So much better than the gamforge servers!!!

Alot of minor bugs maybe they'll get fixed.
Levels 1 to 75 are a borefest, basically 2 dungeons/runs, that's it, in 75 levels you only get two legit dungeons/runs wich are orc maze and DT run and DT run was in the game when it first launched soo, yeah.
The problem is that I was farming hoards, LITERALLY hoards of mobs for 5 HOURS constantly and got no legendary drop, not even a good epic (KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAD 50% BONUS DROP + 40% OBJECT DROP ON MY ACCESSORIES).
People playing this game ain't 10 anymore, what adult in his right mind is willing to spend more than 5 HOURS mindlessly farming the same mobs over and over and over again beats me, maybe im old or maybe my 2 brain cells left from all that farming are telling me "hey buddy, why not play something fun? do you really wanna spend your time off work doing this? Why do you hate yourself that much?".
You should be paid for playing this game, it feels like a chore, the scope of the game is to grind to get gear and levels, so you get levels and grind again for gear so you can level up some more, groundbreaking.
I like that the p2w is not really an issue, and that there are events and the staff is doing what they can with the tools they have but just let it die, people playing this game are just playing it for nostalgia, the second they need to farm 2 days for a decent item they quit, and you can see that, there aren't that many active players, im going to be generous... let's say 100? Maybe 110? Or even less.
Let's be honest, Metin2 was always trash and we played it because we had crappy pc specs, playing this dumpster fire won't bring back the old days and the friendships we made.
In 2021? Just play anything and you will be better off.

Some of the quests are very hard not because what it requires you to do but because of the monster spawns. Lv.11 Horse Quest and a quest named "Supporting War Devices" is the ones i've encountered so far. I also feel like obtaining some of the upgrade materials are so grindy. Shiriken+ is a good example. It has very low drop rate on top of it can only drop from monsters that does spawn every 10 minutes or so. Those material drop rates from rare monsters should be %100 so that players feel like killing that monster is somewhat rewarding even if it doesn't drop any equipment. Also some of the bonuses are so rare to get. I've wasted 40 green changer and couldn't get a single "immune to faint" bonus on my shield. Overall what the development should focus on is "how we can make players NOT to feel they are wasting their time while playing our game". I still had a better experience than gameforge's metin2. I hope you can continue to make this game better.

I don't like the easy start with overpowered equipment.

I love this server and I wish to be more promoted...

The best thing about the server were the players, right now it's empty. so I cannot find something good there. Constantly disconnecting from the server, item shop bugged, etc

Honestly, I have been banned for saying "fuuck" for fun, I didn't even intend to offend anyone. That can give you an idea of the liberty and the choices made by the staff.

If I wanted to assume such rules of language or so, I would have stayed at Gameforge, don't ever believe Tec-Interactive is any better, they just made a private server with absurd rules in their favor. This wouldn't have happened on any other important videogames company, you don't get banned for saying "fuuck".

Is not worth your time.

I don't like the fact that you need to pay so much money as a begginer for the site costumes and mounts just for being equal to other players, a gamplay that is based on farming with basic items would be great.

Server is corrupted... and i can prove this, don't play this metin2 server, you will probabbly get ban for no reason, reported to gameforge

Metin2 SG not hard as offical servers and not easy as pvp servers. Its perfect choice

Generally the server is pretty good. It seems active and populated. Farming is pretty easy compared to other servers.
It also reminds me of when I used to play Metin2 US.

The only complaint I have is that I asked a GM a few questions and I didn't get answers.

Overall pretty solid server and I intend to play more on it.

good gameplay overall, but at the end of the day money is made too hard at least at low levels, because usually farming places are crowded and it seems too hard to advance

After years of gameforge ripoff and different pservers i have to say sg is the best of them all. I like the game design overall. There are only 2 factors which make me say metin2 sg isnt the perfect game.

1. I work a lot and have not much time to play. I would like to get a bit more value for my €. If you farm a whole day you make 30-40w easily with metins stones alone (if you farm 10+hours straight). If i cash 100€ i get 40w ish. Thats a bit lame. Make your ISCoins more Valuable or find a way to fix this issue. I would like to play and farm all day but i cant and i WANT to invest a bit of money to fill the gap but its just not worth it!.

2. The Team is really unhelpfull and unfriendly in most cases. Currently there is no GM/GA i would ask for help if i would be new. You only see the two same GMs online all the time and although there are more (Tary, Elsphet, Shadow...) - they dont show ingame and when they finally show up they are unfriendly and unhelpful.

But as i said, thats the only 2 points i can critisize - the gamedesign and how shadow changed the game over the last years is insanely good. Its a design where you arent top speced after 1-2 months, but there is always a way to get better, make more money, and keep you beeing motivated!

Recommended to every metin2 player.

Do something for the new players they rlly need it.. it s kind hard to do something when you start to play from 0 i felt it on my skin and it s still hard to do someting now.
