Brendon was amazing lovely lovely chap. Our pool table is outstanding the craftsmanship exceptional. However you should be warned it can bring out a level of competitiveness amongst people that are close to you.

Perfect transaction start to finish on an impeccable made table.
Our table was made to order and delivered slightly over the quoted time but we were kept in the loop about the delay due to normal Christmas work load.
The customer who wrote an essay trying to slate this craftsman must be bi polar or similar as would be mad to have cancelled such an amazing product after ordering it - just because it was late during a pandemic!
We could not be happier with our purchase.

We have just taken delivery from Mercury Leisure of a 7ft Pool Dining Table (photos on ML website - see "Roundhouse" design on ball return flap). We are delighted with the table and grateful for Brendon's honest and helpful guidance at every stage through to his personal delivery and installation - everything has been top quality. Before we ordered in late March we were concerned having read the two poor reviews on TP. Now we simply do not understand them because they are so completely contrary to our experience. Brendon is a craftsman with a very well designed product that he tailors to the customer's specific requirements. He kept us informed at every step from order to delivery and always responded quickly to our queries along the way. At order he told us delivery would be in 10-12 weeks. It was actually made in 10 weeks plus a weekend, despite Brendon having injured his arm, with weekend working to deliver on the date we had agreed. I would recommend Brendon and Mercury Leisure without hesitation - thank you.

Ordered my table around 4 weeks ago and took delivery today. Absolutely delighted with both the service beforehand and during delivery. Quality/workmanship of the table is outstanding. Brendan himself couldn’t have been any more helpful in both setting table up and answering my non stop questions! Great care was taken when bringing the table in as room isn’t the easiest to get large items into! Timing was perfect, arriving exactly when he said he would. All in all, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mercury Leisure to anyone looking for a great product at affordable prices. Delivery charge wasn’t extortionate either considering there in South Wales and I’m in Scotland. Very, very impressed

After a very thorough trip around the country researching tables, we settled upon Mercury Leisure.
Having read the other reviews on this company we were a little worried, but we were equally aware that demand was incredibly high during the pandemic.
Brendan was very accommodating, re-designing the entire top of the table as we wanted an 8ft and matched the stain to our floor colour perfectly.
The table plays beautifully with the fast cloth, and being present during the assembly (from a distance) the craftsmanship was exceptional.
It truly is the centrepiece which finished our new extension. I wish we could add pictures on here as we are so pleased with the finished result but hopefully you’ll see our masterpiece on their website. Look out for the dark brown table with the LED’s above and lots of plants surrounding.
We just can’t wait to show it off when guidelines allow!

I have to echo the comments made by the previous reviewer though it does not state on theirs if they had the deposit returned. I ordered a Family pool dining table on the 18th August transferring £500 as a deposit. It was made clear the delivery at the time was 10-12 weeks which I accepted in good faith. Communication was fine during this period answers to my questions usually received within a few hours but that changed as I pushed for a delivery date. I had hoped to have the table delivered on the 20th November as this was my birthday and passed the stated delivery date so I emailed on the 16th but no response. I then phoned the owner (he is the only employee) on the 17th and seemed to catch him off guard he babbled something about staff with covid (staff he didn't have) and not knowing if he had received the baize. He said he would check and email me back that evening but nothing and no contact regarding any delivery date.

My birthday came and went with no contact from Mercury Leisure and at this point I decided enough was enough and ordered an alternative this time from a reputable company. After concluding the sale I sent the owner a very polite cancellation email which amazingly was responded to in 10 mins! He flatly refused to return my deposit stating that the table top which I had requested stay as 1 piece could not possibly be cut into 2. He also confirmed the colour baize I had requested had not been fitted so my table was actually a standard one and could have been then sold to anyone and therefore was subject to the Distance Selling Regulations. I have wasted 3 months waiting for a table I believe would never have been delivered and now I have to go through the courts to retrieve my deposit so I urge you to steer clear of this company unless you want a long wait and to be £500 out of pocket.

I will change this review should Mercury Leisure return my deposit but I will also add to this if court action is required.

Mercury Leisure refuse to return my deposit which is in breach of the Distance Selling Regulations so this has been passed to Trading Standards to investigate.

Despite pointing out that they breaking the Distance Selling Regulations they refuse to return the deposit. Stay well away from this one man band or you will have a long wait then be £500 down.

This is not an April fool but Mercury leisure actually countersuied me for over £1200 for work they (he) said had been completed including £850 for the dining top they charged me £499 for! They also threatened me with libel if I did not remove this review, it is only libel when the statement cannot be backed up with proof. It is now in the hands of the courts I will update again when a decision is made.

Well the court has decided and the judge came down on my side as Mercury Leisure had not followed the Distance Selling Regulations. As we stand i am waiting for the judgement confirmation to arrive before proceeding with debt recovery. In their response to my action Mercury Leisure have stated in writing that they would pay immediately if they lost the case but as yet no refund has been received.

Finally we have closure as Mercury Leisure paid full monies owed the day before the deadline. From this it is clear they were not acting in an unlawful way they are simply poor business people who don't understand trading laws. This has not been an enjoyable experience so take from this review what you will and choose carefully when picking a company to supply your pool table.

It seems Mercury Leisure are asking customers (if they are indeed customers) to slate my review the latest from Jessica even accused me of being Bi Polar, very classy Jessica! The essay Jessica, is to give customers a clear truthful review of extremely poor customer service the very reason this website exists. I am glad you are happy with the table the quality was never questioned just the ability to actually deliver it!

Oordered a pool / dining table - they quoted 4 - 8 weeks on their website - kept having to chase, fobbed off every time I chased - after 11 weeks, still waiting - some story about their van failing its MOT! - ran out of patience and cancelled order. - They not phased, as they said that they have a backlog of orders - If they continue to treat customers the way that they have treated me, then they won't have a backlog for long. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED
