE MONEY to make the payment!!! And they won't listen, only demand! Investment principle is not subject to taxation, only profits, but that does not matter. SCAM!! AVOID!!
Their reply to this review is more of the same doubletalk. Their live chat is either a bot or automatic replies with boiler plate responses. They do not respond to actual complaints or refute arguments, nor do they work to resolve a dispute. They simply hold your money for ransom. Avoid this platform at all costs. INTERPOL needs to get involved with these crooks. If they release my money, I will post the appropriate response, but they evidently have no shame. There is a special place in hell for people like them!
