Ever since January, I had a clear vision of how I wanted to propose to my girlfriend, and finding the perfect photographer to help me bring that vision to life was crucial. After researching many photographers in Florence, I stumbled upon Medisproject, and I’m so glad I did. From the very first communication, Mateo was incredibly professional, attentive, and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for this special day. He made sure every detail was covered and even offered great suggestions to enhance the experience.

On the day of the proposal, Mateo’s direction was seamless. He worked his magic from behind the scenes, ensuring that my now-fiancée had no idea it was coming while still guiding us through natural, beautiful poses. His professionalism and friendly demeanor really made the entire process enjoyable.

When we received the final photos, we were absolutely blown away. Each image perfectly captured the emotions, the excitement, and the love we shared in that moment. The photos are breathtaking and truly tell the story of our proposal in such a beautiful, genuine way.

We booked them for a family photoshoot when visiting Italy from Canada.

From the start they were very easy to work with to arrange everything and communicate well.

For the shoot itself, they were incredibly patient with our two boys (4 year old and2 year old). We never felt rushed and they were so kind. The photos themselves turned out amazing.

I highly recommend them, especially if you have children. They are fabulous, you won’t regret it!

Matteo and Dovilé are fantastic, communicative and absolutely talented. We had a family photo shoot during our trip to Florence and Matteo and Dovilé made it very enjoyable. They were accommodating to us (we had young children with us) and they took beautiful photos of our family. They were responsive and sent the edited photos quickly. We would absolutely have them take our photos again!

I reached out to Matteo from the United States when planning a proposal in Tuscany and he made the whole experience seamless and was a pleasure to work with. The email communication was prompt and all my questions were answered. Matteo was very flexible with his schedule to meet virtually even with the time zone difference. He gave great advice and tips, knows the area in Tuscany very well and was professional throughout the process. On the day of the proposal and taking the photo’s he was very easy to work with and had a warm personality that puts anyone at ease. We were given a sneak peak of the photos within a day, and the rest of the photo’s afterwards, and they all looked amazing! We loved the photos and were happy to have chosen MeDisProject Photography.

We had a fantastic time with Matteo and Dovile taking family photos outside of Florence. This was very special to us as they took our family photos 7 years ago when our kids were really little. We look at our photos often and they are such perfect freeze frames of our little family through the years. We had the most incredible experience with Matteo and Dovilė as our wedding photographers! They were so generous and kind! They had such an ease about their process so nothing felt forced or uncomfortable. They gave us a sneak peak of their photos the very next day after our wedding which was amazing and then the photos were ready in less than two months. Fantastically talented and kind. We've worked with MeDis Project three times now and they've managed to exceed our hopes and expectations every single time. They capture stunning photos, where the people and the setting both come through beautifully. I've hired them for a multi-generation family vacation, a small family photo session, and a large group session where they captured photos of each couple and individual, as well as the group.
Matteo and Doville always help us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Not only have they always captured this special experience for us with each family member beautifully represented, but they also capture the stunning locations and backdrops of the village architecture and natural landscapes of Tuscany. So what we have is truly art.

Their pricing is an excellent value for the quality they deliver. The MeDisProject’s online sharing portal also makes it easy to share the pictures with family members, to download images, and to purchase prints from whichever printer you prefer. Highly recommend!

Dovilė & Matteo were amazing to work with for our engagement photos. They were super personable which really helped us feel comfortable throughout the shoot. Their dynamic together also makes for a fun experience. They also did a great job of talking out the shots they wanted to get and what they wanted out of us. The final product was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for much more. We HIGHLY recommend working with them and we already can't wait to come back in a few years to take family photos with them as well.

For our 50th wedding anniversary, we rented a villa in Tuscany, Italy to celebrate this occasion with our family. On the night of our Anniversary dinner I hired Matteo & Dovile to take photos of this special occasion. They came for 3 hours and took many, many wonderful, creative photos - group photos, photos of each family, individual photos. Each photo was done in perfect light and beautifully composed. The expense was worth every penny. Plus they are a delightful couple. Afterwards we made a Shutterfly book from all the photos and gave each family a copy. I highly recommend this talented and gracious duo.

Matteo & Dovile are so talented and fun to work with. Our photo session in Florence is still one of our favorite family travel memories even after eight years. Their beautiful work is displayed throughout our home. During Covid we took part in their virtual portrait project which turned out beautifully. MeDis Project Photography goes above and beyond a standard photo session and we plan on continuing to work with them again in the future to capture our special memories.

I reached out to MeDisProject Photography to take pictures for our family reunion in Greve, which is south of Florence. Dovilė & Matteo (husband and wife photography team) were very responsive as we communicated via email to plan. When we met on the day of the shoot, they were very friendly and did an amazing job wrangling 22 of us, including 6 small children ranging from 6 months to 7 years old. The pictures turned out even more beautiful than we could have hoped for and we are so grateful to have such a lovely memento from our trip.
