Weather template is inaccurate

Weather template comes up being the same for Whakatane and wainui yet totally different areas!!! Probly need more weather reading stations in advertised areas and not just use the Whakatane airport station as the weather base for the rest of the coast!!??

Get it right maybe once

It's incomprehensive how this organisation is unable to even get 50% forecasting correct.
I've been in Te Aroha for more than 2 weeks and the forecasts are so inaccurate.
Today we were expected to hunker down for thunderstorms, lightning, rain expected to cause local flooding etc etc.. um... when was this to happen?
I've noted that most days showers, sometimes to be heavy etc over the last 2 weeks.. um, I think Tuesday we had a light shower overnight.
Stop doing it metservice... scare mongering, procrastinating, being wildly inaccurate, start being realistic or get out of the business...
I don't use your prognosis anymore, I use isobar and another accurate app.
Disappointed use....

Worst weather forecasts out there

Worst weather forecasts out there. Constantly change Palmerston North forecasts on the day with days going from no rain to rain in less then an hour, I mean I could tell you this stuff by looking out the window. The recent upgrades to the Wellington rain radar now produce some of the worst rain predictions for the Manawatu region ever. Just crap.

Crystal Ball Probably More Reliable

Time and again they get it wrong. From constant hedging "probably sunny with a bi of cloud and maybe showers" to not even getting it right in the moment. I can look out the window and it will be radically different to their "now" .
The three day forecast is laughable. Impossible to make any sort of plan based on it. Windy.com or Predict Windo however consistently hit the target with detailed forecasts that are accurate well in advance. If they can do it why cant Metservice?
