My son was measured for his prom Tuxedo…

My son was measured for his prom Tuxedo
In Peabody
He picked it up 4 days before prom
Nobody asked him to try on when he picked it up.
The tux jacket was down to middle of his thigh and sleeves were past his finger tips.
Completely un wearable ,
I went to drop off the tux today and showed pics of jacket and how dissatisfied I was that after being measured for 2 hrs !!
That’s what they decided was his fit.
They offered me 25.00 on a 250.00 rental
And my son was without his tux for prom .
I would not return to this store as they truly don’t know what they are doing in there .

I ordered a suit for my son‘s prom

I ordered a suit for my son‘s prom. When I received the suit, it was great quality, but was not the right size. I had to return the suit and did receive a partial refund like they said I would. I had paid for a prepaid label, but never received it. A nice lady from the company named, Freya called and helped me get my refund for the label that I never received. She was very helpful, friendly and kind. I appreciated her help! I would recommend this company if you are in need for a suit.

Two Tuxedos, No Solution: A Rental Disaster on My Son’s Wedding Day

I was measured and fitted for a tuxedo at Men’s Warehouse in Danbury CT on March 30th and was scheduled to pick it up on May 27th.
I arrived at the Danbury store at approximately 5:00 p.m. on May 27 to pick up my tuxedo, only to be told that it had not arrived. Since I was leaving town at noon the following day, May 28, for my son's wedding, I called the store again that morning. They still did not have it.

I asked if they could ship it overnight directly to the hotel where the wedding was being held, and they agreed.

On May 29, I checked with the hotel's front desk at approximately 5:00 p.m. They had not yet received the package but told me they would contact me when it arrived. While waiting, I received a text message from the Danbury store stating that my tuxedo was ready for pickup.
Naturally, I was confused. I immediately called the store to verify the message, and they confirmed that my tuxedo was indeed at the store and available for pickup.
At that point, I had one obvious question: If my tuxedo was sitting in the Danbury store on May 29, what exactly had they shipped to me on May 28?
The package eventually arrived at the hotel sometime after 5:00 p.m. on May 29. However, because of pre-wedding events and the rehearsal dinner that evening, I was unable to pick it up until the morning of May 30—the day of the wedding.
When I opened the package, obviously it was not the tuxedo I had originally ordered. In fact, it wasn't even close to fitting me.

Once I learned on May 29 that my actual tuxedo was still sitting in the Danbury store, I immediately called and asked that it be shipped overnight to another address where I could receive it before the wedding. I was assured that it would arrive between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. on May 30.
It did not.

The tuxedo arrived later that afternoon, well after the wedding photographs had been taken and after the wedding ceremony began.
In the end, I was left with two tuxedos that I could not wear and had to return.
I eventually spoke with management and received a refund. They attributed the problems to FedEx/ shipping. Well, if Fed ex is the problem, can’t you send it out just one day earlier?? But honestly, this all misses the point. This wasn't just another tuxedo rental. It was my son's wedding day!!

Imagine arriving for a wedding or other milestone event and discovering that the attire you ordered months in advance isn't there. Imagine being told it was shipped, only to learn it was actually sitting back at the store. Then imagine finally receiving a package and finding that it isn't even your order and doesn't come close to fitting. Finally, imagine being promised that the correct item will arrive before the event, only to have it show up after the photos have been taken and the ceremony has begun.

No refund can give those moments back.

I'm sharing this experience not simply to complain, but to help prevent someone else from finding themselves in the same situation. When you're trusting a company with attire for a wedding, graduation, or other once-in-a-lifetime event, reliability isn't optional—it's the entire service being purchased. Unfortunately, that reliability was completely absent in my experience.

All there stores are terrible

All there stores are terrible, I had the worst service at the Fort Myers location, terrible employees and service, I managed upper end men's stores for 30 years and I'd fire every employee at that location, most uninformed staff I've ever had the displeasure to work with. Ordered a suit, I was told I could pick it up the next day, when I drove the 30 miles, only the suitcase was available and the employee canceled the order without ever informing me, no email, phone call nothing.
Inexperienced staff had no clue how to do anything to solve my issue and I need it for my daughters wedding. I later found this was a common issue, they need to hire informed staff that know clothing (no idea on material, fit or cut)
Do not waste your time or money, find another store (not easy in Punta Gorda or Fort Myers). I'll never go into their store nor buy online ever again.

I was shopping for a lightweight suit

I was shopping for a lightweight suit. I looked at Mens Wearhouse website and found some that looked pretty promising. I also noticed that they were having a sale and all suits were 30% off. The option was to order from the website and have it shipped to my home or pick it up in-store. It happens that there is a store 1 1/2 miles from my home and the suits that I was looking at were available to pickup same day in-store. Since they were available same day that tells me that it is coming from the store inventory. I went to the store found the correct size and color but at checkout the sales associate told me that it was NOT on sale. I assumed I made a mistake and I liked the suit so I paid for it. Once I got home I checked and that exact same suit was available at 30% off. I reached out to customer service and wasn’t able to speak to someone until the next day. She said it was a Flash sale and only available on the website even though it would likely have been the same suit that I purchased from the same inventory. She said I could try discussing it with the manager and “maybe” he could help. Instead I returned the suit and bought another one elsewhere. I just don’t like being duped or tricked. It wasn’t the in-store staff. It was ridiculous marketing tricks.

Shell Game

I bought two lovely suites in 1998 in Orlando FL. I have not worn the suites much and they still look new. They both have a classic appeal to them. At the time I purchase I was told over and over that any alterations were free. Just bring the suit to any Mens Warehouse and they will make sure I am taken care of. I brought the suits to the Mall of Georgia Mens Warehouse today. I attempted to have the suites freshened up a bit. It soon became a verbal debate with the sales clerk. Bottom line I was told they could not help me as they were not current with today's fashion. I would be better off just buying new suits as the cost of alterations would far exceed the cost of new. What a racket and disingenuous attempt at service.

Avoid Shelbyville road men’s warehouse

I drove 50 miles twice to get 200 dollar tuxedo rental. Over 200 miles total. All items were not included in garment bag. Before my son’s wedding I called to inform them I didn’t have the items I was charged for. The manager said I could come and get the items one hour prior to my son’s wedding or get compensation upon return of the tuxedo. No compensation upon return and given another story. Lazy employees who will not check their merchandise prior to sales. Disreputable manager and practices. They say one thing and do another. Their surveys expire prior to the business is completed. DO NOT go to Shelbyville Road men’s warehouse.

About a week ago, I sought a few blazers, dress shirts and slacks. While shopping, I was greeted kindly by two associates that later became distracted by a couple getting prepared for an upcoming event. I became invisible. I paced the store, walking back and forth for about an hour, reluctantly leaving the store for another place to buy several jackets, a suit and pants for a place I received service. Unfortunately, I will not return.

No military discount

Offers zero veteran or military discounts but has the audacity to ask if id like to donate $1-$5 to veterans in need to reduce their tax liability.

Get real. Thanks for standing on our shoulders.

Unacceptable

To start this off, Rasheed (sorry if misspelled) is AMAZING and extremely helpful but, if I could give zero stars for overall experience, I absolutely would. When my fiancé dropped off her suit for our wedding the guy said "well since you don't need it until 6/13 we'll do a pick up of 6/1 to make room for prom season appts." First red flag because if the alterations need adjustments, we won't have it in time for our wedding. We decided that while we were in the area a couple weeks later to stop in and move up the pick up date. Second red flag, the person working with us went out back and came back up FOUR times saying he couldn't find her stuff. This was concerning because it was online/final sale. Third red flag, we also saw the tablet when he left it while looking for her suit for the third time and it said the alterations would only take 50 mins and absolutely could have been done the day she dropped it off because it was dead in there. But if not, it should not have been pushed out two months for such a short period of time being spend altering. We finally spoke with the guy she dropped it off with and he had such a bad attitude and asked when we needed it and we said early May. He told us that probably wouldn't happen because they have a lot of work to do for prom and I told him there wasn't a lot of work to do when he decided to prioritize prom over someone's wedding and without turning around while walking out back he hollered "STILL A LOT OF WORK TO DO!"... He came back out and said he moved her stuff to the 5/6 pick up shelf and that was it. We called a couple of days later to confirm it was changed in the system and was told three times that it was but it is now 5/6 and we went all day without hearing from them. I just stopped in after work and her suit is in fact not ready and has not even been started. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service and I hope they take this review as a learning opportunity so future customers can be treated better. My family will never purchase from here again and everyone else I have the chance to deter, I will.

Weed! BO! And Tacky Perfume! OH MY!

Weed! BO! And Tacky Perfume! OH MY!

The men’s wear houses in Pittsburgh are some of the most unorganized horrible experiences I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of interacting with. The Robinson township pa Men’s wear house Jen, is rude and has a terrible attitude, she also smells like weed, the assistant manager looks like she hasn’t showered in weeks and her clothes look frumpy. Honest to god it was horrid just walking into that mess then dealing with them ignoring customers, standing around talking, and smelling of weed and how you best describe is a combination of weed, not showering, and covering it all up with that tacky as heck love story smelling style perform for you older millennials if you know you know, I took my kid and we went to another place to look for prom suits, this place is a mess! Do better! I don’t need my kids being around dirty pot heads!

We recently visited the southpark store…

We recently visited the southpark store & had a great experience. Warren helped us & he was awesome! He was very attentive & helpful. The store was packed with prom & wedding shoppers & he was very busy and handled it all with ease. Warren helped us pick out the suit, shirt, tie, steamed it & helped us tie a tie! He was also funny & it was a great experience, thanks!
