Mercado Bitcoin asked for validity of funds, that I have clearly provided them. They still failed to unlock my account. Now I have money stuck on the exchange and no idea if I will ever receive it back.
Mercado Bitcoin froze my account, claiming some kind of fabricated trading violation. Then attempted to have me send them a $38000 fine. I was advised this was a typical pig butchering operation. Since that time they refuse to answer any support messages. This exchange is definitely not a safe place to invest at. I am presently putting together the entire evidence package for the FBI, and financial crimes section, as well as contacting an attorney.

After lots of validation of your documents, you find out that you pay 0,7% to buy Bitcoin AND worst: you can only transfer 0,1 Bitcoin PER DAY!!!! Paying a fee of 0,0004 BTC, which means AGAIN another 0,4% commission.
0,1 BTC per day is laughable. Binance allows hundreds of BTC per day!!!!!
