I wouldn't ask them for an aspirin

This review only refers to Medigence's Turkey operation.
I requested cost and availability for a simple basic blood test that most hospitals can do. Medigence kept asking for copies of personal medical records and a copy of the patient's passport. They kept asking for the personal info but would not supply cost or how to book appointment. All they were interested in was getting some very personal details, the kind of details that could easily be misused in the wrong hands. Personally, I would trust them to issue an aspirin.

Dr Kaushik of MediGence was extremely…

Dr Kaushik of MediGence was extremely helpful and courteous following my query regarding my shoulder injury, and possible treatment options at Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul.
The information provided was very useful, in detailing the sequence of treatment steps involved, outlining the potential costs, timescales for recovery, etc, and helping me to make a decision as to whether I needed surgery.
I recommend MediGence for this reason.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, nothing is right!
I was lured as a patient for a heart transplant, arriving in August 2024 for a preliminary examination, then I was supposed to receive a link where I could see my position for the transplant, the link didn't come, but the call (chat) to arrive after just 6 weeks, supposedly position 7 in the queue.
I flew in November 2024.
There were a few examinations and doctor's appointments (for a fee).
After a long wait, the transplant appointment was not a consultation, so they avoided it, but they would have liked to insert an LVAD.
After I urged the doctors, the first doctor came and said that the operation appointment would certainly take much longer, but I had to arrive quickly.
After that, everything became more and more dubious.
At the end of December, I went to the patient manager and explained that if I wasn't given a time, I would end this here.
He then explained that India is the least suitable country for international patients who want a transplant, the Indian state allocates the transplants to hospitals and Indian patients have priority.
Only when there is no Indian patient waiting would a transplant be given to a foreigner!
Waiting until death occurs, but plenty of preliminary examinations are carried out for which there are costs and this is the real reason.
I can't say anything about other treatments such as surgery, but organ transplantation is almost impossible.
In Thailand too, this is only possible if you are resident.
So if you send them a list of procedures, text on white paper, then the sender insists on company letterhead and a confirmation from the hospital also on company letterhead.
Not the treatment plan from the hospital with the costs, that is just the plan, no, the procedure with appointments.
My medical agent started with Mxxxxxxxx, the consultant started with Vxxxx.

Highly recommend Medigence

Hi, I am Mrs Beeharry Renouka from Mauritus and came to know about Medigence through my medical insurance that is MUA.
A special thanks to Dr Guneet , Mr Tanmoy and Miss Ayushi who were of great help in assisting us in regards my husband surgery done in Max Hospital Vaishali.
They were very professional and friendly.
Talking about assistance same starts from airport from day one to hospital and then back to hotel. To note that our appointment with treating doctor already scheduled for a first visit for a diagnosis.
One plus point is the the daily message and calls about how you are doing and the availability to call them at anytime when needed.
I will surely share my personal experience to our MUA clients too for anyone who will need Medigence support.
Once again, thank you so much team.
Special thanks to Miss Ayushi Sharma....

BRAVO, Medigence!

I was lucky to have come across Medigence as I was dealing with what seemed to be a very daunting task to find the best possible treatment for my mom who had been suffering from a severe form of osteoarthritis of both knees and excruciating pain on a daily basis associated with that condition.

We (me and mom) had decided to deal with it at once that is to find a medical facility and an experienced surgeon who could operate on both knees in one surgery. There are some increased risks associated with bilateral knee replacement surgery but the benefits are obvious:
less total time in hospital, less total recovery time, one trip to a chosen country of treatment resulting in considerable savings, and most importantly a sooner riddance of the daily pain and crippled condition.

There are just a few countries that offer this kind of treatment, India and Turkey among them. As I was doing my on-line research, contacting a few hospitals along the way, I was lucky to come across Medigence who pretty much took off a considerable burden off my shoulders by helping me to find an optimal solution.

They promptly answered all of my questions and almost in no time picked the best treatment options in Turkey and India. One of the options in India was an a-ha moment for me as it offered a very experienced surgeon who uses computer navigation and robotic equipment in his surgeries, thus minimizing the risk of possible complications and making the surgery minimally invasive
The treatment packages that Medigence offered for each hospital were very well priced as I had directly approached one of the suggested hospitals earlier and they quoted a much steeper price for the same treatment.

Moreover, when I made a final pick and asked Amit (Medigence CEO) if he could negotiate a better price, he had managed to secure a good discount and even get some extra goodies like a private room hospital stay and 6 individual physio therapy sessions after discharge.

Then, they helped us greatly with visas, coordination of hospital and surgery dates, booking of hotel, late night pick-up at the airport and transportation to the booked hotel.
They even hooked us up with some fresh local mangoes upon arrival!
Thank you, Tanmoy!

Then, the next morning, one of the company staff, charming Dr. Suruchi came to the hotel and took us to the hospital for the Doctor's consultation and helped us with all formalities and procedures to be admitted to the hospital later on the same day. She had stayed in a very close contact with the hospital and us during the hospital stay, facilitated our discharge, found a hotel, and booked physio therapy sessions as promised by Amit who had personally picked a very good physiotherapist for us to ensure a smooth recovery after the hospital.

Me and my mom are very grateful to all of Medigence staff, Amit and Dr. Suruchi in particular, for making this medical journey possible and helping us in each and every way all along.

The experience with MediGence started …

The experience with MediGence started even when we were still in Uganda trying to know how to get a hospital and what would happen when we arrived. Ashutosh was quite gracious to provide all relevant info and meet us at the Airport.
Helped in making appointments for the doctors and guided us through the building and systems. Sonam and Ashutosh were extremely helpful in this regard. They were always available solving/helping us understand the system and culture.
The support/service provided by MediGence was most appreciated whenever we tried to go on our own because it would never be as smooth as when we had them by outside.
I would encourage anyone I know or anyone going for treatment in India to use the services of MediGence. All the best and good luck.
